Chapter 344: Beginning of new beginning (2)
Many things happened with the influx of returnees from Earth. Some became glad at the changed world while some became sad at the changed world. The world was now united under the Khalodian Empire. While some n.o.bles were unhappy about the outcome, most people were glad of such change.
“Humans don’t change.”
Graham spoke as he sipped the hot tea in his cup. Those sitting around the table nodded.
“They don’t change. Yes,” Doral answered. The Ainos and Magnos too knew well about human greed.
“Oh, I was contacted.”
Everyone turned to Graham. Graham continued, “The Horuns have all been eradicated. We were able to cut out all connections.”
“Wow.”
“Whoa.”
Halis, the first son of Jinpok, became surprised. The Empire’s long unsolved problem was dealing with remnants of the Horuns. They were hidden deep and didn’t pose much threat so they were left alone until now.
“My comrades were doing that while they were traveling around the world. We’ll consider our token of grat.i.tude.”
Dragons were traveling through many parts of the land now, enjoying their time. Meanwhile, they were also solving issues that the Empire was dealing with.
“Thank you, sir.”
Jackson got up and bowed toward Graham.
“A few dragons and I will be nesting at the Khalodian Mountain range.”
Graham turned to Joonb.u.m and Doral.
“There were some locations for us to occupy.”
Joonb.u.m became surprised. As they became closer to each other, Joonb.u.m learned that dragons were the outcome of radioactive energy came from nuclear energy. Due to this, the dragons were able to absorb them without any harm. Joonb.u.m then realized that the monsters existing on the mountains were the actual outcome.
“Are there a lot?”
Graham nodded.
“How long will it take?” Joonb.u.m asked. He was asking how long it was going to take to get rid of everything.
“A long time. We expect thousands of years.”
“Hmm…”
“T-thousands…”
Everyone became shocked.
“Then we will announce that place as the dragons’ territory. We will add similar places to it too.”
Graham nodded. Jackson then brought up a new topic.
“We need to discuss the topic of independent governments over different regions.”
“Oh, that.”
Joonb.u.m nodded. The Khalodian Empire now ruled over the entire land. As such, the land became too large and it needed to be handled separately in each area. The new proposed law was to elect officials who will be taking the lead of each city and solving their independent problems.
“The Council pa.s.sed the law with the majority agreeing to it.”
“Is it?”
“Yes, Your Majesty. It is up to you.”
Everyone looked at Joonb.u.m.
“I approve.”
