The Writer's Romance 36 Breakfast Is Ready!

Sheen went back to her condominium when Cj fell asleep and a.s.sured that Mr. White's feeling better.

She got the habit of staying up all night and only sleeping for four hours since she got here.

While reading a book on her couch, she suddenly felt the urge to go out and buy groceries for Cj's breakfast.

Her fridge is almost empty as well.

'Why do I feel excited in making Cj breakfast?' she closed the book and placed it close to her chest.

It's true that her life s.h.i.+fted 360 degrees when she arrived and started working in Mr. White's company.

She suddenly had a 'son' and she unbelievably confronted a woman for the first time in her life.

She does feel guilty for whatever happened to the woman, but she deserves it.

Mr. White won't do unnecessary things just because he feels like it.

The lights almost blinded her when she looked up sighing.

Even though her life is different from before, sometimes she still thinks of the past, of the people who are in her past.

'Kady..' she thought, clenching her fist and grinding her teeth from the pain in her chest.

She took a deep breath and exhaled.

She suddenly remembered what they talked about.

'I love you,' she smirks.

Her smirks suddenly became laughs then her laugh became tears as her lips tremble.

'Why did it took you that long to say that?'

Her screams from her voiceless mourns made her fall on the couch.

'You're so late.'

She remembered what she suffered from when Kady left,

how she lost herself,

how she lost him.

She clings to a string that can't even carry her heavy feelings while waiting for him.

Until her love got acquainted with anger.

She longed for him.

As she tries to wipe her endless tears, her phone suddenly rang.

She did not even bother to look at it and she just answered it immediately.

"Yes?"

"Sheen..."

The voice.

It's him.

She wanted to turn the call off but her body won't listen and it just stayed like that, listening to him.

She missed his voice.

Though, his voice sounds like he's... longing for her when he called her name.

"I miss you," he said.

Her sobs suddenly went out, but she covered her mouth immediately.

Her tears that she wanted to wipe earlier went streaming once again.

But now, it seems like flood is forming in her eyes.

"I'm sorry, I must've interrupted your sleep," his voice sounds like he's crying as well.

But his words aren't that clear.

'Is he drunk?' she thought while clinging to the time that Kady's talking to her.

"I'm... uh, are you doing fine? Is the company treating you well? Hahaha!"

Kady really is drunk.

He's been like that since Sheen left.

There was not a single day that he's not drinking.

And now, he can't take it anymore.

He decided to call her.

But he's not thinking clear and he probably won't remember calling Sheen tomorrow.

"Yes," her voice might reveal her tears so she kept it short.

"Is that so... then, can you come visit me sometime? Blue has a girlfriend already and everyone is busy. Cha's wedding will be next month, I hope I'll see you there."

'Why are you like this? You seem like a different person. You sound like you.'

Since she saw Kady in the company, she realized that he changed.

He got serious, strict and scary sometimes, maybe it's one of the reasons she hates him.

He used to be serious before but he was never scary or strict.

He speaks out and he let people know about his feelings in a very hard way but Sheen always understands his feelings.

But as time goes by he distance himself.

He kept everything to himself until he left.

"Yeah," she wipes her tears.

"Kady, can you tell me what happened to us?"

Sheen sits up. She knows that Kady is not in his right mind and he won't remember what he's doing right now.

It's a good thing to understand what happened between them.

"You just left, you leave me behind."

She bites her lips as she remembers how she cried that time.

"I... I was only trying to help you. I thought if I left, your relatives will stop bothering you but I was wrong, they got worse. I was wrong, they hurt you even more and blamed their crimes to you. I know that you.... really love me when you confessed. But I wanted to help you ever since we met, I want you to be free so I didn't listen to your feelings, I even used Cha."

She stands up and went near the window and opened it.

The breeze was cold.

It was so cold that it made her skin numb.

"I am sorry. I know I made things confusing and you hated me. I know. I know everything. That's why it took me so long to go back to you, I gathered my strength but I didn't know that I acted different whenever it's you. I suddenly grow cold and distant but I want to have you, I want you."

Sheen smiles.

How she longed for those words.

