He reminisced the past until he heard some footsteps in front and a stem with white flowers appeared. Elis jumped high and stand on a branch of a tall tree. 'Not gonna happen.' he thought.
It's a giant venus fly trap. Elis knew the flowers were just a trap and someone who'll get attracted will become it's prey. Fire started emanating his body. "Unlucky plant, you'll be a roasted venus fly trap in a flash." Elis laughed. His hands were pointed to the plant's direction and a fire lit up upon the enemy's position. That is his new skill. Without the need to release a fire with his hands, Elis can start up a fire where it is standing. Although, it has a limit of 10 meters circ.u.mference which is useless on a long distance battle.
Elis walked further into the forest. A group of people were struggling to fight a fire type monster. 'A wolf that is a fire type monster is undeniably strong.' he thought. Elis went to their direction and caught the group's attention.
"ah! A fire living monster!" A man said. He didn't expect a being like him would appear on the forests. The wolf managed to hit him because his mind went elsewhere.
"Fin! Don't just stand there!" His comrade reminded him but his injury made him uncapable of fighting. Their group struggled more as they continue to get injuries from the wolf.
"How about I'll help you kill that wolf but I should take the orb." Elis said. That group certainly don't have enough ability to take down the wolf.
They hesitated at first but their lives were more important than an orb. "Okay, just help us from this wolf."
'A fire orb, how lucky!' he thought. Elis used his new skill but he release blue fire instead of the common one. The wolf they're attacking earlier were burnt into ashes. "I should take my leave." Elis said. He had taken the fire orb so there's no need for him to stay there longer. 'They can take the other drops. I don't need it.' he thought.
The fire orb he obtained should be enough for today so he would go home already but bringing a few things would be good too. Elis looked around the forest. Rattan palm or Carnauba palm tree's wood can be used to build Fluff's shelter. Elis found one and kicked it with much strength. It fell down and burned some parts so it'll be easier to carry.
Elis turned to the exit of the forest when someone appeared out of nowhere. A man dressed in elegant clothes appeared in front of him. Elis' brows furrowed. "What do you need?" he asked.
The man smirked. "Going alone in the forest? I guess you have a weak master. A living monster should have a strong master." he said.
"What? I think you're the one who is a weakling." Elis said and walked away. However, he tried to attack Elis but he dodged it. Elis looked displeased by his action so he ended up burning his clothes. That instantly made them enemies. After he set off the fire on his body, he started to attack Elis with a sword.
Elis ran quickly and he followed. A smirk started forming across his lips. This part of the forest is filled with poison ivy yet he swiftly avoided it all while that man has been lying through the ground.
'I'll get my revenge on you sooner. You'll see the wrath of the Milan Family!' the man thought.
"A citizen of Wytte country. What is he doing in this kind of place?" Elis said. That country is indeed far from here and a rich man wouldn't waste his time in Lan province without motives.
Elis reached their home and saw his master and Ivy in the garden. Probably, teaching Ivy a few skills. "Master, I'm back! Although I failed to bring a wood 'cause of some bad luck." he said.
"Don't worry, building his shelter isn't needed since we need to move out here in a few days." she said.
"Also, I have some experiment to do and we're soon leaving so I'm in a hurry for that. I'll leave Ivy to you today, okay?" Irvene continued. He nodded and saw her walking inside her house.
Elis didn't expect that they would be leaving this place already. They lived in this home for at least a year and it gave them peace. However, they are bound to leave that place one day or else there would be a huge trouble.
Elis looked at Ivy and saw her practicing how to control her powers. It looks like the stem of roses which is filled with sharp thorns and released dark, scary aura that seems poisonous. That made him remember the poison ivy on the forest. 'It indeed suits her name.' Elis thought.
He noticed Ivy looked at her. "Hi, Elis." she said.
"ah, h.e.l.lo." Elis said. It is an awkward scene for him. Ivy is still in a child form and his hands ended up patting her head. Fluff appeared before them and the two living elements played with Fluff.
While...
Irvene is doing her best to make an infinite storage. They will soon leave her humble home so an infinite storage is a must. Different flasks, big or small, are placed on a table. Some of it are full of liquids while the others are empty. A simple silver bracelet is also on another table but that table is filled with strange black markings in a circled position.
"Okay, the last would be the fire crystal!" she shouted.
After working for many hours, Irvene chanted a spell. "Light, sub-s.p.a.ce, concrete material, bind into one." A blinding light appeared on the strange markings on the table. That light indicated her work is a succes. However, to feel relief, Irvene wore the bracelet and tried if it would work. She placed a bottle of potion into the inventory and the bracelet shone, giving off a beautiful appearance while the potion slowly vanished. It is in a sub-s.p.a.ce she created and Irvene can get it out of the sub-s.p.a.ce whenever she wanted.
"Finally! I don't have to worry about bringing more things 'cause a mage should always be prepared for a battle." Irvene said.
Irvene felt a sense of success. 'I'll be back soon.' she thought.
