If You Can't Win, Then You Have to Pretend

When Ban Datong found Zhu Xiaolei, Zhu Xiaolei was losing so terribly at the game table that her eyes were wide open, exposing the whites of her eyes.

"Ban-ge..." Zhu Xiaolei is obviously not willing to go to Xu Bei, the smile on her face became a bit forced. He didn't know when the little wolf had gotten onto the bed. Its beautiful velvety white fur on its body was completely raised up, its teeth were exposed, and there was a low growl rumbling inside its throat. Its eyes were unwaveringly locked on Zhu Xiaolei. Its eyes showed an emotion that Xu Bei had never seen from it before... Anger.

"How did you hide while recuperating and still raise a wolf, ah—"

Zhu Xiaolei grabbed her clothes and stood in the corner and went on with shrieking. He doesn't know if she was constantly trembling from the cold or because of fear.

Xu Bei did not pay attention to Zhu Xiaolei's fear of the little wolf, but as for her determining right away after a quick look that this was a wolf, he felt it was a bit unexpected. He did not intend to let other people know that he had a wolf around him before he sold the wolf.

"What wolf, this is a Samoyed." Xu Bei put on his clothes, his rising interest was completely dissipated by Zhu Xiaolei's piercing voice.
