The Writer's Romance 9 Happy Birthday!

It's been a week since the day Blue saw Sheen outside Kady's Office. She's avoiding both of them.

One time, Sheen was so late and the elevator only carries Kady, Blue, and three other employees but she chooses to wait until it closes.

And there was a time when they were going to walk past each other, but Sheen took the other way.

Every time they see each other, Sheen looks at Kady with sadness and anger.

Blue was promoted as Kady's a.s.sistant since the day he asked Sheen to go out but ever since they never went on a date.

*Sigh*

"I already finished seven chapters of the book," Sheen said while compiling paper in her desk.

"That's nice, have you reported to the President?" Lucy was typing about her report that she needs to pa.s.s next week.

They all look so busy, everyone needs to report either this week or next.

"Nope, I was going to last week but something came up. I backed out, maybe I'll do it next week with you."

She smiled at Lucy who was looking at her with a frown,

'Hang in there, Sheen. Your relatives won't have it their way.' She thought.

"I'll see you later," She ended her phone call with Wyn.

They have been seeing each other every day and night, they're having their dinner at her house, or they'll have lunch together.

"Thank G.o.d, I have someone like him." She whispers while she held her phone close to her heart.

While Kady was up in his office, looking at her with longing eyes.

"That brat, how can he include himself in this matter, if you did not ask someone to do what I asked you to. We would have fewer problems to deal with." Kady's tone was as low as always.

"Um, from what I remember you said: 'Ask her mother to engage her to someone rich and handsome but that will secretly be me. I know she will arrange it since she trusts you.' And dude, I did. You know that if you show your face to her mother she will cut your pretty face for hurting her little baby. Thank G.o.d I have Wyn who is rich and handsome." Blue said annoyingly, he hasn't had enough sleep from doing what Kady asks him to do.

"His your bodyguard, how can he be so rich? Also, If I will only bribe her mother, she will accept me. Remember I was her favorite." Kady didn't take his eyes off Sheen who's eating ice cream in the garden.

"What? Favorite? Puff, anyways. Wyn was only having some training like me, it's complicated. He is rich, as rich as we are."

Blue was sitting on the couch while checking out a model he met on a bar in his Instafam.

"What about Elgeen? You're checking her out." Blue got surprised, Kady was behind him looking at his phone.

"She's pretty, especially those hips." Kady winked at him while smirking.

Blue blushed then turned off his phone, "Shut up!"

They noticed that after spending some time together again, it feels as if nothing happened. Like they are still friends, especially when they tease each other.

"But, really. I got these feelings that we look like we are playing Sheen. She doesn't know that she's engaged to you, she thinks that Wyn is her real fiance." Blue watch Kady walks back to his desk.

"We can fix it. As long as your pet won't be in our way." Kady looked at a file, the family of riches. And there he found Gerwyn's file.

"Heir of Lee Mar Publication, huh?" Kady smirked, it's his most special enemy in business and in his romance.

"Blue, call Cha. We'll be having a meeting. We have an enemy to take down," Even with full suspicion, he did what Kady asked, he called the first love of Kady's life.

"Heeeeeeeeey it's your birthday!" Lucy suddenly whispered behind Sheen.

Yes, it is her birthday but it's weird that she just remembered it the time they are already on their way home.

"Yeah, and it's too late. I won't celebrate. Yes, thank you for remembering. I will just sleep through this hateful day of adding numbers to my life. I hate 27 but I despise 28." Sheen took her bag.

She does hate this day, but it's also the first day that she will celebrate her birthday with Wyn.

"Oh, what's that smile about? Having dinner with your fiance?" Lucy poked Sheen's blus.h.i.+ng cheeks.

"Shh, they might hear you." Sheen shushed Lucy who looked around the office,

"We're the last one here?" They both laughed together then they took their leave but Blue was waiting outside their office, he was sweating and he was trying to catch his breath.

