After Zuhn called out his name towards Na Yu, she turned around and approached his cell. Once she put her hands on the cell bars, everything stopped.

Not only did Na Yu stop everyone stopped. Zuhn stood still for a couple of seconds but started to move after seeing what was happening.

Na Yu and the other people in the prison weren't moving. Zuhn got up and started to walk around his cell.

"Hm."

Someone spoke inside of Zuhn mind.

'Maximus?'

Zuhn called out to Maximus, but no one responded.

"Z...Sheng."

Hearing his last name, Zuhn walked over to the front of the cell. He tried to look out to see if there was anyone that wasn't frozen that was talking.

When Zuhn got to the bars, he could see more clearly, how weird everyone was. No one was moving, it was completely silent, besides the voice that was talking outside of the cell.

"Sheng"

Again the voice spoke, Zuhn looked all around trying to figure out where the voice was coming from.

Tick Tock, that's all Zuhn could hear. It was steadily becoming louder and louder. It got to a point that it sounded like the ticking was against his hear.

Zuhn's head started to vibrate from all of the tick-tocks going off around him. His vision began to blur, his mind started to fade away. While falling, along with his blurry vision a small youth walked up to the cell.

The youth was wearing a purple cloak, Zuhn couldn't see his face. Though, the youth had a chilling aura around his body. Zuhn was sure, that the youth wasn't from the sect.

"Just… Who… Are… You?"

The time around the cell unfroze, leaving Na Yu to look onto Zuhn. Zuhn was fallen over, completely unconscious. After seeing this, Na Yu called over several guards.

They opened the cell and rushed inside. Some of the soldiers had their weapons out pointing at Zuhn. While others were trying to figure out what was wrong with Zuhn.

One of the brave soldiers tried to move close to Zuhn. Once he got around 1 meter away from Zuhn, he was pushed into the wall. An unknown force sent the soldiers all around Zuhn flying into the walls of the cell.

This caught Na Yu off guard, she a.s.sumed that the youth in the cell was trying to fight back. She brought out her bow and pointed it at the youth. She released one arrow, a very powerful arrow at that.

The arrow soared through the air before it could reach its target. The same unknown force caught the arrow mid arrow. The arrow that was stopped in the air was one of Na Yu's strongest attacks.

She was shocked by the arrow being stopped. A grim smile appeared on her face. The youth in front of her wasn't just someone normal, he had to be someone with great power.

Zuhn woke up, looking around him he was in the middle of a white room. No one was around him, all that was around him was white. He couldn't tell where the floor ended and the wall started.

Zuhn tried to reach around his body to find his dagger. Though, when he tried to reach into his clothes. He couldn't find anything. Looking down, Zuhn found out that he was in a small T-s.h.i.+rt with shorts.

He wasn't in his normal clothing. He didn't have his weapons, he didn't have anything that he usually had. Getting up, Zuhn tried to figure out what just happened.

Inside of his head, he tried to call out for Maximus again. Once again, Maximus didn't respond. Zuhn was completely alone, there was no one that was going to help him.

When Zuhn woke up, he got the vibe from when he entered the trial. Only, this place was quite different compared to when he went into the trial.

Although, Zuhn couldn't figure out where he was. He could still feel the surrounding area with his mana.

Around him, there was no mana. It was clean, nothing that Zuhn could take advantage of.

Zuhn s.h.i.+fted his head around the room. Looking for where the sound was coming from. Nothing, Zuhn couldn't see anyone. After a couple of seconds, Zuhn heard the ticking again.

The same as the last time, a young youth in a purple cloak came out of nowhere. He was slowly walking towards Zuhn. Moving with the beat of the ticking.

Every time the ticking started the youth would walk with it. Zuhn was still trying to figure out what he was going to do. He couldn't do anything, he didn't have a weapon on him.

With no weapon on him, he decided to move into a defensive stance. He didn't have a weapon on him, but he still knew a couple of spells. Although, there wasn't any mana in the air.

Zuhn for some reason could still feel his magical power running through his body. With a couple of thoughts, he got an idea of the power he had in his body.

With the mana in his body, Zuhn could cast a couple of spells that could do a decent amount of damage. A small smile appeared on Zuhn's face as the youth got closer to Zuhn.

Suddenly, the youth stopped. The ticking stopped, once again it felt like time stopped. Zuhn thought of a simple fireball spell in his mind, he was about to send the fireball.

The youth spoke, slowly taking off his cloak. When the youth revealed his face. Zuhn stopped thinking about the fireball, he stopped completely. He just stood still looking at the youth, small tears rolled down Zuhn's face.

Although Zuhn was supposed to stay calm and not break his act. He completely broke down after seeing the youth's face.

Zuhn's body was still lying in the middle of the cell. Na Yu called over multiple members of the army to protect the prison. While the army was protecting Zuhn, she was walking herself to the center of the sect.

She wanted to speak to Liu Lihua about the situation at the prison. She has never faced someone that was this powerful. Along with him being powerful, the youth even spoke about her master.