"I am sorry, uh, I need to go."

The call suddenly dropped.

He just turned off the call without waiting for her reply.

"I... wanted you too," her last tear fell down.

Even though he said his part on what happened between them, it still felt as if it's not that simple.

The morning is still not kind to her.

She woke up on the couch.

Her phone is still on her hand.

"Ugh, what time is it?"

She checked her phone and good thing it's still early.

She can buy groceries for 15 minutes and then cook breakfast.

She took a shower and went to the grocery store to buy ingredients and vegetables.

"I think Cj does not despise vegetables," she was thinking of making fried rice with peas, carrots and eggs on her way on her apartment.

She then started cooking the moment she went in her kitchen.

She also fried hotdogs and chocolate drinks.

Coffee might worsen Mr. White's conditions so she stayed away from it.

'Phew,' she puts on her shoes while carrying the food and drinks.

"It's number 8008, right?"

She tried to remember the number of Mr. White's condominium which is just two rooms from hers.

"I hope they don't go out that early or else I might be late in making this," she then press the alarm in the door.

"Good morning, Sir."

Mr. White was the one who answered it.

"Why are you here?"

His voice, as always, seemed he does not like her presence but he's just embarra.s.sed that he just woke up.

Cj is still sleeping and Mr. White looks like he was really in pain.

She convinced him to change his clothes to his pajama before she left last night.

"I... cooked breakfast," she enters the room, following Mr. White inside.

He stops walking, Sheen too.

Now that Mr. White's wearing normal clothes.

She suddenly flushed red.

'He looks so... s.e.xy!' she thought.

His white tight cotton s.h.i.+rt gives emphasis to his abs and his arms.

His blue cotton pajama screams his long s.e.xy legs and his...

'Wait! Why am I looking at his b.u.t.t? I never thought I liked b.u.t.t before...' she giggled.

"Why?" Mr. White turns around.

But she saw her giggling, making him embarra.s.sed once again.

'Do I look weird in this clothes? Is my hair messy? Is there something in my face?'

Sheen saw Mr. White's bothered expression.

"Uh, because I... uh, I promised--"

"BREAKFAST!!! YEY!"

Cj went down the stairs screaming from his room.

His hands were even high in the air while running towards Sheen and hugged her.

"She said she will cook breakfast for us because it's bad for me to eat in IED every morning."

Cj, took the bag and brought it to the kitchen.

"I'm sorry, Sir, if I didn't wait for your permission, I was just worried for--"

She was looking down while talking but when she looked up to Mr. White's face, he was painted red all over his face even though he was covering it with his hand.

'Aw, he's shocked,' she smiles.

"Breakfast is ready, Sir. Let's eat!" She walks pa.s.s him with a smile.

'I guess no one prepared him breakfast before.'

Cj's preparing the table while Sheen takes out the food.

It's true that since Mr. White went away from Sheen, there was no one to prepare him breakfast even until Cj arrived.

It's his first time to have someone cook for him.

"Thank you," he whispers while looking at Sheen talking with Cj.

Sheen took a quick glance at Mr. White and saw him smiling while looking at her making her blush.

Cj noticed this and smirks.

'Ah~ I can't wait for you to be my true mommy!' he thought.

'Wait, why am I feeling this way? He's my boss, get your mind right, Sheen!'

She tried to look at Mr. White again, but her body looked the other way the moment her eyes met Mr. White's.

'This can't be,' she mutters.

"Hm? Fried rice?" Mr. White sits beside Cj.

"Huh? I was not able to think more about breakfast since I too, do not eat breakfast so I can't think of better thing to cook, I am sorry,"

Sheen looks down while holding her fork and spoon.

"What? No, I mean, I never ate fried rice before, why are you apologizing?"

Mr. White took a bite while looking at Sheen.

'Why do you make me confuse all the time?' She bites her lips while Cj giggles beside them.

"Don't we look like a happy family?" Cj smiles while munching on his food.

Mr. White and Sheen looked at each other and then they both look the other way while blus.h.i.+ng.

Cj even smiles bigger, 'This is the best morning I ever had!'
