The Writer's Romance 20 Wrong Move

"Sir Gerwyn, your mother is waiting for you at her office," one of the securities at the Mansion of Lee's right after he opened the door for Gerwyn.

Wyn just nodded and gave his coat to one of the maids.

He immediately went upstairs to his mother's office, he already knows what this is about.

"Mother," he greeted the old woman who has a very strict appearance with her pearls around her neck.

"Glad you came today, I thought I will be seeing you in my funeral with all the 'not-coming-home' thing you keep on doing," she said while standing up to pour tea for Wyn.

"I am sorry," Wyn said while sitting down on a couch facing his mother.

His voice was apologetic and tough at the same time, he does not want to be afraid of his mother like before.

She can't dictate his life anymore which is why he left their house.

"I know that you know why I called you here," she gave the tea to Wyn then went back to her table and sits.

She intertwined her fingers and let her chin rests on them.

She looks relaxed but she wants everything out.

"Sierra Haley Eureka Ellaine Neomi Verrez? What a long name," She smiles before looking at Wyn with sharp eyes.

"Yes, I decided to be her fiance and I won't back down whatever you say, whatever they say, I will marry her," Wyn sips his tea then looked at his mother's eye directly.

"If you say so," she said before returning on reading files on her desk.

Startled with how her mother reacted, Wyn stands up, "What? That's it"

He was expecting for her to fight with him about Sheen, that she wants him to leave her and to stop what he is doing since that is what she keeps on doing before whenever he does something that she does not like.

"What? I like her, remember that movie, 'The Day I Met Mei', she's the writer, right? And it reminds me so much of your sister," she continues on reading, "I love her work that means I like her, so that's fine, I'm also dying to meet her."

Wyn just stands there while holding his tea.

"Rea..lly?" He asks while watching her, he suddenly noticed Sheen's book on his mother's desk.

"Yes, so hurry up and marry her and give me grandchildren," she still did not look at Wyn, but he can clearly see her smile.

"You may go," she said.

Wyn just slowly walks out the room before remembering about the cup which made him turn back and leaves the cup on his mother's desk, "Thank you," he said before walking away.

"Kady, what are you thinking when you asked about Sheen's medical report? Are you crazy, Wyn heard you and he already told the hospital about your plans and obviously, they won't give it to us even with how much amount of money!" Blue exclaimed while walking back and forth in Kady's office.

"I'm going to kill that rodent," Kady whispers, "Anyways, have you seen Sheen around?"

"No, I think she's planning on resigning, I heard his friend, Lucy," Blue stops walking and sits.

"What? Why?" Kady then started to dial Sheen's department.

"Maybe because... of you," Blue rolls his eyes, "Duh?"

The other line picked up, "Yes, Mr. President?"

"I want Lucy Green in my office NOW," Kady looked so annoyed that Blue left to talk to Lucy before she comes in to make her have a briefing of what Kady wants.

If there's one thing that Kady is really bad at, it's hiding his anger and keeping his patience and he can't let other people know about it especially now that he's the president.

"Hey, Lucy!" Blue raised his right hand when he saw Lucy walking towards him to Kady's office.

"Hi, what does he want?" Lucy already knows about Kady's att.i.tude because of Sheen, but of course, she can't let other people know about that.

"Well, just tell him that you talked with Sheen and that she's planning to resign and if he asks why, tell him you don't know," Blue answered while keeping the smile to hide that Kady's being a kid.

"Ah, yeah, she's not really planning to," Lucy smiles, "She IS resigning, she just waits for the university to accept her application."

"WHAT?" Blue suddenly shouts, "WHAT DID YOU SAY?"

"Whatever, I'm telling Mr. President, and if he will ever annoy me, I'm definitely telling Sheen," she smiles before entering the room, Blue tried to stop her but she's already inside.

"No, sorry" Sheen replied to Wyn's invitation of dinner with his family.

"I'm leaving tomorrow and this has to stop," Sheen said before turning off her phone and looked at the Job Acceptance Letter she just got.

"Finally, I'm going to start again," she breathes in deep and smiled.

"So, you want help with your things? When are you going to start packing? I can't believe that the company wants you as soon as possible!" Bea brought Sheen's luggage.

"Yeah, can you fold the clothes in my closet and out them there, those are my working clothes, I'll get my other luggage," Sheen stands up from her bed and went out her room leaving her phone open.

"Oh~ what's in here?" Bea saw it and started to read what Wyn was saying, "WHAT? WHY NO?" She shouted and ran to Sheen who's taking her luggage out the storage room.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY NO?" Bea asked while showing Sheen her phone.

"What are you doing?" Sheen's brow furrows and took her phone from Bea's hand.

"Go! I mean, I know you are angry with what happened, but Wyn, he's sincere to you, he's kind, whenever you're around him, you're happy," Bea pouts.

"No, I am not, stop doing that face it's ugly," Sheen pulls her luggage while Bea follows.

"He's introducing you to his family, that means he's serious with you, I will talk to the company to give you more time so you can go," they entered Sheen's room and Bea sits on Sheen's bed.

"No, I already replied to the company and I said I will be there tomorrow, if you still want to stay longer here, you can, I will send my resignation later," Sheen started bring her clothes out her closet and puts them beside Bea.

"What~ come on, it's Wyn! You said you like him right?" Bea started to fold Sheen's clothes and then putting them in the luggage.

"I know, but, he's still part of the most disastrous event in my life. I can't just let him stay in my new life," Sheen feels hurt for saying that, "and I will stop writing the book."

The wind blows Sheen's hair, making it cover her face, "It's reminding me of those things, that I need to win, that Wyn's my main character and that the story was mostly created by Wyn because it says so much about what is happening to me, it's like when he entered my life, that was when everyone started to play me, and I hate it. I hate him."

"No, girl. You're being annoying right now. You like him and now you hate him, are you stupid? Can you clear your feelings? It's getting out of hand. You can't make a decision with that thinking."