"Hey, a.s.sistant Blue, what's the rush?" Lucy asked, Sheen was just behind her texting Wyn that she will be on her way. Blue noticed her smile,

"I want to tell her, Happy Birthday." He looked at her, but sadly she was not listening.

Lucy elbowed her, shocking her and even almost letting her phone drop.

"Hey, what's that for?"

"He's telling you something." Lucy looked at Blue who signals him to repeat what he said with a wink,

"I think I need to go, mah baby's hungry. I can feel it!" She touched her breast while winking at Blue which kinda looks creepy for Sheen and Blue. She then ran away leaving them behind.

"Happy birthday?" Blue almost forgot about it, he just remembered it when he checked his phone's alarm. He was already outside so he ran back to the building to personally greet her.

"Oh, thank you." Sheen didn't even looked at him. She was into replying Wyn about him waiting outside. She walks without even looking at Blue,

"Hey, are you mad?" Blue asks.

Sheen was never rude, even if she feels sad or angry. She never did anything that will make someone feel bad which is why her relatives took advantage of her.

"No, I am just replying to my fiance." She stops, looking at him.

"See, about what you asked me before. I was not thinking. I was too stressed. I am sorry, but I can now say I am taken." She smiled proudly and... happily?

'She's happy she's engaged? G.o.d, what did I expected? Of course, Wyn looks too good.' Blue sighed.

"Okay, can I celebrate with you at least? Please? I know you're celebrating in your house, can you please let me celebrate with you?" Blue did his own puppy eyes, looking directly at Sheen.

"Okay, but tell me everything that you were talking about with Kady tomorrow." She looked at him seriously, but she can never pull that look. She is too innocent and pure.

"Um," He was hesitating but he knows that they can never keep it as a secret, she will eventually find it out. Not that it will change something.

"Okay."

Wyn has been waiting outside for about five minutes, and when he saw who Sheen is with, he suddenly got irritated. Even though Blue's his friend and also his boss, he can also feel the compet.i.tion going between them.

"Oh, so he's your fiance huh." Blue smirked, like he was mocking Wyn.

Sheen saw this face, "Hey! What's that? Do you want to celebrate with me or what?"

"Sorry, I was amazed that the Lee Mar's heir is your fiance. I mean he had a meeting with the President, remember, you saw him with me last time, right?" Blue went inside Wyn's car but he sat beside the driver's seat.

"What the h.e.l.l?" Wyn exclaimed while looking at Blue outside the window, "That's Sheen's seat."

Blue made a weird face, "Huh? I don't see any name in here." He looks at his seat entirely.

Sheen just sat behind, looking at them while smiling.

"I'm glad my best friend and fiance are having a good time."

Wyn then sat and drove while being annoyed by Blue while Sheen enjoys their company even though it is quite noisy and dangerous due to Wyn being irritated.

'Dying tonight won't be a problem,' she thought then giggled.

After hearing her giggle, Blue and Wyn both blushed thinking that Sheen might be seeing them as kids.

"YOU INVITED HIM, MOM?!" Sheen's eyes almost bulge out while she was having her piece of shanghai.

Blue and Wyn were also eating when Kady appeared from a room. He was wearing her dad's s.h.i.+rt.

"Yes, he cooked that shanghai, and you guys loved it!" Her mom said happily while looking at Kady.

"I thought you hate him!" She exclaimed, her mouth full of her food.

"Uh, um. You see, he brought me the most popular jewelry."

Sheen face palmed, her mom's heart can be persuaded with any jewelry. And Kady knows everything about it.

"Sorry honey, I just want you to make up. It's your birthday, have fun!"

Kady went to her, then smiled while taking out a gift he was hiding behind him.

"Happy Birthday, Sierra Haley Eureka Ellaine Neomi." He held her hand and kissed it while handing her a small box.

For that simple gesture, her heart was stolen again by the same man that broke it. It was pounding too fast, the temperature suddenly got hot, her mind got fuzzy.

He was going to open it when Wyn and Blue pulled him then they took the gift knowing what's in it.

"No, you will not." They both whispered while tackling him down. "You will never give that ring."
