The Writer's Romance 92 End's Near

"What's this?" Sheen asks while looking through a suspicious file on Clark's desk.

They've been busy with some meetings for the past days and even more with works that have to be distributed since Bea started taking her maternity leave.

After knowing that Clark knows everything that is happening around him, Sheen wasn't able to talk more about it, especially about Wyn being his half-brother or about how his sister is planning to destroy him.

"Louis, he sent me those files. He said Aria's working with someone on bribing our clients," Clark answered then dropped his pen on the papers he was reading, "It's Wyn," he said with a cold tone.

Sheen paused, 'Is this part of our plan?' she asks herself and went to check the files, "What? This many?"

"Yes," Clark nodded, "They stole that many clients and partners. Anyways, it won't cause a big impact, it's just troubling for the time being but we can handle. We just have to put an end with Aria's playtime."

Kady wasn't able to pull anything out of Aria's schemes, she's playing carefully. Wyn, on the other hand, rarely appears. He's always on his office, working.

"What about her husband? Your doctor?" Sheen hesitantly asks while putting the files down.

"Yes, we will talk later. He said he's suspecting Aria for the past days and he wants to know what is going on."

"He doesn't know?"

"I don't think so."

Sheen turns around and leans on the desk while Clark rests his head on the backrest.

"When will this end?" Sheen unconciously let out a deep sigh.

"It will," Clark said.

He stood up from his seat and went to corner Sheen on the desk, "It will and then we can talk about our wedding, don't worry."

"What about Cj? Next week's the start of his vacation, right?"

Sheen leans her head on Clark's chest, "What will we do?"

"He can stay with us here but I know he will get bored, what do you think?"

"If it's fine for you, we can send her to my Mom and Dad, our province is really nice. It has a lot of places to go and he can have a break from the city," Sheen suggested and went to hug Clark.

"I see. Talk to him later if he wants to. I'll let some of my men go with him just to be safe," Clark said and hugs Sheen.

"Can we stay like this forever?" Sheen asks with a soft voice.

"No, we have a lot to do now. We can continue this when we're done."

Sheen looks at Clark's face with a pout and punches his chest softly, "Mean."

Kady, on the other hand, still had his men follow Aria around and without Sheen's knowledge, he's also tailing Wyn.

"Mr. Lee did go to Missus Guandemo's office yesterday, Sir. It was only him who kept on meeting with her," a man wearing a suit said, "Here are the pictures we've taken." He put an envelope in front of Kady containing the pictures.

Kady and Blue looked at each other, they met outside since there might be a chance that Wyn catches them if ever they talked in the hotel.

"Wyn's the one meeting with Aria? Isn't it obvious? He's really on that woman's side! He's working against Mr. White! He's a traitor," Blue exclaimed and bit his lips. "He's lying to Sheen."

Kady took the envelope and saw the pictures of Wyn entering the building of Aria's office.

"But what if he's only playing with Aria and he still wants to help us expose her?" Kady said with a hopeful tone, clinging to the possibility that he is right.

"Well... yeah, but he's not keeping in touch with us. He's not even going back to the hotel anymore unless he has to take some of his things."

"About that..." The man in a suit called their attention and pointed at the envelope, "We followed him and he's staying in another hotel. And Mrs. Guandemo once visited the same hotel while we were chasing them around."

Kady took a quick glance at his worker with a shocked expression then went to search for the pictures, there are a couple of photos Aria arriving and some of Wyn entering the hotel at different times.

"He's hiding something," Blue said. "Is this still about him wanting to prove himself to his father?"

"I don't know. We have to talk to him. This is really going in a different path," Kady took his phone and dialed Wyn's number.

After a few rings, Wyn did not take the call and was about to call again when Sheen suddenly called him.

"Meeting with Aria's husband? Tonight? Alright. Let's meet up then, we have some pictures of Wyn."

Kady looked at Blue after the phone call, "They are going to talk with Mr. Guandemo."

Blue nodded, "I see. Anyways... I can't stay here longer, Kady. We have a job back at the company. You also have to get back as soon as possible."

Kady closed his eyes and rests his head on his hand, "I know. I will just help with Sheen and I'll go back. You can go back tomorrow."

"I know they can do this, Kady. He's Mr. White and Sheen, you know her, they can handle this. I know it's only Sheen who you're worried about," Blue asked the waiter for the bill and turned to Kady.

