Cultivator_Requiem: What are you _Takai its the name.
Murakami_Takai: oh lol.
Elyon: Someone raised a flag for a chemistry writer to appear.
WWFire: Some of us here r scientist irl.…
*Hissssss*
"What!? Scientists write novels too!?" Elyon looked at WWFire's comment in surprise.
Elyon: Oh c.r.a.p.
Cultivator_Requiem: @Murakami_Takai cus its a compound thats made majorly of xenon but has other n.o.ble ga.s.ses so I decided to name it Xenogen.
Elyon scratched his head. He feels out of place because he can't relate to the discussion. The only time he enjoyed the science subject is when he was in highschool.
Elyon: I love science when I was in highschool. My teacher was beautiful.
Cultivator_Requiem: @Elyon (LBW) lol me too.
Elyon: xD
Murakami and Cultivator_Requiem joined the chatroom today. Murakami is like a walking wikipedia (you know that serious type of guy) while Cultivator_Requiem is like a bag full or surprises.
Both of them are approachable and easy to talk to which is a plus since all of us are newcomers to the server.
WWFire: My teacher was beautiful should be approximately the only thing u "like" about science *thinking emoticon*
'You got it sir. You have great observation skills.'
Cultivator_Requiem: @Elyon (LBW) but after a while I got an accounting teacher that was hot and now I'm on a BSA course.
'I see you're a fickle guy. You see something hot and you bend.'
Elyon: Tsk tsk, you have no idea how much I like science back then. It's because science is beautiful and she smiles at me when I answer her.
Murakami_Takai: oh man, my chemistry teacher was ugly af.
'My condolence to you.'
WWFire: Scientifically, to make human immortal, we need the ability to control telomerase and telomers.
'telomerase and telomers? What's that?'
Murakami_Takai: Control RNA.
'RNA?'
WWFire: More like the DNA direct control, RNA just encodes fr the protein that may cause mutation.
Truedawn: They are the material needed to recreate new cells.
Cultivator_Requiem: @WWFire rna is also protein for mitochondria yes?
WWFire: Heads up, cancer cell is immortal cuz they have basically infinite telomerase @Truedawn
[A/N: So many talented people here in this channel ah~]
Cultivator_Requiem: @WWFire they technically need bioma.s.s to convert to energy tho?
WWFire: @Cultivator_Requiem ✨ not quite, protein is the result of RNA translation. RNA itself is no protein.
Elyon quickly closed the discord chat and wiped the sweat on his forehead.
"d.a.m.n, these things are too high level for someone like me. I can't understand their language. Might as well log into the game for a bit." Elyon logged in to his mobile game and greeted his members.
He spent a few minutes playing his game and set his character to Auto Mode. He went back to the discord chatroom after making sure that his character's set-up is perfect.
[Mobile games these days have the auto function. You can just leave them there and they'll kill monsters and level-up on their own. Whoever discovered that technology is a genius!]
Cultivator_Requiem: @WWFire ah yeah, but it ends up responsible for energy production in the cell? I mean in the mitochondria.
WWFire:Mitochondria is responsible. Yea....
Truedawn: Adenosine triphosphate.
'OMG! They're still continuing!?'
Elyon: Argh just reading make my head hurt lol.
WWFire: There is also guanine triphosphate for many channel protein activation, not only atp
Elyon: it's a good thing I'm not stepping on the path of Sci-Fi / Cultivation immortality.
Elyon now realized why he's not too keen in reading Sci-Fi related novels. Maybe it's because of all the "Science" in it.
[A/N: Science Fiction Writers and Readers. You have gained my respect.]
WWFire: But that wont b important, unless u r unlucky enough to get scientist as reader *joy emoticon*
'I'm sure that if there's a scientist like you who writes novels, there will also be scientists who reads them!'
"Good thing I'm writing fantasy, everything can be solved by magic." Elyon praised himself for picking the right genre for his story.
Truedawn: There was an author once here on the server that had a scientist as an unlucky reader. Oof
'Yikes! See I told you!'
Elyon: F*ck!
[MEE6 BOT
Elyon#2699 has been warned
Reason: Bad word usage]
Elyon: awww lol excuse my French.
The_G.o.d: Hey @MEE6
Elyon: He's a bot.
The_G.o.d is another newcomer to the chatroom. He's a nice guy.
Cultivator_Requiem: W8. Do they also warn for cursing in other languages?
Elyon: Maybe.
WWFire: Blyat.
[MEE6 BOT
The_G.o.d#1456 has been warned
Reason: watch your mouth.]
Elyon: lmao.
The_G.o.d: See.
Murakami_Takai: scheisse.
Elyon: That's one smart bot.
The_G.o.d: He feels so alive.
[A/N: Remember kids, swearing is bad. The people in this chatroom are bad examples. Don't do this at home.]
Elyon: Where were we again? Oh yeah kingdom building
Truedawn: Sci-fi right.
Cultivator_Requiem: We were umm... scientist reader?
Truedawn: @Cultivator_Requiem I'd suggest making the stars.h.i.+p out of aerogel.
Cultivator_Requiem: Lol the radiation will kill them xD
Truedawn: Anyways using aerogel to build the hull of the stars.h.i.+p while using a material on top of that to deflect cosmic radiation seems plausible to me.
Cultivator_Requiem: Sounds plausible.
Truedawn: A stars.h.i.+p is pretty ma.s.sive compared to the size of a s.p.a.ce shuttle unless the stars.h.i.+p is s.p.a.ce shuttle size or smaller.
Cultivator_Requiem: Ah I'm using ION thrusters that run on two plutonium 286 reactors.
'OMG! Can a fantasy writer appear here soon! I'm gonna die!'
Seeing no end to the discussion about Sci-Fi related stuff, Elyon decided to take a strategic retreat and return another day.
He opened a word doc.u.ment and decided to write a chapter. While in the middle of writing he realized something interesting.
"You can probably throw any question in the discord chat and the answer will come in a matter of seconds." Elyon was amused by this thought of his.
'If this is true, then any writer can indirectly ask their senior authors to explain a few things about a certain topic that they have practically no idea about.'
"Perhaps, if the writer's were to get serious and form a secret organization. World domination is just around the corner." Elyon laughed at this silly thought of his.
It's just another day in the Webnovel Writer's Chatgroup.
