The Black Tiger Combat Unit was comprised of a total of 20 people, which were divided into two sub-units. After a brief discussion, the combat unit members could not find any better solution than the one that had just been proposed.
"Mr. Billionaire, we agree to your terms," Marcus said, as he realized that he really had no choice.
"In addition to your abiding by my conditions, your partners in your gambling game must also abide by them." Steve laughed. "Otherwise, I won't agree to give you a year's leniency for repayment."
For such a huge gambling game, the Black Tiger Combat Unit alone could not possibly shoulder the responsibilities. Thus, Steve knew that they had partners backing them behind the scenes.
As such, it was not difficult for the Black Tiger Combat Unit to agree to Steve's terms. However, Oscar was different. As he was the first successor to the n.o.ble Babbitt Group, Marcus could not readily accept the terms, at least not without his express approval first.
"To tell you the truth, the other partner of the gambling game is Oscar, the son of the Babbitt Group empire. We are unsure whether he will agree to these terms or not." As Marcus spoke, he began contacting Oscar on another line via video conversation.
The connection was made quickly, as Oscar answered, then immediately asked, "Yes? What updates do you have? Has the other party agreed to defer the repayment?"
"The other party agreed to use the treasure to offset 1.55 billion in original gold of the debt. As for the remaining 6.9 billion in original gold, he agreed to give us a year to repay it. But, he does have some conditions..." Marcus then explained Steve's conditions to Oscar.
After hearing the conditions, Oscar said angrily, "It's impossible for me to serve him! After all, I'm the first successor of the Babbitt Group. Who is he?"
"If you are unwilling, then you must pay off your portion of the debt now!" Steve's disguised voice could be heard clearly by Oscar. "You are partners. Since the Black Tiger Combat Unit has already agreed to my terms, I will give them a year's time to replay their half of the debt. As for you, you can eagerly await my court summons."
Steve's words made Oscar turn pale. According to Steve's calculations, Oscar had to bear at least half of the 6.9 billion debt, which was 3.45 billion! He could definitely not fork out such a large amount!
"I am the heir of the Babbitt Group, you cannot force me! Even if you killed me, you wouldn't get any money. Plus, you would offend the Babbitt Group, and no one dares do that!" Oscar was clearly angry.
"You actually think that when you die, your debts don't still have to be paid? It's naive of you to think that, if so!" Steve sneered. "You represent the Babbitt Group, after all! Although you are working with the Black Tiger Combat Unit in this instance, you still use the name and seal of the Babbitt Group."
Steve smiled and concluded, "Since you are unwilling to repay the debt, I will have to get the Babbitt Group to pay it back! In that case, what does it matter to me whether you live or die?"

Oscar grew panicked now. His heart was fl.u.s.tered and he was truly frightened. If his father were to find out about this, not only would his heir status be removed, but the entire Babbitt family would be expelled from the good graces of high society!
Moreover, Oscar was sure that, given his father's character, his father would make him a slave to him until Oscar paid off his debts! In no circ.u.mstances would The Babbitt Group publicly acknowledge Oscar after that, much less this shady debt!
"You... You... " Oscar flushed red with anger and was rendered speechless for a moment, only able to stutter.
But, at last, he sighed and said, "I promise to adhere to your terms, but I will not do anything that negatively affects the Babbitt Group or the Babbitt Family!"
"Well, that's a nice sentiment, but you have no choice! I am the boss now," Steve said coldly.
Steve then made them each sign a contract, which stated clearly that, in the future, both the Black Tiger Combat Unit and Oscar would have to obey Steve's orders. It also stipulated that the metal sheet map would be handed over to Steve via a third party handler at the military base camp.
As for the 2.5 billion in original gold, the military base camp would deduct 5% of that as their handling fee, which included a tax payment. The rest would then be transferred to Steve.
Hence, it was all taken care of and Steve no longer had to worry about it. Finally, Steve breathed a sigh of relief and the communication between all parties was disconnected.
Lucy immediately came over and placed Steve's head on her chest. Then, she ma.s.saged Steve's temple gently to ease his fatigue.
"Honey, you've worked so hard," she cooed.
Steve buried his head in Lucy's chest and sniffed her sweet fragrance. He finally felt relaxed.
After outlasting the battle with Lawrence, handling the situation to get rid of the rumors, and successfully tackling a series of negotiations with the Black Tiger Combat Unit, he was exhausted! Although he did not feel as tired when it came to his physical and spiritual states, his soul was weary.
"With your sweet support, I don't feel as tired anymore," Steve smiled and said. "Do you think what I've done is going overboard?"
Steve looked at Vivien as he spoke. He was actually a bit concerned that the cruel side of this situation might leave a negative impact on her.
"I've seen more cruel things in the slums and refugee areas. Besides, I'm not half as vulnerable as you think I am." Vivien maintained her pure smile. "You're doing the right thing, and I support you," she said.
Steve gave a bitter smile, realizing that he had really underestimated Vivien. She was like a lotus blooming from within the mud. Even in the darkest and dirtiest environment, the lotus kept itself pure, while still being able to protect itself.
"I don't think they are pathetic, it's just their due reward. After all, how many soldiers has the Black Tiger Store cheated over the years? If it weren't for you, they would just continue to cheat others, affecting more people forever!" Vivien said.
She then added, "Moreover, the Black Tiger Combat Unit created rumors to discredit your reputation. If you hadn't thought of a solution to set the record straight, I can't imagine how bad life would have been in the military base camp in the future!"
If the rumors had not been debunked by Steve, most of the people in the entire military base camp would have continued to hate Steve unjustly, as they would have kept believing the false lies being spread about him! Vivien knew firsthand how bad the experience of being bullied really was.
Thus, Vivien agreed with Steve's approach. In her eyes also, the evil ones must be punished!
As things stood, both the Black Tiger Combat Unit and Oscar would be responsible for the huge debt, and the Black Tiger Store would not be able to operate in the military base camp any longer. The root of evil had been completely removed!
In the future, there would be more victims to fall prey to the Black Tiger Store. This especially made Vivien's heart happy!
"Honey, you are so tired. Let me help you relax." Sofia smiled charmingly and unzipped Steve's trousers silently. She pulled out his huge pen*s, lowered her head, and held it in her mouth.
At this point, Steve positioned himself on the sofa and leaned back against Lucy's chest, while enjoying her head ma.s.sage.
Sofia was sitting next to his right hand, but was lowering her head and holding his pen*s in her mouth to relieve Steve's pressure. Vivien, who was standing on the left side, saw the scene and shouted, while her face blushed instantly.
Although she had watched them in secret last night, she was surprised that they were so bold as to do such an act right in front of her in the open! it was a great shock!
"I... I... I still need to continue training... I am going back to my room..." Vivien stood up quickly and turned to leave.
