The Writer's Romance 22 The Start 1

"WELCOME TO STAR COMPANY, MISS VERREZ!"

Sheen and Bea just arrived from the airport and went directly to the company.

Everyone greeted them in the entrance of the building, they bowed when they saw Sheen immediately.

"Wow," Bea got shocked with how the company prepared this greeting for Sheen.

"I heard the boss is a big fan of your books, Sheen. Maybe that's why there's this," Bea pointed to the group of people in front of them.

Sheen can't hide her smile.

This is a great start for her new life.

Suddenly the people in front of them step aside when three men in a black suit walking towards them.

"Oh~ here's the boss!" Bea exclaimed then ran towards the men.

"Good afternoon, Boss!" She greeted the man in the middle with a wide smile.

His appearance screams authority.

With the professional outfit and slicked back black hair, Sheen can't stop herself imagining plotlines for a male protagonist with that demeanor.

"Sheen!" Bea shouts, she did not recognize that she's been staring at the President for too long that he was already staring at her as well.

"Gosh," she whispers while she tucks her hair behind her ears and was about to take her luggage with her when the two men with the president took it, "Miss, we'll take care of this," they said while carrying her luggage.

One of the benefits of the company is they will be the one who will give you a place to stay if you're not around their location.

She was planning to stay with Bea but she realized that Bea brings her boyfriend in her house which makes Sheen back-out since she'll be in an awkward situation someday, making her accept the place the company gave her.

She began walking towards Bea and her heart started pounding without any reason, 'Am I nervous? I've met numerous high positioned people before, why am I getting nervous?' she thought while clenching her fist.

With every step, she slowly looked at the president who is looking directly into her eyes the moment she looked at him, and now that she's near, 'G.o.d, how can you make someone this s.e.xy?' she thought.

Bea smirks with how Sheen's face is reacting to the Boss' look.

'd.a.m.n, girl. You got caught!' Bea knows Sheen's type. It's what she writes on her books. It just goes around s.e.xy and angelic. Wyn's angelic, Kady's s.e.xy, and her Boss is 1000x s.e.xier than Kady.

'Ah, she's gotten thin,' Clark thought when Sheen stops in front of him.

He gulps then clear his throat, signaling Bea to introduce him to Sheen.

"Ah! Sorry, Boss. Sheen, this is Mr. Clark White. Boss, this is Sierra Haley Eureka Ellaine Verrez or --"

"Sheen," Clark cuts off Bea.

"Yes," Bea can't hide her smirk.

'Finally, you find your one and only friend before!' She thought.

Clark was the 'old friend' Sheen had when they were very young before Kady and Blue.

He was the forgotten friend that Sheen loved before anyone else.

When Sheen was taken by her relatives, they weren't able to see each other often and it later went to not seeing each other anymore.

It was just when Sheen sent her application that Clark remembered her and contacted Bea which is why she's being silly with all her smirks.

Sheen can't pinpoint but Mr. White just makes her nostalgic for some reason she doesn't know.

"Ms. Verrez, we are honored to be chosen by a very famous writer. Please follow me," Mr. White said while turning back, "Bea, you can go home now, we'll take care of Ms. Verrez."

Sheen looked at Bea with a worried look, "Don't leave me," she whispers while clinging to Bea's arms.

"You'll be fine," Bea took her luggage while smiling at Sheen, "You may not know what will happen if you don't follow boss. He's waiting," she smirks once again while looking at Sheen who took a glance behind her.

Mr. White is standing patiently while waiting for Sheen.

"Go, you'll be alright. Just call me later," Bea then walked towards the exit with the smirk on her face, 'I can't wait for this love story to bloom!' she thought without taking in consideration of Wyn or Kady or Blue.

Sheen and Bea see them as part of the past that needs to be erased.

'This is my start,' Sheen thought while walking towards Mr. White.

"Sorry, Sir," she said while walking a bit behind the President.

"No worries," he answered without looking at Sheen.

'Where did I see you? I know I saw you somewhere,' she thought while putting her hands on her chin to think.

The gla.s.s wall of the building lets the sunset's rays inside, coloring the hallway with bright red-orange color.

"Stop staring at me," Mr. White suddenly said.

Sheen was really staring at him to remember where she saw him and when; making her embarra.s.sed and blushed.

She then saw the sunset making her feel awe.

"Wow," she whispered.

They were the only ones on the hallway and the President's office is very near.

But when Mr. White saw Sheen's face, full of amazement and beauty, he stops walking.

He just watches her smile slowly grew as the sun sets down.

It took about three minutes before it was completely dark and Sheen got back to the reality of what is happening.

She looked at Mr. White then bowed, "I am so sorry, Sir."

Mr. White just stands there beside her, watching the stars waking up.

"No problem, it was beautiful," he smiled while remembering Sheen's smile while watching the sunset.
