While going towards shopping mall Aaron noticed Hayley s.p.a.cing out quite a few times and that got him worried. Ginny noticed this from back seat but she didn't know what was wrong and decided that she should talk to Aaron as soon as possible. For Hayley she was contemplating that to out of all of them whom she should ask about Aaron and Rachel's past. Her first choice was obviously Aaron but she was the one who stopped him from saying it when he wanted to discuss it with her so wouldn't it be awkward if she ask him about it now after witnessing their hug. Maybe Aaron would thought that she was being insecure, there was lot of things going through Hayley mind till Aaron opened pa.s.senger seat door and informed her that they have reached mall. This is idiotic thought Hayley and she tried to compose herself and then she put a bright smile on her face and then she helped Ginny to her maximum to find a perfect date dress for her.
Aaron knew that Hayley wanted to ask him about Rachel and he wanted to tell her everything but then he saw her smiling and helping Ginny out like nothing had happened and that puzzled him, he didn't understand this behavior of her. When Aaron dropped Hayley at her apartment she was still smiling but then Hayley invited him to come inside and have a coffee with her. The moment Aaron stepped out to accompany Hayley his phone started to rang and it was a call from hospital and he was needed there. After disconnecting the call he shot a helpless look at Hayley and Hayley understood what that meant, he had to go and she just smiled and told him to go. Hayley stood there for a while and when Aaron's car disappeared from her sight the smile on her face vanished and there was only sadness left in her eyes. He was busy as always and work comes first.
