DEAR MR STRANGER 9 Chapter 9

He was running breathlessly throughout the dark woods nearby the Wizardry kingdom. He just wanted to reach the royal palace and wanted to speak to king Drakos. Just for once he wanted to reach safe n sound as knights were out there to pa.s.s a spade across his throat. They're searching for him like hungry packs of wolves search for their prey.

He knew if he didn't made it up to the king the mystery of lost prince would never be unfold. The whole matter would never be disclosed ever after, if he died. Or killed ! Or kidnapped !

Panting in sweat, afraid of the dark & terrified of the knights he pushed his body helplessly. His feet were swollen by now, neither had food nor water. Wanted to rest but don't want to be called a traitor in the pages of history of Wizardry kingdom. So he kept on crawling, dragged his whole tired body.

By the morning he reached the palace gate. Wanted to go in ordered the guards to open the gates. Didn't knew he had been charged with false allegations of abduction of the prince. The guards beat him & dragged with hands tied to the main hall of palace.

Threw him infront of the king and __

"My lord what have I done ?"

Master Valos tried to know about his sin !

"What have you done ?

You're asking me what have you done Valos ? You've committed a great sin of __kidnapping my son !"

The burst out in anger.

Old master Valos was kneeling with hands bound to the chains.

"My lord how.....how can I do such a terrible deed ? Young Prince is dear to me how can I commit such a sin ?"

Deep down king Drakos knew that his most trusted man couldn't do such a deadly sin.

"If it wasn't you....then why you disappeared along with the young prince ?"

"My king I didn't intended to do this until....."

He stopped as tears rolled down on his cheeks and he coughed.

King Drakos immediately came forward & bent down, sat with his "own " master !

And cried.

"Bring water....hurry up bring water immediately. "

"Master Valos are you alright ?"

The king himself fed his master with crystal clear wine gla.s.s, containing water and honey mixed together.

"Yes my lord, I'm alright but our young prince is not."

He began to sob.

King Drakos held him by shoulders with his own heart almost NOT pumping !

"Wh....what do you mean by this master ?"

He stuttered. Trembling.

"My king...my dear prince is....."

His voice got stuck into throat as he couldn't speak such a terrible memory.

"Young prince what ? Oh heavens please speak master !"

The king was about to go insane.

"My lord the night young prince disappeared.....it wasn't something normal.

Though the prince disappeared but he was there in the room !"

"Don't make me go crazy. Speak clearly."

The king's tone was inquiring now.

"My lord.....the prince drank from his wine gla.s.s and then he changed into__"

He paused again

"Into? "

"My lord the prince refused to know me !

He even refused to be a prince and only heir to the throne !"

"How is that ?

How can it happen ?"

He king crossed his legs and kept sitting on the floor.

"I studied hard for 2 days and took the prince__ with me.

The prince was brainwashed and was under a strong spell. Actually the prince is still under that spell. And it could only be broken if the prince falls in love."

"Mm.....where you took the prince for that ?"

"To the human world !"

He replied instantly.

"Are you insane master Valos ? How could the prince fall in love with a human being ? If it was the only way then it could have been princess Helena !"

"My lord you're taking me wrong. The prince is brainwashed and refuses to know any being related to any kind of magic. Thus I took the prince to human world. That was the only cure. My king !

Please spare my life for doing such a mistake. "

Master Valos bowed.

"It's alright master. I trust you with this matter. But you must have to bring the prince back until the day of marriage arrives."

"Yes my lord I'm trying my best and keeping an eye upon young prince !"

"You should rest master. I'll send someone from with food and aid."

"Thank you. My lord."

The king's eyes were beaming with hope. But he was still thinking about that night. Something wasn't right.

The master was escorted to his room. And the king settled himself on the throne with his thoughts muttering his son's name.

"Oh ASHTON, be safe son."

Human world :

"Don't ever turn back into that stupid diary, please"

Saavi burst out her wish.

"Haha okey ma'am wish granted."

He giggled.

"Hey that wasn't a wish__it was ....."

She pondered upon her words.

"It was ?"

He again teased her.

"It was my dearest wish."

She smiled with the message of love sparkling in eyes.

"I won't change now__ ever."

His tone became serious.

Perhaps he was too falling for her.

"But how did you __?"

She was interrupted.

"Well it was you who changed me this time too. Your heart attracts my core and I changed. Your pure feelings led this happen !"

"Oh ___what does it means?"

Saavi inquired as she was unable to understand what he was saying.

"Actually its like every being is attracted to other with love and affections. Same as your pure feelings attracted my core and I changed in my spirit form."

He spoke with a tender touch on her touch.

"It means__!"

Saavi blushed and turned her hid her face in both hands.

"Haha I'm with you and yours my lady !"

He laughed at her shyness.

Scooped her into his embrace and in bridal style took her to bed.

"You must sleep now your highness, tomorrow is school."

"Oh yes, I forgot !"

She gasped.

He giggled and put her on bed gently placing her head on the pillow.

She was looking at him at questioning eyes.

"Are you...?

She asked blus.h.i.+ng.

"Haha no my lady, don't worry I'll not creep into your blanket at midnight."

He gave a meaningful smile.

Caressed her hair by moving fingers into hair strands he laid by her side for some time then disappeared when she slept.

At school:

Saavi was in the parking when Gabrielle came waving.

"Hi Saavi."

"Uh Hi Gaby."

Saavi was beaming.

"Hey you nicknamed me !"

Gabrielle pouted.

"Ah yeah, don't liked it?"

"No no , it's kinda cute."

"Haha let's go to cla.s.s."

"Yeah, together."

Gabrielle stressed upon together.

A new beginning,  a new day. Saavi enjoyed the school first time. Chattered with Gabrielle and befriended her whole group. Ate at canteen, gossips and exchanged numbers.

Riding back to home Saavi was pa.s.sing by the bakery when the old woman cried to ask her.

"How's your arm sweety?"

Saavi shouted back.

"I'm fine Ms..."

She stopped as didn't knew her name.

The old woman again yelled in her screeching voice.

"Mrs. Parsley, Glad you're okey."

Saavi nodded in YES as she memorized her name.

She pa.s.sed the lane and rode towards the bridge.

When she remembered that WHAT'S THE NAME OF MR. STRANGER ?

She hurried back to home, ordered Martha to bring lunch. Dashed into her room where he was already waiting for her. Sitting on the chair , reading a book !

READING !

He greeted her warmly.

"Welcome back my lady."

"Thank you Mr.....?"

She paused intentionally.

And waited for him to tell her name.

But he didn't understood what she meant. So buried his head again in the book.

"What's your name?"

Saavi questioned clearly.

He closed the book and thought !

"Well I don't remember now. Actually I don't remember anything. But I do hear someone calling me Ashton. So it's Ashton as I guess."

ASHTON !

"Ashton it seems royalty."

Saavi guessed.

Although right !
