Coincidence Or Fate 9 Chapter 9 - Celebrate

"h.e.l.lo... Uhmm... is this Mr. Davis?"

"Speaking..."

"Mr. Davis this is Angelique... Good morning..."

"Angelique my dear morning..."

"Anyways, Mr. Davis regarding your offer..."

"I see you so you have though about it." The way he responded sounded like he was disappointed. I have not even said a word but I can feel the depress aura from the other end. "Its fine..."

Wait whats going on, how come he sound so depress.

"Wait Mr. Davis let me explain..."

"My dear, it alright. When you were in the hospital your boss briefly told me about you and I can see why you were so tense about this. I was even shock to see that it made you faint."

"Huh?"

"I know this is a risky path and your too afraid of it so I wont force you at all."

"Wait... Mr. Davis I called you to tell you I'll do it."

I did not hear any responded from him at all. At the same time at heard as if the phone fell on the ground.

"h.e.l.lo... Mr. Davis... Mr.Davis..."

"Yes, I'm here..."

"Are you alright?"

"Everything is great..." he responded with a cheerful voice. I can understand for all the sudden excitement from the start he thought I would reject his offer based on my boss story. "Alright then, if your free tomorrow please visit my office. I'll start the contract, at the same time I'll arrange the best song writers for you as well. I'll make sure before the year end you'll be number 1."

"Mr. Davis aren't you think to high of me."

"Not too high enough, I know you will be a big star. Just trust me as your manager. I'll make sure everything will be a smooth journey."

"If you say so, then I'll see you tomorrow Mr. Davis."

"Well then see you tomorrow." as he ended the call the huge burden I was feel vanished. Finally, I got that over with now I just need to see how it goes.

I send a message to my Ma and my friends informing them of my plans. She was happy to hear about it and told me to just follow my dream. Actually, I never dreamt of being in the entertainment industry. All I wish was a simple career and a good life. Soon after I also received messages from Jordon and Jamie, both of them were happy for me. They asked if I was busy tonight and invited me to dinner to celebrate my new career.

Since it was Sunday today I have an important task to do which was finish the script for my novel. I've started this novel since I was 19. Only Jamie and my editor have read it. I've only submitted one of my few works. The books has not yet been published since I have to re-write some of them.

I actually started writting this novel not because I love to write but to prove my mother wrong. When I was in high school, I was a bit better than his son. I've received certificates and awards all the time from different achievements. One day I asked her help to read the essay for one of my English report. Her comments then broke my heart and since then I hated writing. I even failed my English exam and had to retake it. So I decide then that I'll be a writer and one day if I'm able to publish my work and be famous I'll show her that she's wrong then.

I sat on my desk chair at stared at the empty ceiling thinking of what to write. The novel I was writing was based on how the world is right now and how thing could been different if this and that happened it the past. My editor said the story line is great and all however my mind today was all blank. As I glared in frustration at my empty laptop screen, I look around for some inspiration in my room. When I notice the devil gives on my headboard then it hit me. I'll right about the devil crazy adventure.

I started writing until I didn't realise the time at all. I have skipped my lunch and at the same time it was getting late already. I only stop my work when I received a call from Jordon.

"Ange, I'll be picking you up in an hour or so..."

"Wait, what time is it anyways?"

" It's almost 5. Why?"

"What?! its almost 5?!" As I check the clock on my headboard it was 19 minutes to 5. I did not realise I've spend more than 6 hours writting.

"Ange, are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'll get ready then..."

" Alright."

After I ended the call with Jordon. I decide to finish the part were I left before sending it to my editor.

Its was almost half past 5 when I send the email. So I quickly took a shower and got ready. After I took a shower, I quickly got change and notice I've received a message from Jordon.

[Open up...]

Without noticing I quickly run to the door and opened it up. Jordon was forzen solid when he saw me and did not walked in.

"Whats wrong?"

He did not say anything and turned around. I was confuse to why he turned around and then I realise I was only wearing my undergarment. I screamed and run back to my room and left the door open for him to get in.

"Sorry..." I said while slamming my bedroom door.

"Take your time, I'll watch some TV."

I was so ashamed of myself. How could I let Jordon see me like that especially with my wet look. Even though we've know each other for a long time and they have seen me in a bikini but that was a long time ago.

Since I'll be going out with them for a fancy dinner, I decide to put on some make up and dress myself up. I put on a black skin tight off shoulder dress with long sleeves paired it with silver heels and a matching silver pouch. My hair was just let loss and I didn't need to bother about styling my hair and let my wave hair go. I opened the door and looked at the man watching TV.

"How do I look?"

Jordon was focus on watching TV when I asked him the question, when he turn to my direction, he did not saw a word, put the tv off and got up of the sofa. He then slowly approached me with his flushed face and grab the coat from my hand. He careful put it around me and push my hair back.

"Let go..."
