Qi Xunyi was speechless and didn't know what to say anymore as he glanced at Ye Xiu beside him. The man looked at Qianru's pale face through the slightly opened door.

"So, she needs Dragon blood plants?" Ye Xiu stirred the topic back to its original purpose.

"Yes." The woman doctor nodded her head as she glanced at her patient on the bed through her shoulder. "She loss too much blood, we need the dragon blood plants immediately. The medicine that I gave to her will not preserve her life for long."

Qi Xunyi's brows knitted together upon hearing the doctor's words. "Where we can find the dragon blood plants?"

The doctor also felt hopeless. "It's a rare medicine plants, there are not many places that provide it, the only place that I know is the imperial physician." She mumbled absentmindedly.

Of course imperial physician would have something like that, but the problem was, it was an impossible place for them to visit, no matter how urgent the situation.

It wasn't only they wouldn't be able to obtain the dragon blood plants, but by going there, they would give their life as well.

"It's impossible." Qi Xunyi rejected it immediately.

"I feel the same too." The doctor chimed in, but with different reason in her mind, she would have never thought that the woman inside the room was the run away from the palace.

"How long she could survive?" Ye Xiu suddenly asked.

"A day at least." The doctor answered and tilted her head at Ye Xiu. "You know where to find the dragon blood plants?"

Both the doctor and Qi Xunyi looked at Ye Xiu expectantly, hoping he had the answer.

"Yes." As Ye Xiu answered their curious gaze, he strode inside the room. "But, we need to leave immediately."

Qi Xunyi and the doctor followed him inside and watched Ye Xiu carried Qianru in his arms.

"Bring extra blanket." Ye Xiu said to Jinse. "Doctor, could you please give me all the medicine that you have with you right now? A prescription will do if you don't have enough."

"I have enough for a day." The doctor hastily fished out a few small bottles from her medicine box and put them on the table. "However, if you want to bring her away, you need to know how to perform an acupuncture in case she is bleeding again. I am afraid…"

"I know how to perform a basic acupuncture, just tell me which point that I have to insert the needles." Ye Xiu cut off the doctor's words, he knew this from his sister- in- law, thanked to Su Zhang Li. "Xunyi, prepare the carriage."

While saying that, Ye Xiu gave Qianru over to Qi Xunyi as he urged the doctor to give him a brief lesson about the point that he needed to know in case of emergency.

The three of them were busy with their own task, leaving Qi Xunyi with the unconscious Qianru in his arms.

He was a little bit in daze, the woman in his arms was so thin as if her weight was nothing. She rested her head on Qi Xunyi's shoulder, her perfect brows knitted together, even in her sleep, she felt in pain.

Upon realizing this, somewhere inside Qi Xunyi's chest, he felt a sharp pain.

"Xunyi, what are you waiting for?!" Ye Xiu asked with raising tone as he saw something strange in the man's eyes. He knew exactly what it was, it was the same eyes like how Xiao Jun looked at Riana.

"I will go now." Qi Xunyi didn't dwell with Ye Xiu's suspicion as he strode out of the room like nothing happened.

But, he was a bit distracted with the sweet smell that exuded from her as Qianru was literally very close to him.

Qi Xunyi couldn't resist the urge to glance over at her face again and again.

As he arrived at the carriage, he carefully put Qianru down and adjusted her position so she could lay down comfortably.

Afterwards, Qi Xunyi checked on the carriage and the horses, made sure everything was fine for their journey, even though he didn't know where they would go, but he was certain Ye Xiu knew where they could fine the dragon blood plants,

Not long after that, Jinse came with blanket and more food, she hoped directly inside the carriage and accompany Qianru until Ye Xiu came to join them.

"Where we will go?" Qi Xunyi asked when Ye Xiu was about to sit on the coachmen seat.

"I will bring her to the Greenhill Mountain and you…" Ye Xiu looked at Qi Xunyi as he remembered the way he looked at Qianru. "Go back to our men and lead them back, there is Lin Xinyang that we need to protect as well."

Greenhill Mountain was a place where a rare herb and poisonous plants could grow, therefore not only the landscape of the mountain that helped them to hide but also the poisonous plants could ward off the unwanted visitor for them.

Among thousands of plants, Ye Xiu knew there was a dragon blood plants at the north site of the mountain, he had seen that, but the problem was the long distance to reach the Greenhill Mountain.

It would take more than two days from this village.

In the other hand, Qi Xunyi didn't really like this arrangement but couldn't find a single reason that make senses to retort him, in the end he could only agree.

He stood there for sometime until the carriage had disappeared from his sight.

I hope you will be fine…

From the village to the Greenhill Mountain it took more than a day. Qianru regained her consciousness twice during their way back.

Fortunately, Qianru's body responded well to the medicine and the acupuncture that Ye Xiu gave to her.

However, on the second day when they almost reached the border of Rockstone Kingdom, a guard spotted them and became suspicious as he asked for Ye Xiu to get down from the carriage.
