When The Moon Calls 27 The D Brothers

Michael was frowning, sitting on the backseat of the black Land Rover. James was driving him to the hospital. His mother had called him, asking him to visit her after school. He cancelled today's training for.....various reasons. Everyone needed more time to sort out their emotions after yesterday's "event". Jonas winked at him after the school had ended, hugging two girls with each arm. Michael knew that he need others life force to live and laughed at Jonas's behavior.

'What a leech haha.'

Odette had called him too, she came back from her cla.s.s trip to Los Angeles, requesting to meet him later inside the forest behind the Greyshaw Mansion.

Michael asked her for the reason...she only replied that it was a secret.

James parked the car beside the hospital. Michael made his way into the hospital, heading straight into his mother's room.

He entered the room, finding his mother standing in front of the opened windows, watching the sky.

"Mum how are you feeling?"

Anna didn't answer immediately, it was unusual, making Michael frown.

She turned around, staring straight into his different colored eyes, "Tell me Michael, am I still human?"

Michael was taken by surprise by that question.

"Mum what are you talking about?"

"How was my brain cancer healed?" Asked Anna softly.

"Mum?" Michael found it hard to belief that she somehow realized that she wasn't human anymore.

"Please tell me the truth Michael, did you do something?"

Michael felt a bit conflicted inside, he thought that he still had one month to somehow explain it to her.

He sighed and nodded silently.

Anna didn't look away, "How?"

"I turned you into a werewolf."

She walked to the chair, sitting down, looking exhausted.

"Tell me everything."

An old man wearing white robes was standing in front of a large messy desk, researching various strange runes. His magic sense noticed two familiar magical signatures appearing not far from him.

"So?, what did you find something?"

Two woman clad in dark-blue robes exchanged knowing looks.

"We found Amilia's other son, he lives inside that town Palmer Falls." Said the woman to the right.

The old man froze, stopping what he was doing.

"And....?"

"We sensed an unusual magic power inside his body. It feels familiar to dark magic but....it didn't give off the evil intent that dark magic normally has." It was the woman to the left that answered the question.

The old man became excited. "Hahahahaha how wonderful, a warlock! Finally! A warlock has appeared inside our circle! Hahahaha!"

Both woman didn't show any reaction, their faces hidden behind their hoods.

"I will finish this quickly, and then hahahaha. Ohhh Susan Atura Millenia, this time you have made a huge mistake."

Michael walked out from the hospital. He had talked for over an hour with his mother.

Telling her that he was born as a werewolf, what werewolves are and about his pack.

He feared the worst outcome.

But Anna just hugged him, starting to cry. She felt bad for him. He was still her baby in her eyes. To keep that secret until now, she thought that it burdened him greatly. Michael was happy but, still felt mental drained.

He walked to James who was leaning on the car.

"James..."

"Yes Sir?"

"You smoke right? Give me one."

"Sir?" Asked James confused.

"Gimme a G.o.dd.a.m.n cigarette!"

"Of course Sir."

James took out a packet, taking out a cigarette.

"You know what, give me the package." Michael didn't wait for James's response, s.n.a.t.c.hing the packet out of his hand.

"!" James was speechless.

Michael ignored him, taking out a cigarette, lighting it up. He took some deep puffs.

He felt a bit relaxed. 'Now I started smoking again...argh whatever.'

"To the mansion James." Ordered Michael.

"Yes...Sir."

James stole some glances at Michael though the rear mirror during the ride. He wondered what happened between Anna and Michael.

Michael ignored him, looking outside while smoking.

He went straight to the forest behind the mansion, Odette had texted him that she was already there, waiting for him.

His lips twitched when he arrived at their training spot. There were a group of people gathered there. Leroy was the first who heard Michael coming and retreated slowly to the back.

Odette smiled, walking to Michael.

"What is the meaning of this? Are they part of Unknown too?" Asked Michael clearly annoyed.

Odette just laughed it off, "Nope they are my pack members here in Palmer Falls."

"You are kidding right?" Michael was at loss, he knew the people standing there. The two female friends from the time he seeked Odette out. But they weren't the problem, the problem were the two boys...

Both of them had short black hair. Their beards was already starting to show itself. Both shared the same facial traits. They were lanky yet tall, there was an unique aura around them.

They were the D Brothers, Domenik and Daniel Garcia. Everyone in Palmer Falls knew them and not in a good way. They were just as brilliant as violent, bonafied lunatics.

What they had done? Alot, from burning buildings to sending others into the hospital. From blackmailing people to selling adult errr stuff. But their grades were the best in the school and they strangely got away with everything they did without getting caught.

Odette only shrugged, "They are my best friends, trust me you will start to love them when you know them better."

"I....whatever, you turned them?"

"Yep. My brother told me that you can force their first transformation ahead of time."

Michael's head turned slowly to Leroy who was standing in the back, shooting an angry glare at him.

Odette just giggled, "It's not his fault, he is just an Idiot.

"Yes I see that now too."

Michael stared at the group, "Hey you all know that it will hurt like h.e.l.l right?"

The little beauty Smilla only had eyes for his strong arms, not hearing what he said. The shy Izu paled, seeming to become smaller. The D Brothers looked at him wit fighting intent, a strange wild fire burning inside their eyes.

"Fine!"

They came prepare, wearing elastic sport clothes.

He took of his t-s.h.i.+rt and jeans, starting to transform. Cracking sounds could be heard, his body started to grow and dark fur started to grow all over his body. He finished the transformation in 10 seconds. The group stared at him in wonder and fear. Michael roared out.
