When Hayley heard Aaron voice she instinctively turn her head toward him and at that moment her head hit Aaron's mouth and Aaron let out a groan in pain. He instinctively let go of Hayley to cover his mouth which was. .h.i.t by Hayley head a moment ago. He was in pain but the moment he let go of Hayley her body swayed again and Aaron supported her with his body one foot out and chest pushed little outwards to support Hayley's back and his hands still on his mouth. "I am sorry," Hayley blurted . She didn't know why she suddenly feeling so weak and she felt cold. The moment pain subsides Aaron removed his hand form his mouth and then again he extended his hand towards Hayley but this time he put his one hand on Hayley's forehead and another on her shoulder. The position they both were standing was rather awkward to see if someone saw them like this they might think that Aaron was about to kiss Hayley's shoulder or maybe he was about to abduct her, but Aaron didn't care about any of this and Hayley was not in a state of mind to think any of it. When Aaron put a hand on Hayley's forehead he could feel her forehead burning she was running a temperature. He turned Hayley to face him and asked her "how long have you been feeling this week." Huh? This was all Hayley could reply, aaron could see that Hayley was having difficulty in standing so he dragged her to the nearest chair and made her sit there then again he put a hand on her forehead and he said to her " you are having fever Hayley." After hearing this Hayley also put her hand on her forehead to feel but she didn't felt anything odd because her whole body was burning. Fever was taking over her mind thought Aaron. " I'll go and call Keith", said Aaron and he started to walk but before he could take a step away from her Hayley stopped him by grabbing his hand. "don't call him, I don't want him to be worried, it's his engagement party, let him enjoy." Aaron could see the point if Keith got to know that Hayley was running high fever he was going to create a huge ruckus , " so I can call Nora or Caleb" said Aaron after a while. Hayley just shook her head, now she was having difficulty in speaking but she had to speak " let them be, I don't want to bother them, aren't you a doctor, just give me some medicine and I just go home and sleep, n.o.body has to know that I am sick."Hayley said. Aaron shook his head as if saying that she had gone mad but he rather said " I don't have any medicine with me now." Ohh that was all Hayley could reply but before she could say anything Aaron put an arm around her shoulder and then supported her to stand up and said " let's get you home and on the way I buy the medicine for you from pharmacy." Hayley head was spinning now she didn't care right now how she look and how this situation might look like she just wants to go home and curl up in her bed and sleep. Aaron supported her all the way to the car and till this time he looked at the girl walking beside him, her face turning pale after every pa.s.sing second this got him worried. They walked toward his car, he made her seated in the seat and then he took the driving seat but before driving away he sent a message to Keith he knows that Hayley told him no to tell anything to Keith but he thinks that Keith should know that Hayley was sick and he was with her and he will take care of her.
