After the doctor finished speaking he went away immediately. It was doctor that reported to Jun Ting about his son. He was wise to said everything in one go and didn't look in Jun Ting's eyes because after everyword he said he could feel the temperature dropping five degrees each.
Jun Ting had absentmindedly replied a slight "mhm."
He closed the door, went to a nearby sofa and dropped to it. He rubbed his temples. This was the first time he felt like this. Is it a because a stranger is involved? And that his son is mysteriously attached to that stranger?
This obviously didn't miss the eyes of Jun Ying. This was a first. He had never seen his brother so messed up before. He knew that his brother was well organized and knew himself and his limits.
Distracted by his own thoughts, Jun Ming had already slipped down the windowsill on his own and walked towards his father. Jun Ming hugged his father's long legs sticking out. Jun Ming knew. How heart wrenching it felt. Jun Ming was his limiter.
Jun Ting's eyes popped out of surprise and picked him up and hugged him. He felt something coming out from his eyes. He didn't know what was it but it kept coming like a waterfall. He leaned on his son's shoulder.
He didn't know.
He didn't know that he was crying.
------------
Jun Ying was rooted on his spot on the floor. He knew that his brother was crying. And he knew why.
Three years ago...
Jun Ming was still two years old.
Jun Ming had unexpectedly wandered out of the mansion straight into the forest. There were some wild beasts in there and although he was a genius, Jun Ming had a weak body.
The servants were trying to find him to their extent but could only search the outskirts, since they often hear roars from time to time and with each pa.s.sing minute dread filled their hearts.
Jun Ting was pacing back and forth for who knows how long. He looked through all the cctv cameras but there were no cctv cameras inside the forest. This troublesome son. He even escapes under the watch of his butler. Jun Ting clutched his chest.
He was having a panic attack.
"Huff..huff..."
He rummaged through his table and found an inhaler. He opened it and breathed for a few times, calming his nerves. It had been a while when this happened.
Jun Ting was tired and laid down in the sofa. He ma.s.saged his head for a few times and eventually fell into a deep sleep.
'Huh?'
He opened his eyes and looked at his surroundings. Why are there people in white? What's this light above? What are they saying?
Wait.
I can't move. Jun Ting thought. He looked at his right hand and felt a heavy dread. His hand was strapped with a leather strap and he was bound to a bed.
There were white clothed people around him.
No!!
NO.NO.NO
Why am I here???? Whyyy???
He trashed around. He was not strapped. He was not held down. He was free. It was just a dream,no, a nightmare. He felt cold all over. Where was Jun Ming??? My son??
Then he felt a comforting warmth. It was in his chest he looked down and there he saw his littke dumpling. He didn't know what he felt at the moment but all he knew he was safe and back in his arms. He laid down again and clutched Jun Ming tightly.
He felt an instant sense of relief because he knew, Jun Ming was the only one who could control his emotions. Jun Ming was the one that reminded him that he was still human.
He was proof that he was witha woman. A woman he loves but couldn't remember whi she is. But at least there was proof that he loved.
The only emotion he felt after frustration. Love.
