Rebirth Of A Serial Killer 79 Slaughter Of The Old Kingdom

Several hours after Zuhn killed two of the ten numbered knights, almost every member of the military was on a hunt to find him.

Four more of the numbered knights along with multiple squads of elite men searched the capital to find Zuhn. Wanted posters were put up around the town, not many people have seen his face but there was a rough sketch.

An older man sat on a golden throne, in front of him was two knights. The two knights in front of him were the numbers two and three knights. These two knights were the king's personal guards, they were in charge of protecting him.

A man wearing silver armor walked into the throne room. The man had a mask over his face, the mask had a sick looking smile that gave off a terrifying vibe.

"Update?"

"Yes, My king. We have solid evidence that the a.s.sailant has left the capital."

"Left the capital?"

"Yes, My King."

The king stood up and started to calp in joy.

"Yes! Yes! Good, Good. You can leave."

The man in silver armor bowed and left the throne room.

The king looked at his personal guards.

"Did you guys hear that? He's gone!"

The two knights hid their faces under their helmets trying not to offend the king.

In the slums of the capital, a man with a black cloak stood on top of a rooftop. Blood covered his hand and a devilish smile on his face.

Zuhn looked out over the town, watching the many knights and soldiers that were running throughout the town looking for him.

Several hours after watching the ants below Zuhn run around. The amount of soldiers dwindled down to little to no one.

The sun started to slowly set, Zuhn looked down at the many regular knights along with soldiers.

"Time For The Hunt!"

Zuhn jumped off the roof he was standing on and searched for soldiers of the kingdom. Lights in the capital just started to light up, dusk brought a whole new meaning to stealth.

Zuhn shot throughout the capital looking for people to kill, after a couple of minutes Zuhn found a small sentry. The sentry was made up of four regular soldiers.

"Charles, why are we even out here?"

"Florence, Like I told you and everyone else. Even though the man already left the capital, we still have to keep watch for anything else."

*Klink*

The four soldiers stopped and looked in front of them. There was a small knife on the ground. The four soldiers all pulled out their longswords.

"Who's there!"

"Guaawl"

"Charles!"

The man on the left fell to the ground, blood poured out of his mouth and nose. A large stab wound was found on his neck.

*Klink*

The man on the right fell to the ground, blood soaked the ground.

"Florence we need to leave!"

Before Florence could answer, Florence was stabbed in the neck. With the dagger still in his neck, he fell down. Blood poured into the streets, along with the other two men's blood.

"f.u.c.k! Come out you bast"

Before the man could finish his sentence he died. Now the sentry was killed in a couple of seconds. They didn't know what they were attacked by. All they know is that they were attacked by someone.

'That was quite easy… Next.'

Zuhn ran on the rooftops that hung over the main part of the capital. Several sentries were walking around the outer edge. Each time Zuhn past them, he would kill them.

Not anything too extreme, just killing them the fastest way he could. Soon word came around to the military that someone has been killing people on the outer edges of the town.

This caused the military to become on alert and sent multiple people to the outer part of the city. This is just what Zuhn wanted, he wanted more and more people to come to the outer city.

Right on daybreak, hundreds of soldiers rushed into the outer part of the town. Zuhn happily sat on top of a nearby roof and watched the men scatter in.

When the men were all inside, Zuhn snapped his fingers. Below him, all of the soldiers started to burn alive. Their iron suits started to melt off their bodies.

Soon, the floor of the outer city was covered in iron and blood. Zuhn was laughing while watching the remaining soldiers try to survive being burned alive.

*Boom*

A small church exploded into several small pieces in front of Zuhn. A huge armored knight appeared floating in the air. Zuhn took out his weapons and looked at the knight floating in the air.

"You!"

The knight had a lance in his hand and pointed it at Zuhn. Zuhn knew that flying magic was a thing, but never knew that someone from this world would be able to use it.

With a quick flick of his hand, Zuhn sent a few small fireb.a.l.l.s at the knight.

Before the fireb.a.l.l.s. .h.i.t the knight, a small s.h.i.+eld formed in front of his body. The s.h.i.+eld absorbed all of the fireb.a.l.l.s that were targeting the knight.

The knight laughed under his breath before the s.h.i.+eld disappeared again.

"Haha! Those two knights died to someone like you?"

Zuhn stayed calm and just let the knight keep on talking. Zuhn didn't know for sure what cultivation rank the man was. Though, Zuhn knew that he was higher than the other knights he has faced thus far.

Remembering back, that one girl he met when he first got here… She was quite wrong about the most powerful person in this world. Zuhn let off a small smile before jumping towards the knight.

"Whoa! You can jump far!"

The knight held his lance in front of him and rushed forward. Zuhn has never fought someone with this type of weapon. He didn't really know how to deal with the knight in front of him.

With the knight coming forward fast, Zuhn just used a small spell that created barriers around his body.

"Four Layers Of Light!"

Four magical barriers formed around Zuhn, the barrier was hard to see from far away. But up close they were quite obvious and gave off a mystical glow.

The knight's lance struck the s.h.i.+eld with incredible force. The lance's power broke through the first, second and third layer stopping at the fourth. Just from the force alone caused Zuhn to fly back into a nearby building.

The impact of hitting the building caused Zuhn to cough up a slight amount of blood. The knight stood in the sky laughing and looking where Zuhn was.

'd.a.m.n, that's powerful.'

