While Zuhn was staring at the man, a sudden but strong force hit him. The pressure was forcibly pus.h.i.+ng Zuhn towards the ground. Zuhn tried to fight it but was taken down by the pressure.

Now Zuhn was soaked in sweat from trying to fight the pressure. He was pretty much completely on the ground. He was on his hands and knees, while his face was almost touching the ground.

"I'm honestly shocked you finished the last trial."

A cold voice was heard above Zuhn. Zuhn tried to look up but was only met with the pressure again.

That man must be at an insane level of cultivation to push me down.

"Well, even though all of your mental trials are over. I still have three more for you to complete."

The pressure on Zuhn's body started to slowly fade. Zuhn was now able to move around a little bit. Though, he wasn't able to completely move his body freely.

Zuhn looked at the man, the man still looked the same as before. Only his wicked smile was the same. It looked even more deadly, the other two people were also looking at him.

Zuhn could sense that they both had grim looks glued on their faces. Zuhn started to think in his head, trying to contact Maximus. He tried several times, but Maximus wouldn't answer.

"Oh, that won't work here."

One of the people sitting next to the man spoke. Turning his head, he saw the person that was talking. From first glance, the person looked quite young. Most likely younger than Zuhn, the teen had blonde hair with blue eyes.

He was wearing bright colored clothes, ranging from purple to gold. The colors fit perfectly on the teen, which made Zuhn a little confused. From Zuhn's memory, he looked like a normal n.o.ble teen.

Zuhn has seen countless n.o.bles from Hencewood and other towns he's visited. Only these clothes were a bit different, giving off a strange aura. Zuhn shook his head slowly after thinking about what the teen said.

The man in the suit cleared his throat to get Zuhn attention.

"The youth that just spoke is named Black Death. Well, that's not his real name of course, but it's his name for today."

The man let off a small laugh before continuing.

"Anyway, besides his name. To start your first Real Trial, we are going to have you two fight."

Black Death got up in seconds after hearing what the man said. His aura increased by several folds. Zuhn's could feel the teen was quite strong. From the aura alone, Zuhn knew the teen had to be around his own cultivation rank.

The last of the pressure went away around Zuhn. After moving his limbs a little bit, he looked back at the youth. Blue light covered Zuhn and the youth before transporting them to an area.

The area was quite big, looking around Zuhn could see rows of seats. They weren't filled, but there was a small black box with windows. Inside was the man and the other strange person sitting beside him.

"Also… I forgot to mention. Your fighting to the death..."

When the youth in front of heard 'fighting to the death' his face completely changed. He went from already being a strange person, to be a complete maniac.

Zuhn's expression didn't change, he thought back to the words White Rose spoke of. Not to destroy or expose his act ever. Always stay calm and look at your opponent with no fear.

Zuhn did this perfectly, letting off a chill aura around his body. Staying completely calm while looking at the youth.

Suddenly, the youth started to speak.

"Do you know why they call me 'Black Death'?"

Dark clouds formed around the youth, Zuhn was starting to have trouble seeing the youth. The clouds kept getting bigger and bigger, covering the whole area.

Zuhn couldn't see in front of him anymore, causing him to move into a battle stance.

"Begin"

The man in the black box spoke, causing the smoke to become denser. When the smoke entered Zuhn mouth he started to feel a burning in his throat and lungs.

He coughed a couple of times.

In mere seconds, Zuhn started to a special technique he found to control his breathing. The technique was quite special, it had the ability to clean air.

When Zuhn first learned it, he thought it was completely useless. Well, now he was quite happy that he learned it. He should have known it was going to be useful since it came from The Ancient Magic Book.

The poison in his body started to fade away after a couple of breaths. After all of the poison was out of his body, he started to modify the technique to let him breathe normally.

A sharp pain exploded from his left arm. Zuhn clicked his tongue and held onto his left arm. The pain was extreme, he had never felt so much pain from one attack.

Hot blood met his hand, the wound in his arm was pretty serious. Pretty much making his left arm useless.

"Too much power."

The youth's voice was heard from all around Zuhn. Another sharp pain hit Zuhn in the back. Only this time it didn't hurt as much as his arm. Again another attack hit Zuhn in his left leg.

Zuhn dropped to one knee from the pain all over his body.

The youth started to laugh after Zuhn fell to one knee.

"Only three attacks? That's it, Three attacks made you fall!"

The youth kept laughing, once again Zuhn felt a sharp pain in his right leg. Zuhn hit the ground, face first. Pain and blood covered his body, Zuhn tried to move but found that he couldn't even move a finger.

Thoughts started to rush through his mind, memories of everything that happened in his life. One of the biggest things he remembered was White Rose, thinking about White Rose caused his eyes to turn Crimson Red.

"Oh?"

The youth had surprise in his voice after seeing Zuhn's eyes turn red.

Zuhn thought back to when he was fighting White Rose, he thought about his skills when wielding a dagger. Zuhn's eyes were already crimson red, but they started to faint glow.

Zuhn pictured the battle that he had with White Rose, it was one of the first times of him actually losing to someone. Having remember this terrible moment in his life anger erupted from his whole body.

His aura became huge, spreading throughout the whole area. Unknown the Zuhn, the man in the black box slightly smiled at the sight.

"It's over."

The man mumbled under his breath. The young girl that was sitting beside him became greatly confused at her master's words.

