"First off, I didn't tell you to buy these..." Bea gestures to the flowers all around the room where they will be celebrating the wedding reception, "Flowers. You know that I am not a big fan of flowers. It should've been something like paintings and arts, right?"

Dan nods with his lips flattened to show as if Bea's right, "But," he started and held Bea's shoulders, "You ordered the flowers because you suddenly wanted to change your mind about arts and craft themed reception."

Bea looks at him mortified about the fact, "Did I?" She pointed to herself.

Dan nodded and sighed.

"Well..." Bea looks away, looking lost, "I don't know what to do. I suddenly saw this flowery reception and I thought that everyone prefers pretty than crafty."

Dan furrowed his brows, "What? This is because you want people to like the theme? Not because you like it?"

Bea nodded guiltily, "Yeah."

Dan looks at her intentively, trying to go through her mind, "Okay, I know what people will say is quite important for you. But remember what, the most important thing is that you love your own wedding."

"Dan's right!" Blue appeared while holding paints and canvas with Sheen, Wyn Kady and Elgeen followed by Cj who's running to catch up.

"We decided that we will finish decorating for the reception today. So, this is the place?" Elgeen looks around the vast room with cla.s.s windows which shows the greenery background of a forest where the city lies behind it.

"Yeah, this is the first floor, you can go down if you want to see the view. There's also a pool and a garden," Bea excitedly ran to Elgeen and Sheen to hug them.

"There's a pool?" Cj asks Dan and went running to the gla.s.s to see what's in the lower floor.

"Yeah, do you want to swim?" Dan asks.

"Nah, I'll do that some other time. I promised Mommy that I'll help."

Blue looks around and saw the long tables on the other side, with tons of flowers on it.

The lights are already hanging from the ceiling.

The drapes are already fixed to add taste and art.

"Well, this is far from ready," Kady commented as he looks around as well.

"Yeah, I thought you said it only needs a fixing?" Elgeen looks at Bea.

"Yeah..." Bea sighs, "But I can't decide on what theme I will use."

Elgeen and Sheen look at each other, "Arts and Crafts?"

"Uh yeah," Dan puts his hand on his chin and looks at the flowers, "She's kind of wanting to have this flowery theme."

"Flowers?" Sheen looks at Bea, "What? Really? You're not that girly. I was honestly thinking you'd go with some cosplay and uhm, automobile theme."

"Bea's into that?" Elgeen asks.

"Yeah, she's kind of one of the boys actually. She just hides it well, and that is how Dan and Bea met actually," Sheen answers.

"Really? Tell me how!" Elgeen excitedly jumps around.

"Yeah, no idea how these two met," Blue crosses his arms and looks at Bea with a smirk to tease her.

"Anyways, you tell them, Sheen. I'll grab something to eat, or you want to go down?" Bea asks while pointing at the stairs.

Everyone nodded and left their things for decorations.

"I really didn't know he bought a house and I thought it could use a good crowd so I decided to do the reception here," Bea said as they go down the stairs while everyone admired the view.

Cj ran to the couch and lays down, "I want some smoothie, Bea!"

Sheen laughs, "I can help you with the drinks and foods," she offered.

"No, just tell them how Dan and I met while I decide on what I will do for the reception. Cj, want to help the pregnant lady?"

Cj looks at Bea, "Ew. What if my tummy goes fat too?"

Bea replied with a sharp glare making Cj stand up.

"Okay, I know I won't go fat like that," Cj walks towards the kitchen where Bea is, "But can I have some smoothie, Aunt Aria made me drink a bitter tea yesterday."

Wyn and the others went out to the garden and saw the city behind a few trees which are planted below the house.

"It's great that this house is located on a hill, you can view the whole city, you can have nature beside you, wow," Elgeen commented as she sits down on a patio.

Blue looks at her, "Want something like this?" he asks.

"Honestly, Clark bought all the houses in this hill and I just happen to buy this house for half the price. You should ask him if you can buy the other houses so we can all be neighbors," Dan said.

Sheen's eyes went huge, "You mean like he almost owns this hill?"

Dan nods his head, "He said you like this kind of view and he can't decide which house you want so... yeah."

Elgeen smirks and looks at Sheen weirdly, teasing her.

"Well, should we start the love story of Dan and Bea?" Sheen clears her throat and looks away from Elgeen's teasing eyes.

"Yes, why not," Kady laughs and sits down with the others.

Sheen clears her throat and recalls as to how Bea told her how they met, "Dan help me in some parts."

Dan nodded and smiled.

"So, it all starts on a vintage car exhibit." Sheen started.

"Bea was working on a different publis.h.i.+ng company that time and she was working about the event, while Dan..." Sheen looks at Dan to continue the story.

"Well, I was with Boss, Clark, since I was his a.s.sistant at that time. He's quite a vintage car enthusiast and I think, Sheen, you don't know but he has a vintage car museum, it's located in the next city." Dan wiggles his eyebrows at Sheen.

"Really? Well, I hope I can go there someday," Sheen smiled.

"Yeah, he usually goes there when he's bored. But since you're here, I think he never gets bored anymore. But, back to the story," Dan laughs and leans on the chair.

While Bea and Cj are talking about the theme of the reception, "We bought tons of paints to make an artsy reception, Bea." Cj pointed out while sitting on the counter while Bea pours the smoothie to the gla.s.s.

"I know, and you know, we can mix flowers and paintings. Though it's kinda girly, it might also help me surprise Dan for the gender reveal."

