Nancheng Lie drunk all night at home. He was awakened by a bucket of cold water. He managed to open his eyes and saw his cold-faced second brother and his mother.

"You…" He attempted to punch his brother but was slapped by him.

"Bro…" Nancheng Lie was shocked. So was his mother. His siblings loved Nancheng Lie because he was the youngest in the family. They even spoiled him like their sons. Not to mention to slap him, they didn't even have the heart to scold him. But now his brother slapped him.

"You know that you almost have alcohol poisoning?" said his brother.

"I…"

The brother pulled Nancheng Lie by his collar over to his mother, "Look at your mother. Look harder!"

Nancheng Lie stumbled to look at his mother who was worried about him. She was no longer smiling as she usually did. Her eyes were full of worries and wrinkles start to spread around her eyes.

"I, I am sorry." Nancheng Lie lowered his head. He knew it. He knew his family was worried about him all the time but he couldn't control himself. Falling in love with Han Mingxu was so out of his control. "Mom, I'm sorry." He hugged his mother and cried like a baby for the first time because of his love for Han Mingxu.

His brother petted his head and comforted him like he was still a child in trouble, "it's our fault to spoil you so that you forget courage and to be brave." The Nancheng family was powerful enough to protect him from anything.

 "Bro…"

"You were very brave when you were little. You did whatever you wanted. When you were punched by other kids, Xu said you were stupid. You always looked at him with a smile and said that you would grow up stranger. We asked you what you wanted when you grew up. You didn't answer. You just looked at Xu. We didn't understand back then. But now…"

"Stop saying." He didn't answer because he knew somehow that he wanted to be with Xu and protect him when they grew up.

"If you really love him, go for it." Said his brother tenderly.

"Bro?" Nancheng Lie looked up at him surprisingly.

"You don't have to carry family blood. We wish you a happy life rather than a miserable one." Sighed the brother. Nancheng Lie and Han Mingxu grew up together. The family knew how Nancheng Lie felt for Han Mingxu. They never asked since Nancheng Lie never said. 

Although they had no idea about h.o.m.os.e.xual love, if their brother had to settle down with a man, Han Mingxu would be the best choice. At least, Han Mingxu was like a brother to them.

"Thank you. I see." Nancheng Lie kissed his mother on the cheek, "I'm sorry, mom. I will spend more time with you later. But now I have to find Xu." He had to tell Xu, in the risk of damaging their friends.h.i.+p, that Nancheng Lie was in deep love with Han Mingxu.