Zuhn slowly got up from the rumble and quickly brought out the magical book he got from the creator of the realm. Inside he looked for the chapter named 'Spells'.

Even though Zuhn knew countless magical spells, he didn't think they were capable of dealing with an enemy like the one in front of him. Searching through the chapter, Zuhn found a spell named 'Thunderous Bolt'.

The 'Thunderous Bolt' was a Tier 4 spells. Zuhn didn't quite understand what Tiers were in the spelling world but would later read into it.

The 'Thunderous Bolt' sent a bolt of lightning with immense strength towards whatever you aim it at. Because the spell is such a high Tier it will do great damage to the target.

Zuhn got up from the rumbled and looked at the knight in the sky. Zuhn brought his hand up in front of him and aimed it at the knight.

"Thunderous Bolt!"

*Boom!*

In front of Zuhn almost in slow motion, the bolt went out of his hand and towards the knight in the sky. The knight didn't even have time to react before he was. .h.i.t with the bolt.

The knight fell out of the sky like a bird being shot out of the sky. The knight fell to the ground with his lance still in his hands.

Zuhn let out a long breath after using the spell. Even though Zuhn was quite strong, the spell he just used wasted a lot of his mana. Zuhn was out of breath after sending the bolt at the knight, he wasn't quite sure if he killed the knight or not.

Though before Zuhn got to confirm if he killed the knight, an arrow flew towards him. The arrow had a blue tip and when it hit Zuhn it caused coldness to flood his body.

A sharp pain hit Zuhn in his heart and head. Zuhn didn't have too much strength left from using such a strong spell on the knight. Zuhn tried to move his body but couldn't because of the ice.

A man in blue armor approached Zuhn's icicle of a body. Zuhn could barely see the man but knew the man had a lot of strength. If only he was at full power he would be able to break out of the ice.

Even though Zuhn was covered in ice, he was still able to hear the people outside of the ice.

"Tell the king that the intruder killed the 3rd knight and I captured him in my ice."

The man in the blue armor walked up to Zuhn and looked in the ice at Zuhn's face.

"You… Are quite strong being able to kill someone at Martial Sky King..."

'Martial Sky King?'

The knight that he just killed was at Martial Sky King? That would explain the power the man was giving off, but Martial Sky King was close to Zuhn's cultivation rank.

When Zuhn entered the realm, he was suppressed to the Martial Sky Realm. Though from all of the battles he's been fighting, his strength has increased to Martial Sky Emperor.

Meaning the man in front of him right now is most likely in the Martial Sky Emperor Realm.

'Strong'

"Listen, intruder, Don't try anything funny. I know you are strong, but if you try and break out of my ice. I will be forced to kill you, and with someone as strong as you, I don't want to do that."

Zuhn closed his eyes at the man's words. Causing the man to sigh and turned around and walk away from the ice. The man must have known that Zuhn was going to try and break the ice. Because the man walked back and signed for several soldiers to walk outside.

The soldiers were fairly strong, each of the soldiers was Silver ranked.

"Mhm..."

Zuhn was going to have to wait quite a while before he is able to move. His mana was almost fully drained from the attack he used. Closing his eyes, Zuhn fell asleep.

Unknown Amount Of Time Later…

Zuhn opened his eyes to find himself in some sort of room. The ice that was previously around him had changed colored to red. Also, it wasn't ice anymore. Red crystal was surrounding Zuhn, at that the Red Crystals were very strong.

Zuhn had all of his mana back, including a lot more. When Zuhn checked his body he was back to his original cultivation when he entered the realm. Meaning he jumped up a cultivation rank while he was asleep.

With all of his force, Zuhn broke the red crystal that was encasing him. When Zuhn broke the crystal he could barely move his body, he was cramped all over.

After a couple of minutes of stretching, Zuhn was able to walk around. The room around him was like that of a museum. Several artifacts were displayed on the walls around him.

In front of him was a sign that read, "Mysterious Man" The description read that "A Man locked away in Red Mythical Crystal after killing countless Knights of the Old Red Kingdom."

'Old Red Kingdom?'

Zuhn walked farther away from where he once was increased by the red crystal. Gems and other small weapons hung on the walls around him. When Zuhn used his golden eyes, everything s.h.i.+ned brightly to him.

Everything on the wall was real, they all had magical power. And not any kind of power, extreme power. Each of the artifacts was giving off enough power to launch Zuhn into the next Realm.

When Zuhn went to go grab one of the artifacts he was. .h.i.t with a small shock and pushed back from the artifact. A loud alarm sounded above his head, a bright blue light blinked in the room.

Zuhn heard several people rus.h.i.+ng into the room. Zuhn looked all around him and saw many people. The people he saw weren't wearing armor or anything.

They were wearing regular clothing and some of the people had their hands in the air ready to cast spells. Zuhn reached for the weapons that he had before he was. .h.i.t with the ice arrow.

Zuhn was shocked to find out he still had his two daggers on him.

"Wait!"

Everyone in the room stopped and looked towards the voice, including Zuhn.

"Slaughter Of The Old Kingdom."

The man was quite young, he was wearing a black suit. Along with black hair and black eyes. The man had a strange sense of power flowing off him.

The other people that were around him also had a strange power. The power they had wouldn't even let Zuhn's eyes look at them. Meaning they were more powerful than Zuhn by tens of folds.
