Regardless she wasn't a grown up woman yet, but it was still inappropriate for her to be naked in front of a man, she had been thought about the proper conduct between men and women, and what Gong Xu was about to do now wasn't something that proper to do.

However, Gong Xu had been living away from all of the basic mannerism, all he knew was how to survive. Hence he didn't count something like that seriously as he thought of Senja as a little girl.

"Fine." Gong Xu was irritated, he thought Senja's reaction was too excessive. "If you don't want me to do it, then do it yourself. Make sure you wipe all over your body with this cold water to cool down your body temperature." He gave up.

Senja nodded obediently. "Will do."

Then Gong Xu stood up. "I will be back with some food for you to eat."

"Gong Xu, thank you." Senja said weakly when the man's figure disappeared behind the lousy curtain. But, there was no way Gong Xu could hear that, as he even didn't look at her direction.

Senja moved slowly and undid her robe, but then she realized it was different dress, which she was wearing when she lost her consciousness.

She frowned and pouted.

Did he the one who had changed her dress? If that was true, then it would be so embarra.s.sing. How he could act like it was nothing?

When Gong Xu came inside the room, Senja had done and was curling her body under the cloak, her chapped lips were pale and opened slightly as she breathed, apparently she fell asleep again.

Gong Xu put down a bowl of warm porridge before he shook her tinny shoulder. "Wake up." He called out softly.

Senja grunted, but didn't awake.

"You need to eat something." Gong Xu persuaded her to open her eyes. "Come on take two or three spoon."

"I don't want…" Senja curled her body into a human ball. "My mouth taste bitter." She whined.

"Stop act spoiled and get up." Gong Xu didn't have a patient in him to face her stubbornness. "Come one."

Gong Xu propped her body head and made her sit down. "Now, eat this." He swiftly put the spoon in front of Senja's lips, gave the girl no other choice to swallow it.

Senja attempted to glare at Gong Xu, but failed miserably. She didn't have a ferociousness in her.

"The porridge taste awful." She complained and tried to avoid the second spoon.

"This because of you are sick." Gong Xu reasoned with her, despite he knew the taste of food here was totally atrocious.

Senja was still reluctant to eat it, but she still opened her mouth and directly swallowed it, so the taste didn't linger in her mouth longer.

"Sir, the doctor is here." A woman voice traveled inside the hut to inform Gong Xu about the arrival of the doctor, who he had been waiting.

"Can I have a drink…" Senja glanced at the cup beside Gong Xu and he gave it to her, helping her in the process.

"Come in." Gong Xu said.

A young and meticulous man walked inside the hut, his nose slightly scrunched when he took his surroundings.

This doctor looked like a scholar with fair skin and tidy clothes. He looked at Senja disapprovingly, because he was wearing a dress that akin to rag.

This wasn't a pretty dress indeed, because Gong Xu had it from the villagers, but at least this was clean enough to wear.

Despite that, fortunately the doctor was still holding his responsibility as he started to check on Senja.

Fever, inflammation and slightly dehydration, aside from those, Senja was fine.

After the Doctor checked on her, he gave a few medicine to Gong Xu, he had it with him as the man who called for him had said the symptom that Senja has, of course that was Gong Xu who had told him to do that.

There was no point to prescribe a prescription as there was no pharmacy in this village.

 Gong Xu checked on the medicines that the young doctor had given him and thanked him, he generously gave a lot of amount of money and walked him out of the hut.

Feeling the heavy weight of the pocket of money, the young doctor became more polite and pleasant with his expression, he told Gong Xu about what he should do to take care of his little sister, the thing that Gong Xu didn't need because he already knew all of that, in spite of that he still nodded in understanding.

Once the doctor was gone, he returned to the hut and found Senja was sitting absentmindedly on the edge of the bed.

"Finish your porridge and eat your medicine, we will leave once your condition is good." Gong Xu rummaged his bag, looking for something.

"Can't I come with you?" Senja mumbled, but Gong Xu wouldn't be possible to hear that. "I have no one to rely on, it feels nice to have someone look after me."

Gong Xu was having his back faced Senja, thus he didn't even know that the little girl was confiding to him.

"Even my father doesn't want me, there was a time when he tried to kill me, that's why I can't tell grandfather about what he did and his wife did to me, because he will kill me once I say that to grandfather." Senja sighed deeply as tear was rolling down on her cheek. "Grandfather is always away, if I tell him, he will be mad and punish them, but after that, he will leave me again and those people will hurt me even more."

Gong Xu still not turned his back.

"That's why, can I go with you?" Senja asked in pitiful voice. "I will not eat too much and I will listen to you, but can you bring me with you? I have no one…"
