"We are almost there, wolf."
"You know, it's quite odd for us to just call each other by what we are... you can call me Zaro?"
"If that is the name you wish to be called, I will meet the demand."
"What can I call you?" Zaro asked, as he was quite awkward by referring to her as 'woman' or 'girl'.
"I do not possess a name, that I know of... look, over there..." Zaro peaked over her head and noticed a large pink and white marble pillar s.h.i.+ning gloriously in the middle of some plains, "that is where my supposed race exists..."
"Alright, let's get this over with!"
Soon she pushed her body back and stretched out her wings and landed graciously before the large pillar. Surrounding it were several creatures which were probably attempting to activate it and summon the new race.
Zaro approached the base of the pillar, where the symbols were his common language that he knew when he was still a human, while the symbols above were most likely the language of the race. He scrolled his eyes through the text and smiled to himself, it was very similar to a prayer or a spell which he had to chant.
"Wolf, do you possess the knowledge of reviving this unfortunate race?" she asked, now in her human form while approaching the pillar cautiously as to not disturb him.
"I'll do my best?" With that, Zaro prowled around the pillar in a circle due to the sentences being imprinted on each side and going downward, "H're i calleth upon, a raceth, so stunning, with their lavish skin which glows during the night and s.h.i.+nes during the day, i dreameth to beest enslav'd by their pi'rcing eyes and their radiant aura. Known to existence as people of the f'rests, i wisheth to bringeth life to those resembling the aelfs, yet, those which art much m're gl'rious did compare to those folk. Enchant us once again with thy beauty and establisheth thy marketh on this w'rld as thee has't done once bef're. cometh f'rth, the royal bloodline that we so adored!"
A few words into the incantation, the crane's face dropped as she understood that it wasn't her race but the royal bloodline of the Aelf's. Regardless of who it was, Zaro was absolutely excited, by the description he could only wait impatiently to see these divine creatures!
The symbols on the pillar had begun lighting up on by one and eventually beams of life broke through the marble and s.h.i.+ned beautifully. Shortly afterward, the pillar had begun spinning and orbs of light emerged from the symbols and fell to the ground.
Zaro watched as the orbs expanded and shaped themselves into a humanoid but still glowed brightly so you couldn't see their appearance.
Eventually the pillar had disappeared and the only thing left was about a hundred glowing bodies and a bright beam in the place where the pillar once was.
Zaro couldn't help but get drawn into the beam and approached it as if he were hypnotized.
Suddenly, the beam had taken its own humanoid form and the first Royal Aelf to come to existence on the Ikha Continent appeared before them. When Zaro witnessed the Royal Aelf's appearance forming he could only think of one thing, 'beautiful'.
The Aelf had striking blonde hair which flowed down to her chest, her skin was as described, lavish in every way. However, when she opened her eyes and two light blue gems glowed brilliantly, Zaro's heart clenched and he had become enslaved by her beauty.
The Aelf revealed a charming smile and then spoke, "I had not expected that a forest wolf would revive our race, perhaps we are simply fated to be at one with nature?" she looked around and was amazed by the beauty of the world and then looked back at Zaro, "Redeemer, may I have the honor of knowing your name?"
Realizing that she asked him a question, Zaro blushed slightly and replied slightly fl.u.s.tered, "Zaro... and yours?"
"Alena, the Angel of Protection for the Aelf's," she walked forward a bit closer to Zaro causing him to get really tense all of a sudden, "Redeemer, I wish to offer my grat.i.tude for our revival, thus, I only hope that you accept this gift of mine..." she then swiped her hand in the air as if she was picking something off a branch and suddenly a pearl appeared.
Zaro looked at the pearl and used his enhanced senses to discover a G.o.dly aura surrounding it that was similar but much more powerful than the root that he discovered.
"This Pearl was once a rain drop that traveled down one of the heavenly lotus' petals. It formed a pearl which is perfect for consumption of any creature... please accept this gift."
"Don't have to ask me twice!" Zaro thought in his head, chuckling to himself, "I would be honored to receive this gift." She walked up to him and placed the pearl on his tongue then petted him under his chin as he swallowed the pearl.
Immediately, Zaro felt his body transforming gradually as his fur began changing color once again and his eyes had turned into a glowing light blue color. Alongside the appearance changes, his body had grown even more in size and was now the size of the crane which he rode on to get here.
The pearl not only had plant qualities but also was filled with some different essence which duplicated the essence in his core allowing him to reach the not awoken Imperial Stage. Although this was a major breakthrough and increased his power two fold, he still didn't awaken his core so he couldn't begin cultivation just yet.
"I will now summon all of the Aelf's and help guide them for their survival."
"Wait, can you answer one of my questions?!"
"Of course, Redeemer... what is it you would like to know?"
"My core... when will it awaken?"
"I understand your burden, however, this is unknown to me... but if you truly wish to hasten your awakening, you may do so by creating a connection with your destined element. It will not only make you more powerful but also increase the speed in which you develop your core."
Zaro nodded his head and was happy to have the darkness pill on him, which he could use to establish this connection. He then looked over to the now transformed crane that bowed her head before lifting off into the skies.
Noticing that the other Aelfs were slowly waking up, he bowed his head to Alena before leaving the area as he didn't want to startle any of them. All Zaro wanted to do from now was to become stronger and awaken his core, thus he headed to a small forest some distance away from where the Aelf's were and popped the pill into his mouth.
