When Steve found out what had happened recently, he worked hard to suppress his anger. He then looked at Alex coldly and asked, "Do you really have news about Vivien?"
"Haha, what if we do, and what if we don't?" Marshall sneered at him.
"Steve, it's easy... If you want to know about Vivien, as long as you beat me, we'll tell you what we know. But, our bets have to be increased." Alex's eyes sparkled with greed.

The others who were watching were shocked, as 10,000 contribution points was already a lot, but Steve had added yet another 10,000! Many of them exclaimed in surprise...
"He's crazy!"
"That's… 20,000 contribution points... Given to the Death Combat Unit for free?"
"Hey! He's just a recruit. How can he have so many contribution points?"
"You can't promise him!"

Normally, the duels between recruits were all held in the virtual network world, and they would fight with virtual characters that were simulated by the Gravity Tower Network.