"I can't keep calm knowing that this is what's happening around her. She's just a writer back in our company. She was safe and it was peaceful," Kady worriedly said in a low soft voice.

He felt Blue's hand on his shoulder, patting him, "This is Sheen's choice. Whatever happens, it's on her. All we can do is support her but I know she wouldn't want anyone of us sacrificing our jobs or time just to do that. Kady, Mr. White can protect her."

Kady nods, he knows that, "Right. Then, I'll go back with you tomorrow."

Dan arrived in Clark's office exactly when Sheen left with files about Aria's connections as well as Wyn's.

"If you told me earlier that you know about everything, I would have worked more easily," Dan groaned and gave a folder to Clark.

"Then why didn't you tell me everything? I already talked to Mr. Rogers, no worries. How's Bea?" Clark asks while reading through the collected information.

"She's fine. She and Cha went out yesterday, bonding before Cha pops, she said."

"So, there's a client who testifies that Aria did give them bribery?" Clark smirks, knowing that he already got a hold on the game.

"Yeah, stupid," Dan brushes his hair upwards in irritation, "They said they will go back to us soon enough. Wyn seemed to be not taking the game well. He's not even into his business."

"What do you mean?"

"Wyn was planning to destroy us in the beginning but he backed out. He's not caring much about the company these few weeks, he's doing something else. Why don't you ask Sheen's friends, Mr. Kady, and Mr. Blue? They are close with Mr. Wyn from what I know."

Clark leans on the backrest and taps the desk with his finger, "Sheen knows what is happening, I don't need to concern myself with her friends. I know that they tell her everything that can help."

"Then have you talked to her?" Dan went to sit down on the soda.

"Yes. Well... actually, no. I only told her that I know what is happening but I haven't talked to her about the information she knows."

"Then talk. Maybe we can put an end to this with something that she knows. Anyway, what will you do with your sister? Send her back to the mental rehab?"Dan laughs sarcastically then sighs, "She's really weird."

"I told you I don't want to be reminded of that nasty fact. And if ever she won't stop bugging me, I'll send her to jail. She suffered enough already since our mother died."

"But she still needs help! She's going psycho about the company."

"So, is it a son or a daughter?" Clark changed the topic and went back working.

Dan shook his head and smiled, "Secret. Bea said that we should keep it as a secret. Just be sure to be there when she gives birth," he stands up and went to the door, "Don't worry, I'm sure everything will be fine by then."

Clark didn't look at Dan, but sighed as the door closes, "I hope," he whispered.

Sheen's on the phone talking to her mother about Cj's vacation while fingering the plant on her desk, "He'll stay there for a month if he wants to. His vacation's two-month-long though. I told Clark that there are a lot of places he can visit there. And he's a great kid, he's not a picky eater."

She knows Cj needs to have a break away from all of this, it broke her heart after finding out why he was punched. Even though he's smart, he's just a kid and it's stressful to be surrounded by problems.

"He needs to have fun. I'll stay with him if we solve our problem here and if Clark can come, that's better."

She remembered how she used to play with Clark and Bea before in the gardens, playgrounds and the forest at the mountain above their town.

"He can go to the places we used to play at with Clark, remember the mountain? And Clark would love to see it too."

While reminiscing her childhood memories, she suddenly remembered a stuffed toy she and Clark once fought over, it's a 2 feet tall panda. There were st.i.tches on its arms and legs.

"Mom, is my panda still there? Yeah, that one. I would like to show it to Cj, can you fix it? And don't worry where they'll sleep, my room's good. They're not picky. Yeah, if Clark doesn't want to, he can stay in a hotel."

Sheen chuckles while imagining Clark being alone in a hotel while she and Cj are chilling in her room in the afternoon, laying on the floor while chatting about things.

She can't wait to experience a normal thing since she always waited for an exciting thing to happen in her life straight out of movies and books, she never thought to experience one can tire her out. She's excited to have her normal day with the people she loves the most.

"Hm? Wedding?" Sheen paused and took her pen. "No, we haven't planned anything out yet. Yeah, the problem first then maybe we can plan after. Maybe... the beach? Or a forest? River wedding's good too. I don't know, Mom. I'm fine with whatever."

She started drawing a wedding dress on a scratch paper while her mother nags her on getting married early or else she may not be able to have a lot of children. She brushed her mom off and laughed, "Mom. I'll tell you first if we start to plan for the wedding."
