The next day, Yuan Jin had decided to have two parts for the commercial ad. First would be for the photo shoot for the cover of the magazine which will feature Lu Xinyi and the other one would be the for the video ads featuring the Love Knot Jewelry Set that needed to be highlighted.

Shen Yi agreed to do the campaign ad as long as his face wouldn’t be seen on the ad. The focus would be on Lu Xinyi and the rings which were what Yuan Jin wanted in the first place.

Pa.s.serbyers curiously looked at the staff busy setting the equipments for the shoot. Lu Xinyi could hear them speaking but she paid no attention to what they were talking about. Since Shen Yi had still work to do back on the Shen Group, she would be doing the photo shoot alone.

She’d been helping Yuan Jin for more than a week now and Lu Xinyi hoped that they could finish these shoot as soon as possible. Two weeks left until her examination at Silver Leaf, she knew she had to focus with the remaining time to review and practice.

Lu Xinyi yawned as she waited for Yuan Jin to call her name so they could start. Pulling out her phone, she messaged her husband.

Lu Xinyi: Whachadoin?

She waited for a little and to her delight, Shen Yi responded almost instantly on her message.

Shen Yi: Waiting for another meeting to start. You?

Lu Xinyi: Waiting for our lunch break. I’m still hungry.

Shen Yi: Didn’t you have breakfast earlier?

Lu Xinyi: I did but I’m still hungry. Send me something delicious. ?

She put down her phone to open a bottled water to drink. Her phone beeped alerting her for a new message. She grinned when she saw Shen Yi had sent her a photo. She blinked twice as she saw what he sent to her.

He was scowling on the picture what made it funnier was her brother-in-law Shen Xue photobombed behind him adding horns on Shen Yi’s selfie picture.

Did he just send a selfie of himself to her? Lu Xinyi burst into a fit of laughter earning weird glances from people pa.s.sing by and Yuan Jin’s staff.

That was hilarious. When she told him that he should send something delicious, she meant food. Never mind the fact that she never knew that her husband was capable of taking selfies or Shen Xue fond of ruining his brother’s day. Still, that was something she didn’t expect to receive and that made her day.

She snorted in the middle of her laughter, wiped away her tears and gasped for air. She was having trouble with her breathing because of what Shen Yi sent to her.

“Stop laughing, Xinyi. Hahaha—” but it was too hard for her, “Stop! You will ruin your makeup! Look dead puppies. Woohh—”

“Miss Lu, it’s time! We’re needed inside the courtyard.”

Lu Xinyi silently took in the intricate design of the courtyard behind a huge mansion. The archway leading to it was high and wide and was covered with vines and flowers she didn’t know what was called. She gasped when they reached the other side of the courtyard.

There was a large pool amidst the garden full of flowers. The surrounding bushes and plants gave the scenery a remote and untouched paradise.

Yuan Jin had given her and Shen Yi the script they had to follow for this commercial ad. Lu Xinyi would have to portray a celestial fairy exiled from heaven by the Jade Emperor who had fallen in love with a mortal emperor which will be portrayed by Shen Yi.

In the first part of the video ad, they will profess their undying love for each other but unfortunately, the man will die from war leaving the fairy alone and grieving over his death. The second part of the video will center about the two being reincarnated into the modern world, finding each other in an expected way, and falling in love once again to each other.

Lu Xinyi didn’t know where Yuan Jin took his idea for this ads but she had to admit that she liked his concept. Love transcends time and s.p.a.ce. Even if death separated the two, they found each other on their next lifetime.

She wondered if it was the same for her and Shen Yi. Were they meant to be together?

She was quickly guided to a dressing room to change on her costume. Ah, this fairy costume was so cute, she wondered where did Yuan Jin found such a beautiful dress!

The light green dress itself was made from light material and she likes how it flows and moves on her every movement. The sleeves and the seams had beautiful embroidery of white flowers. They even add a veil and a mask to hide half of her face to match the dress.

The only thing that Lu Xinyi didn’t like was she had to wear a wig and a headdress. Her costume made her look like a different person. Well, at least the dress did a great job to hide her unwanted fats that could ruin the picture.

Taking a selfie of herself, she sent the image to her husband with the caption: ‘A single second apart from you is equals to a thousand times of pain from missing you.’ She left her phone back to her bag when Yuan Jin called out her name.

“Alright, Xinxin. We’re going to do this shoot a little different from what we did before. I want you to dance on the other side of the pool.” Yuan Jin gestured his hand at the other side where the equipments were facing.

“W-what? I have to dance?!”

Dancing with Shen Yi was easy but dancing alone and acting as a fairy, Lu Xinyi realized this would be harder than what she thought it would be.