Zuhn started to move slowly as he got up to his feet. The wounds on his body started to slowly heal, once Zuhn got up his crimson eyes glowed a perfect golden color.

All of Zuhn's wounds healed, but blood still covered his body. The youth noticed that Zuhn got up, along with his aura reaching new heights. The youth knew that Zuhn was becoming something strange.

Knowing that Zuhn's aura increased he decided it was time to end the fight. With all of his power, the youth rushed at Zuhn.

The youth was only one meter away when he was about strike Zuhn's head. Zuhn turned his head and looked directly into the youth's eyes.

How!?!

Zuhn with lighting quick speed pulled out his dagger and sliced the youth's head clean off. The youth dropped to the floor in two pieces. The dark clouds in the area started to slowly fade away.

Once all of the clouds were gone, the blood appeared all over the area. When Zuhn sliced off the youth's head, blood spattered everywhere. Zuhn's eyes were still glowing and new fresh blood covered his body.

In a quick motion, Zuhn lifted his dagger and pointed at the black box.

The man inside had a huge grin on his face. While the girl sitting next to him had a face of shock and horror. She couldn't believe someone as powerful as Black Death was killed so easily.

Black Death was the second most powerful genius under De Chen, her master. Black Death was one of her master's top disciple, he was at the peak of Spiritual Sky Lord.

She couldn't believe her eyes looking at Zuhn. His body was covered in blood while his eyes were crimson red with a faint golden glow. While she was looking at Zuhn with deep terror, her master had a huge grin on his face.

"Well Done!"

The man in the suit laughed while speaking out to Zuhn.

"You outdid my predictions, I know understand why you are this far into the Ancient Trial."

The man in the black box nodded a couple of times before he disappeared along with the other youth.

Zuhn put down his sword after seeing them disappear. Zuhn's eyes started to turn back to normal. He let out a long sigh after the battle was over.

The area around Zuhn started to disappear again, only this time Zuhn didn't care. He already was teleported multiples times. Zuhn pretty much completely forgot that he was in an Ancient Trial.

The area quickly vanished from Zuhn's sight but was replaced back to the room he was originally in. Again a huge pressure hit Zuhn, only this time it felt a little bit less.

He was completely pushed down the ground. He was able to stand and look at the man. Though, he wasn't able to move out of his position. The man in the black suit sat staring at Zuhn with an emotionless face.

The youth sitting next to the man looked a lot different. Zuhn remembers when he first got here, she was stoic like the man in the chair and Black Death.

Only, now she was way different. Her lips were quivering from looking at Zuhn. Zuhn thought for sure that she was scared of him now. Letting off a cold smile he looked directly into the eyes of the youth.

Seeing him looking at her she quickly turned her head the other way. Even letting out a small scream under her breath. The man in the chair took notice to this and laughed a little.

"Zuhn looks like you scared my disciple half to death with your last fight."

Zuhn moved his eyes off the youth and back at the man.

"Wh"

"Congratulations on breaking through to Spiritual Sky Realm."

Zuhn was completely cut off by the man's words but decided not to speak again.

Spiritual Sky Realm?

Zuhn wondered what the man was talking about, but a.s.sumed he broke past Martial Sky Emperor. Spiritual Sky Realm was probably the next stage in cultivation.

The man in the suit noticed a hint of confusion on Zuhn face.

"Oh? Do you not know about the cultivation ranks?"

Zuhn answered honestly, "Nope, nothing past Martial Sky Emperor."

"Lovely, Why don't I explain them to you then?"

Zuhn nodded a little.

"Since you know the cultivation ranks before Martial Sky Emperor, I'm not going to explain them. You yourself just broke through to Spiritual Sky Realm, like every rank there is Early, Middle, Late, and Peak."

Zuhn nodded as he already knew about the stages in each rank.

"After Spiritual Sky Realm there is Spiritual Sky Lord, Spiritual Sky King, Spiritual Sky Emperor. The next realm after Spiritual Sky Emperor is quite special. The name of the cultivation rank is Heavenly Sky Realm."

The man stayed quiet for a couple of seconds before he continued speaking.

"There is only one rank when you get to Heavenly Sky Realm. Which is Heavenly Sky. Once someone becomes Heavenly Sky ranked, they are pretty much just getting started with cultivating. Heavenly Sky ranked cultivators can live up to 1,000 years if they are at the peak."

This shocked Zuhn, he remembered that his cultivation orbs could go up to Mystic Rank. Though the man in front of him hasn't spoken about Mystic yet. Meaning it had to be extremely high in the rankings.

"Once you leave Heavenly Sky Realm, you pretty much leave the mortal realm. Meaning you can start actually cultivating in the Heavenly Realm. Heavenly Realm is where we are right now. The Heavenly Realm is a very special place with tons of sects all around. There are quite a number of other cultivation ranks, but that's all I'm going to explain today. Also, since I know you're wondering, I'm Mystic Ranked… Which is quite small compared to others."

Zuhn was shocked by the amount of power Mystic Ranked cultivators had. This made him become more excited after hearing about it and seeing what someone could do with the power.

Though, he quickly saddened after remembering how far he was from being Mystic.

"Anyway, You've gone through a lot of trials. I'm going to have to guess you've been in this ancient Trial for a couple of years now in the Mortal Realm."