Cj took a grape and eats it while looking confused.

"Don't tell anyone, you're the first one who'll know," Bea whispers, "The baby's a girl."

Cj's mouth opened wide with his lost eyes.

"Cj?" Bea called, "Are you okay?"

From a shocked expression, Cj pouts and goes down the counter.

"Hey," Bea softly grabs his arms, "It's fine. Were you expecting for a boy?"

Cj pokes Bea's tummy, "No, but that means everyone will love the baby more than me. Because girls always get more attention than boys."

Bea bends her knees, "What are you talking about? No one gets more attention than the other, okay? And we both know that you're smart. The baby will be like a younger sister to you, and yes, a baby does get more attention but that's because babies can't talk and as adults, we must see if they are alright."

Cj sighed, "Whatever, someday Mommy will be fat like you too and they'll have a baby. And I will have a younger brother or sister and they will get more attention than I do." As he tries to let out his feeling, tears suddenly stream down his eyes.

"What? No, Sheen and Boss will always love you no matter if you have a sibling. Okay? Are you... okay?" Bea asks as he pats Cj.

"Aunt Aria went to my school yesterday and she gave me tea. She said that Daddy will not like me anymore since I am not his real son and if Mommy gets married to him, they will both love their kids more than me," Cj whispers but as soon as he realizes what he said, he steps back and ran.

"Clark was looking for a car," Sheen continued, "And Dan was the one who saw this pink car where Bea was criticizing."

"And I saw her, staring deeply at the car. I approached her since she's the only one who was looking at it, and our conversation went like this:" Dan said.

"Pink is a very masculine color, don't you think?" Dan started, "And I looked at her, she was staring at me with dead, puffy red eyes. Her nose is red and her hair's a mess."

Everyone laughs, Sheen clears her throat and said: "She just broke up with her boyfriend that time."

"Yeah, so she just stared at me and I didn't know, she looks like a mess but really, she was beautiful."

Dan was reminiscing the moment when Blue clears his throat to make him continue the story.

"So, yeah. After some time, she opened her mouth but her voice was too loud and angry. She said: 'So what? Pink or not, that doesn't have to do with being feminine or masculine. What does color have to do with any one's gender ident.i.ty, huh? Do you like labeling people too? Such an a.s.s."

Sheen cuts off, "Yeah. Because she broke up with her bf because of her liking automobiles, batman, hero, stuff like a 'normal' guy would like. Her ex said that she's not girly enough."

Elgeen's eyes bulged out, "What? Just because of that?"

Sheen nodded and looked at Dan to make him continue.

"After her yelling at me, I just stared at her, confused. But she stared back at me too. After some minutes of staring contest, a tear streamed down from her eyes. I was so shocked that my initial reaction was to hug her. So I did," Dan laughs.

Blue snorted from Dan's cheesy storytelling.

Sheen decided to continue the story since Dan seemed to be imagining the old times.

"So after that, Bea realized that she's acting crazy but she didn't push Dan away. She hugged him tightly, saying: 'You're the only one who cared.' Because at that time I was too indulged at work and she can't take a break from work. And her workmates pretty much don't care about their co-workers. And she just let out all her feelings to a total stranger."

"Yes, after that we became friends and she decided to resign and apply to Star Company. It was hard to have her get in, but I told her that all she has to do was to show how pa.s.sionate she is to her career and boom, she got in. And I, your lovely groom, had my time to crawl to her heart." Dan said and sighed with a smile on his face.

"How you guys met, was crazy and weird. Like Bea just had the hunch that she can connect with you and let everything out," Elgeen's smile made Blue smile back at her, making her blush.

Kady clears his throat since he is sitting in between the two.

Wyn snorted and looks at Sheen.

Sheen, on the other hand, is staring at the city, thinking about how she and Clark saw each other for the second time.

She never felt so attracted to anyone before for a first meeting, without her knowing Clark was her childhood friend for that time, it was really weird that she already felt that her heart wasn't at ease.

It made her smile how she remembered her staring intently at Clark as he walks towards her during her arrival at the company for the first time.

Wyn sighed, "Alright, we have a lot to do so I think I should go and help Bea."

Dan looks at Wyn irritatedly and stands up, "I'll go with you."

Bea grabbed Cj's arms and pulls him into a hug, "Hush, Cj. Whatever Aria said, we can talk about it. But let me tell you," she said while patting Cj's back softly, "Sheen loves you so much and no matter what happens your Daddy and Mommy will always feel the same way."

"Oh, what now? You already made him cry, that's a first," Dan said as they approach the two.

"Nothing happened, I just didn't want to give him any sweets," Bea said and wipes Cj's tears.

Dan looks at her, he knows Cj, he's not a big fan of sweets and he will never cry over a petty reason.

"Why don't you two go out and we'll bring the foods outside," Dan a.s.sisted Bea to stand up while messing Cj's hair.

Bea and Cj went out, leaving Dan and Wyn alone.

Wyn went to the kitchen and grabbed the tray of sandwich but Dan stopped him and grabbed his collar, "I know your dirty secret and I will stop you from destroying the company. Even if you are his half-brother, even if you're Bea's friend, even if you're my friend."

Wyn just exhales and nodded, "Okay. Noted." He said and pulls Dan's hand away, "But, let's focus on your wedding first. I don't want to ruin this for Bea."

Dan grinds his teeth while glaring at Wyn, "You better not."
