Coincidence Or Fate 108 Lonely Hear

Since Jordon was the one managing Angelique's business, her ident.i.ty as the owner was never known to everyone. Apart from her close friends and the main shop employees no one else knows about it.

"Ange, what are you doing here?" Corey said as he was about to open the shop door.

"I came to greet everyone and give them my presents for the holiday," she replied

"Not everyone will be here today since we plan to open half a day only so people can prepare for the holiday," he added

Angelique smiled bright seeing her shop once again, it's been awhile and she could not help hide her excitement as she smelt the smell of bread and coffee beans.

"You haven't visited the main branch since your return from Malaysia," he said

Angelique nodded, "After coming back from Malaysia I was suddenly preoccupied with my career as a singer, I had to prepare for my first concert tour in England soon I'll been preparing for my world tour as well."

Corey laughed as he arranges the chair, "You need not worry about your business. Jordon is managing them so well, despite his age his qualified to manage your business also continue his work with his parents."

"I am indeed indebted to Jordon," Angelique replied, as she helps out to arrange the chair.

Corey went beside her and rub her head, "Ange, don't worry, I'm sure Jordon is willing to give his life for you."

"What?" she wonders

Corey laughed, "Nevermind, why not bake something at the back while waiting for everyone."

Angelique did not further question Corey, she instead went to the back kitchen and did what he said. Corey smiled in relief as he could escape a sudden death, but his expression turns sad as he felt sorry for Jordon. He did not expect that up until now Angelique would be so naive and not realize all Jordon's effort.

Whilst Corey was busy arranging everything in the front, he suddenly recalled someone who he hasn't seen for a while who would give up his life for Angelique as well. He wonders how he was and where he is?

"Wa.s.sup Corey," Jose said as he entered the shop.

"Jose, you looked tired," he said

"We drank quite a lot last night, unlike you who disappeared all the time." he frowned

Corey giggled, "Anyway, Ange is in the back."

Jose worn out expression drastically change as he storms inside the back kitchen. He paused for a moment as he saw Angelique wearing an ap.r.o.n with her hair tied back into a ponytail. It was something he wishes he could capture and see forever.

"Captivated..." Corey sneaky said as he pops out beside him.

Jose could not hide his fl.u.s.tered face pushed Corey aside of the kitchen, as he then walked inside to greet Angelique "Ange, your here."

Angelique smiled as she saw Jose heading towards her, "Jose, good morning. Are you alright? You slightly reddish, do you have a fever."

Jose reached out his hand as he shook them, "No, I'm fine, just came out from a warm shower."

"Can you help me with the dough," she asked

"Sure..." he quickly put his stuff away and washed his hand.

As the two of them ma.s.sage the dough together, Corey continued to watch how the scene develop from behind the door. "How sneaky of you to try join in, just because one is gone." He thought

After Angelique finished presenting his gift to everyone, she quickly went home to prepare for the party with the music company, since they successful did there first tour in England.

That afternoon, Annie arrived with the dress she'll be wearing for the party. Despite it's a simple occasion since Annie was her stylist she insisted she dresses up.

"Ange, how have you been?" she asked

"I'm fine..." she replied

"That's not what I mean Ange..." She sighed

Angelique did not answer her back as she knew what she meant. She was asking her how she felt after they've returned from Malaysia. Since then, she has not mentioned anything about it nor has she opened up. Since the day they returned she ignored everyone for a couple of days and did not show herself, but since she needed to practice for the concert, she pulled herself up and distract herself.

"I'm fine, I promise..." she replied

"Ange, stop being stubborn..." She sighed heavily, "But since your fine, I won't insist on it."

"Annie, thanks for everything." She smiled

"No worries, stop moving, I need to do your hair," she added

As Angelique looked out the window, snow where falling from the sky. Her aching heart started to remember the memories she wished to forget but for some reason her stupid and stubborn heart won't let it go.
