Nelson slapped on the window, crying louder and louder.

Every single sound was like a knife which stabbed into Florence’s heart.

“I’ll go with you. Don’t embarra.s.s the people here.” Li said hoa.r.s.ely with dim eyes.

“Florence…” Baron turned to her, with a helpless look in his eyes. The moment he wanted to say something, Florence Li interrupted him.

“Baron, thank you for taking care of us yesterday. I know you have tried your best and I don’t want to make you feel awkward any more.”

Li’s face was drawn. She clamped her thin lips and turned to the car behind Brian after finis.h.i.+ng her words simply.

Now that G.o.d had arranged that in this way, she would face it after all. No matter whether it was the abyss or the steep cliff ahead, she would insist for the very sake of Nelson.

“There would have been no trouble if you had done it earlier.”

Brian snorted coolly and stretched out, ordering everyone to leave.

A swarm of people drove away in a mighty way. The melancholy expression on Baron’s face gradually turned into pleasure.

He acted perfectly in this play.

As long as he let Florence Li go back, Brian’s family would be in constant conflict, and then he could have the opportunity to take revenge.

As soon as Florence returned to the villa, she was taken to a room different from Nelson’s. She sat at the bed blankly, and her strength seemed to have been exhausted. The girl collapsed on the ground with a pale face.

She was still taken back here, where the nightmare began.

Rodney came in from the outside, Li said hoa.r.s.ely, “what’s up now?”

“Mr. Si ordered that you will see the young master after figuring out the problem.” After a pause, he said, “Miss. Li , you do not need to worry too much. The young master is still in the villa and he won’t be hurt. After all, he is Mr. Si ‘s son.”

Hearing this, Li’s long eyelashes trembled and her face became more pale.

“You said so much, that is to say, he won’t let me see my little boy.” She said in a low voice: “Did you say that yourself?”

How could Brian had said that.

“Miss Li, please don’t be too pessimistic. Have a good rest.” Rodney bowed his head and said, “Miss Li, I still want to say that it will be much better for you and your child to obey Mr. Si”

Li looked at Rodney and didn’t say anything.

The sky outside the window had drawn its curtain. There were only a few bright lights s.h.i.+ning in the dark sky.

The night wind blew in and hit Florence Li. The cold wind took her last sleepiness away.

She wondered if Nelson had fallen asleep by then.

Was the milk powder prepared at night?

Did he cry for mom?

A large number of questions flashed across her mind and she looked out of the window worried.

Because Nelson was not at her bedside, she pa.s.sed the time as if each second seemed to be a year, and time seemed to stop.

In the large study downstairs, the bookshelves on the two sides were connected with the roof. They were arranged in order. Brian sat at the table between the bookshelves. His face was full of grumpiness and his breath was extremely heavy. The books in his hand were thrown on the ground one by one until there was no book in his hands.

“Go to investigate Baron and find what his purpose is. Why did he let me know that the woman was with him, but at the same time, stop me from taking her?” Brian glared at Rodney with an enormous rage and shouted.

“Yes, Mr. Si. I’ll do it now.” Rodney nodded in response and turned to leave.

“Come back!” It seemed that Brian remembered something again, “what is that woman doing now? And that kiddy? ”

Rodney was helpless for a few seconds, and then bowed his head and said respectfully, “Miss Li should have a rest. The young master has been making trouble for a long time. Matron Liu just fed him milk powder, and now he is asleep.”

“Their temper is the same! Stubborn!” Brian roared, got up and kicked the book near him away.

He didn’t know what happened to him. He was so irritable that there was nothing for him to vent his anger on. Florence Li hadn’t said a word to him since she got off the car. It seemed that he had invited two G.o.ds to his home with great respect.

“What’s more, how did the woman get hurt? Investigate that in private and let me know. Don’t let the Family Si find out.” Rodney was going to leave as he was ordered by Brian again.

“Yes.” Rodney frowned.

What was the matter with Mr. Si? It was not like his style when he made decisions in such a slow manner.

“d.a.m.n it!”

Brian impatiently smashed the cup nearby on the ground and breathed heavily. He wanted to let his brain be fresh and his mood be calm.

He stood there with arms akimbo, however, his restlessness did not dissipate.

After he came back from Baron’s home, his heart was always very manic and he could not calm down.

Even he didn’t understand what was wrong with himself.

“Mr. Si, what’s wrong?” Rodney couldn’t help asking.

“Have you heard that the woman called Baron Si as Baron?” Brian said it directly without thinking more, and his voice was full of fickleness.

“I… I have ignored that. ” Rodney raised his eyebrows, helplessly smiled and respectfully said.

Well, that was the point.

The stronger wind outside the window indicated a coming storm.

Brian was still very upset. After Rodney left, he paced back and forth in his room by himself and he didn’t find he had got close to Nelson’s room.

The light in the room came through the door, and Brian reached out his hand to push the door open and walked in softly.
