Jiang Yan first left to find a hairstylist, then returned home to change into alluring clothes. He also sprayed some perfume and put on a stud earring. Looking at his handsome appearance, he nodded his head in satisfaction. This was the right feeling.

It was still more comfortable being his usual self. How could the appearance of crew-cut hair and T-s.h.i.+rt with jeans match him ah!

On the TV, the family of those missing youngsters were in a trance, their faces bathed in tears. Now that they suddenly disappeared without any bit of clues left to investigate, everyone wasn't able to accept the loss.

This matter had already reached the utmost importance. Nearly the entire Hais.h.i.+'s police officers were dispatched and the residents of Hais.h.i.+ were anxious. It had been almost a week since the first disappearances and many people were afraid to go out in the evening. 

Yun Rong watched the news and no longer had any appet.i.te for the snacks in her hands. As she watched, her eyes exposed a trace of compa.s.sion.

Lu He Nian saw that the young lady's mood wasn't good and was about to say a few words to comfort her. He raised his head and happened to see Jiang Yan walking in and asked: "Why did you come?"

"Second uncle, last time Yun Rong saved me, don't I need to thank her?" Jiang Yan saw Lu He Nian and his legs became weak. It was as if with a glance, he could see through his purpose. Jiang Yan already did his research. Yun Rong came from the countryside, so she presumably had never ridden a horse before. A girl, riding a horse for the first time, must be scared. At that time, he would gently and softly encourage her from the side and lead her horse to walk a few rounds. Then wouldn't her good impression of him increase?

Yun Rong was very happy and was even more grateful to the director. She exposed a beaming smile towards Lu He Nian.

Jiang Yan wasn't paying attention to the two people's expressions. When he heard Lu He Nian's sentence, he thought he had heard wrongly. "Two thousand, twenty million?1 Second uncle, isn't this a bit much? There isn't that much in my account……."

Editing this chapter was such a blessing… I'm in the middle of doing a graded a.s.signment and my head was about to explode, this gave me the perfect excuse to procrastinate a bit hehe  ??
