The Kpop Otaku's Dream 83 Press Tour

Sitting on a press chair, in a well lit room in silence. Chae-won and I patiently wait for the round of interviews to begin. Typically these PR stuff is dealt with the lead actors but since Seungi is shooting 2 Days 1 Night in Jeju and Hyo-joo is in South Africa for fas.h.i.+on week. I was called in to step up.

The atmosphere is a bit tense as my nervousness is apparent. I've never been interviewed before, I hope I don't, pardon my french 'Sh*t the bed*'

Unable to hide my worry Chae-won notices my ever moving leg, "Dylan... don't worry. Just think of it like a normal chat. And I'm here as well. Trust this noona" she says while sticking her chest out in a.s.surance.

Facing the right, I take a proper look at her for the first time this morning. Her hair is released , and settling around her shoulders perfectly. Wearing a tantalizing sheer white blouse with a short black and purple plaid skirt, showing off her model like legs. She embodies what confidence and beauty is.

She is such a bear type! It's crazy!

That cute baby face and that lovable dimple when couple with her glamorous body is unfair to the male psyche.

"I will" I eventually answer after my feast for the eyes ends.

*Knock Knock*

A female reporter enters, she's wearing a business suit and her hair is tied into a ponytail. Chae-won regonizes her and whispers into my ear, "I know her, she's from star-date. They are pretty fun."

I see Chae-won's teasing smile, she's having fun showing off her experience.

The female reporter greets enthusiastically, "Good Morning, how are you today?"

"Couldn't be better" I smile and give Chae-won her turn to speak

"Great, thanks for asking and how are you .... Eul? right?" Chae-won says

"Omo, how did you even remember me?" She asks

"I'm pretty good with faces and names" Chae-won answers.

"Thank you guys for taking time out to chat to me today" She says

We wave it off like its no big deal, "The pleasure is all ours" Chae-won responds in a sincere tone on behalf of us both

"So if you can please introduce yourself (pointing to the camera" She directs

Since I'm on the right we decide to go clockwise and I start off, "Annyeonghaseyo, I'm rookie actor Dylan Park. Please take care of me" I offer a slight bow at the end.

I'm followed by Chae-won who in her typical composed and cold tone, "Annyeonghaseyo. I'm actor Chae-won Moon. Please look forward to our new drama Brilliant Legacy"

"Waaah!" The female presenter overeacts as if we just did something incredible. She's really playing it up for the camera.

"My first quest is for Chae-won...." She pauses dramatically " You're all the rage these days. Do you agree?"

I almost do a spit take at this surprising line of question, but I manage to hold it in and lightly giggle.

Chae-won flashes a bright smile seeing this, and tilts her head to the side as if she is pondering how to answer the question before immediately answering confidently while chuckling and with a slight nod says, "Yes"

"Dylan... What's your opinion?"

"It's obvious isn't it. Those male fans were outside since 5 am." I roll my eyes

"Why do you think Chae-won is so well liked?" The reporter question

"Well Chae-won noona, is ..... a natural actor. She thinks a lot about the character. Whenever something doesn't feel right. She will go to the director and say "Director, I don't think Seungmi (her character) would respond like this." She's really cool like that and also ....."

"Also??" The reporter presses for me to continue

"She's really really pretty" I answer before finding myself slightly embarra.s.sed.

"Ding Dong Deng!! Finally you got the right answer" She laughs

"Chae-won, you recently won two awards that you can only win once in your lifetime" Referring to Chae-won's Best new actress awards she won at both KCE and the SBS shows.

"It was meaningful enough that I got to attend" She responds demurely

"What did your family say when you came home?"

"They were sleeping" She responds with a slight annoyed tone recalling the situation.

"Really?" I ask

"It was late" She says in her parents defense

"So who did you celebrate with do you have any female celebrities you're close to?"

"I'm close to Moon Geun Young and Han Hyo-joo. I know Son Ye Jin, too."

"I see, Pretty girls always stick together" the reporter says downtroddenly.

Chae-won amusingly scoffs, "You're very pretty! Don't be jealous"

"How about you Dylan do you have any celebrity friends yet?"

"Strangely enough most of my close celebrity friends are woman too. I got to know Yoona and Hyori-noona from family outing. And we really hit it off so we get together every now and then. Yoona and SNSD even came to our set as a surprise on the last day of filming. Seungi-hyung loved it "

"What about Chae-won? Is she not a celebrity friend?"

Chae-won turns to look at me expectantly. Her dark eyes gazing directly at me.

"Uhhh no..." Chae-won looks slightly hurt before I say the second part of my sentence, "She's more like my big bro!"

"Hey! Don't go changing my gender" Chae-won shouts in the loudest voice she's probably ever used on TV yet.

"It's surprising seeing Chae-won get mad. You are very feminine and it doesn't really fit your image." The reporter says surprised

Chae-won shakes her hands in protest, "I swear I don't. It's just Dylan really likes to mess with me. If I don't put him in his place. When he gets cheeky like this...."

Chae-won's voice gradually goes softer as she becomes more embarra.s.sed the more she recalls her (IMO very adorable) outburst. But I catch the words which the mic doesn't, "Its only him"
