"Where are you going?" Thea asked Chin who suddenly got up from her chair when Jeru entered her bedroom . Thea was already discharged from the hospital and was now back at Jeru's house .

She and Chin had a heart-to-heart talk just a while ago . They talked about her circ.u.mstances and Chin had given Thea her honest opinion about the whole situation . She had given Thea some advice and told her what she would do if she was in her shoes .

Chin rolled her eyes and said jokingly, "I also need a break, you know? Just let me do my own things for a bit…" She then gave Thea a meaningful look before she turned around and greeted Jeru .

Chin was happy to start the new life that Jeru had promised her . She was hired to be a part of Jeru's security team and she promised herself that she would not waste this opportunity that was given to her for a fresh new start . She would do her absolute best at her new job .

She turned around to give Thea one last meaningful wink . She only hoped Thea would heed her advice, because she truly believed that it would be the best for her . But of course, whatever Thea would decide in the end, she would always stay by her side and support her . Both of them were each other's only family . She would stick with Thea no matter what .

He started to explain everything to Thea . He told her of his dream to have a family of his own . Of his wish for his child to bear his name . He had never wanted for his child to be born out of wedlock . But most importantly, he wanted his child to have a complete and loving parents who were still together .

With reddened face, Jeru grabbed her hand and put the ring on her finger . It fitted her finger perfectly . Thea was fl.u.s.tered by his action . She was rendered speechless and remained motionless like a frozen statue .

Jeru who was now holding both Thea's hands added, "Don't worry, I will not force you to perform the duty of a wife . You know… I mean if that's what you're worried about…"