She hasn't seen Zuhn Sheng in so many years. She still remembers the day he left to meditate. Liu Lihua has been worrying for Zuhn to return for multiple years.

Dou s.h.i.+ talked to Na Yu prior to the situation at the prison. He talked about how he thought that their master wasn't going to come back. Na Yu didn't agree with Dou s.h.i.+. Only because she agreed with Liu Lihua. If Liu Lihua was still optimistic that she was going to be.

Na Yu walked for a couple more minutes before she reached the center of the sect. The building was surrounded by multiple guards, the guards were very high cultivation based.

Most of the guards were the peak of gold, while others were Martial Sky. All of the guards around the center building where all the original members of the sect.

They were one of the first people to create the sect with Zuhn. All of the guards were highly skilled from fighting the Demons in the war ten years ago.

The guards quickly opened the gate to let Na Yu inside. Na Yu made her way to Liu Lihua's room. Two guards stood outside and bowed slightly when Na Yu came into their view.

Na Yu opened the door, inside was Liu Lihua sitting at her desk surrounded by papers. Some papers fell on the floor, Na Yu noticed that Liu Lihua wasn't herself.

Walking closer, Na Yu saw that Liu Lihua's eyes were bright red. Na Yu looked down at the ground before speaking to Liu Lihua.

"Liu..."

Liu Lihua looked up and had a stern look on her face. Her eyes turned back normal, her face turned serious.

"Yes, What is it, Na Yu?"

"A new recruit of the sect made a little bit of trouble in the city. He got into a fight with inner core disciples. If I haven't arrived they would have died. He's not being locked in prison."

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Well… There is a bit more to this story. The outer core disciple is named Ju Sheng. Once we put him in prison, he started to speak about our master."

Liu Lihua's face turned from serious to confused.

'How would some random outer disciple know about her master?'

"Right after saying master's name he collapsed on the floor. When my men went inside to check on him. They were all sent flying by a weird force."

Liu Lihua stood up from her desk.

Zuhn wiped the tears off his face. The youth he was looking at him looked very familiar. Though, Zuhn couldn't figure out who the person was.

"You should be seeing your first ever friend..."

Suddenly, Zuhn remembered who the youth was. The youth he was seeing was the first person he met when he was younger. His name was John.

John was Zuhn's childhood friend, he was also like Zuhn. They both liked to kill things. At first, they killed small animals like birds, rabbits etc.

Though, once they got older they started to kill bigger animals. Zuhn felt attached to John because they liked the same things.

One day, Zuhn was waiting for John at their local park. Sadly, he never showed up. Zuhn waited for a couple of hours before returning home. His parents at the time told him that John was arrested for killing his whole family.

Zuhn didn't feel bad at all for John killing his parents. Zuhn remembered that John always talked about killing people. John always wanted to know what it felt like.

Zuhn and John talked for countless hours the day before about how they would kill someone. Though, it turns out that John actually killed his whole family after the conversation.

Zuhn's foster parents told him about what happened. John came home after playing with Zuhn the night before. John took one of the kitchen knives and waited for his family to fall asleep.

John then went to his sister's room. Slitting her throat, making her have a peaceful death. While his parents had a brutal death. John walked into his parent's room with blood on his T-s.h.i.+rt.

He got his parents attention and told them that his sister got hurt. Of course, his parents got up in a hurry and went to their daughter's room. John followed them slowly when they got into the room he closed the door behind them.

When his parents saw what happened to their daughter, his mom rushed over trying to save her. While his dad turned around and saw John.

John was standing with a large grin on his face. He stood still with a large knife in his hand. Blood still dripped off the knife, falling onto the floor.

His dad quickly tried to calm John down, but John didn't respond. He slowly walked forward, getting closer and closer to his dad. His dad did the last thing he could do, he tried to grab the knife out of John's hands.

When his dad reached for the knife John slashed a couple of times. Slashes his dad's face multiple times. John's dad backed up giving up on the idea to grab the knife.

Though, it was too late. John started to repeatedly stab his dad. His dad hit the wall and started to slowly fall down. Leaving blood on the wall, John kept stabbing sending blood all over his body.

John stabbed his dad in total thirty-six times. John then looked over to his mom, his mom was still terrified at what her son was doing. She didn't stop him from doing any more.

She just stared at him as he walked closer. Tears rolled down her eyes, John stabbed the knife right into her heart. She fell forward, the knife was still in her heart.

Once she hit the ground, the knife went deeper into her body killing her in seconds. Once John finished killed all of his family, he opened the door and took a shower.

He got a fresh new change of clothes and went to sleep. The next day he went to school like it was normal. What John didn't know, was his grandparents were coming over the next day.

Meaning, after John left for school his grandparents found the families bodies. When the police arrived, they found out that the house had security cameras. They saw the whole killing on camera.

AN : Listen I have no idea why someone would have a camera in one's room. But let's just say there was to make this all make sense.

After the police found out that John killed the family, they stormed his school and arrested him.

Zuhn let out a long breath after remembering the story.

"d.a.m.n, that looked like that was an intense flashback there."

The youth in front of Zuhn laughed and turned his face back to normal.
