"When this letter comes?" Xiao Jun asked while opened the envelope.
"This morning." Liu Wei replied.
Xiao Jun and Xiao Tianyao have their own way to communicate with each other, thus it wasn't a matter whether Xiao Tianyao was far away from them, they still could contact one another in secret method safely.
Xiao Jun scanned the letter, the envelope contained with two long pages and every words that was written on it was very concise and informative.
This was indeed Xiao Tianyao's style to inform something to him.
"You can leave." Xiao Jun waved his hand without even bother to see Liu Wei as his eyes locked on every word that Xiao Tianyao wrote.
Liu Wei bent his body respectfully without saying anything as he didn't want to disturb his master and walked away to catch up with his sleep. It had been two days straight he didn't have a good sleep. So, he was happy to have one now.
When the sun peek from the horizon, in the pavilion, Xiao Jun has been reading the two pages letters carefully, he actually read it for the third time now.
The contain of the letter was an information about something that Xiao Jun asked Xiao Tianyao to do in the Zodasian Kingdom, he thought his brother wouldn't do it because of what he had done or something that he almost did toward Luna.
Since he would be a father himself, gradually he could understand Xiao Tianyao's feeling. No matter what kind of woman who conceived his child, the child was innocent.
Xiao Jun finally put down the letter and stared at the sunlight that sipped through from the leaves and fell on his tea cup. He was in deep thought when Qianru was approaching him and sat down beside him.
"What is that?" She asked with her sleepy voice.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click for visiting.
"You are awake?" Xiao Jun raised his head and cupped her small face. "Why don't you rest a bit longer? This is still early in the morning." He caressed her rosy cheek and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears.
"I don't feel sleepy anymore…" However the moment Qianru said that a yawn escaped from her lips.
"Liar." Xiao Jun chuckled and knocked her head lovingly.
Qianru also laughed with him, actually she has awakened because she felt something missing and the moment she opened her eyes she couldn't find Xiao Jun.
She knew that Xiao Jun would have his morning tea in the pavilion and could continue to sleep, but she found herself got off from the bed and walked toward the pavilion.
"What is this?" Qianru asked her previous question and pointed her finger toward the envelope on the table, she didn't dare to take a look of it without Xiao Jun's permission.
"Open it." Xiao Jun brew a cup of tea for Qianru and casually nodded at the letters.
"Can I?" Qianru looked at him expectantly, she really wanted to involve in every plan that he was planning.
"Sure." Xiao Jun sipped his tea casually. "This is letter from Xiao Tianyao." He informed her.
"Oh…" Qianru carefully picked up the letter and read it.
The letter was contained with information about Zodasian Kingdom and the Elder man that Xiao Jun was looking for. There was no greeting or farewell statement inside the letter. However, even Qianru felt this style really Xiao Tianyao's.
"He found the location of the Elder in the Zodasian Kingdom?" Qianru put down the letter and turned her head to look at Xiao Jun.
"Yes, he found him." Xiao Jun admitted it, then he started to tell her about his encounter with Luna and the conflict between him and Xiao Tianyao.
"She is pregnant?" Qianru raised her eyebrows.
"Yes, she will be three months now." Xiao Jun's face turned gloomy. "I just couldn't bring myself to kill a pregnant woman." He lamented his hesitation when decided to let Luna alive.
Qianru knew the conflict in his heart and caressed his upper arms rea.s.suringly. "You did a right thing, so don't feel guilty about it." She said softly and rested her head on his shoulder.
"Do you think so?" Xiao Jun looked at her and rested his head on hers. "She has brought more problems to us."
"From your story, I think she had taken her side now, and she takes Xiao Tianyao's side." Qianru said while intertwined their hands together.
"Are you sure?" He didn't really understand about woman emotion and they way their mind was working. "She could use her child as leverage for Xiao Tianyao's life." He blurted out harshly.
Only with Qianru, Xiao Jun could spit any thought that crossed his mind without process it first.
"She is a mother, naturally, she will not do any harm to her child." Qianru was very sure about this as she would be a mother herself. Only women who were not in their right mind who would harm their own children. "I think she will be a good mother…" Qianru muttered.
However, Xiao Jun didn't really believe this statement. "She only wanted to save herself when she told me she was pregnant." He said it icily.
"Maybe you are right, but if you kill her how she could save her child, right?" Qianru was showing her stubborn side right now and didn't want to back down in this argument.
"Alright, let's see later what she will do after she had given birth to the child." Xiao Jun yielded and poured a cup of tea for Qianru so she could warm herself.
Qianru grinned and circled her hand around the hot cup to warm her palms. "Then what will you do?"
"I think I need to take longer trip than what I have planned." Xiao Jun saw the fleeting of disappointment in Qianru's eyes that she covered it hastily by lowering her gaze.
Xiao Jun knew how much the disappointment that Qianru would suffer during her first pregnancy, because it would be the same amount for him, the regret that he couldn't even witness how his first born would be growing day by day inside Qianru's stomach.
"How long it will take?" The grin on her lips disappeared as she pouted. "I don't want to be left behind…" She added it with a whisper, but still Xiao Jun could hear it clearly.
"I will never leave you if it's not necessary…" Xiao Jun pulled her into a big hug as he caressed her back. "I will comeback before our child born…"
Xiao Jun could feel Qianru turned stiff when he finished his words.
Qianru was only a month pregnant, there would be eight month to go before they could see the baby and during that period of time, Xiao Jun wouldn't be by her side.
Her heart ached, but she couldn't protest or complain. "Are you really going to go that long?" Qianru raised her head and looked at Xiao Jun with unexplainable feeling.
