Governor Kelim had left Prince Ailwin and his advisors in his office to rest, so he could process everything that he had read today. With sleep not being an option, Kelim left his bed in search of liquor.

The anger he wished he had shown to the Bizana clan to drive them out of the city, came spilling out of him in full force once the intoxicating liquids flowed through his system.

"Its...allllll...hier….fallt…!" Kelim staggered around his bedroom shouting out his grievances into air.

When almost all his liquor was finished and only his fury remained, Kelim grabbed the last half-full bottle of wine and staggered out of his house, heading towards the Bizana clan's household.

Tripping over his feet down the city's streets, Kelim only had one thing on his mind and that was to make Lord Elre pay. So focus he was on reaching Lord Elre, he didn't realized that the sun was setting.

Braeden watched as Kelim stupidly stumbled his way towards the Bizana's front gate.

"Braeden, can you get to him?"

"Not without leaving my secure position." Meaning either he expose himself to danger for the stupid Governor or he stay his a.s.s in the safety of the land rover.

"...FU*K…!" Ailwin cursed. He wanted the Governor alive to get information that only he seems to know about this Gywennstri woman, but he wasn't willing to allow his best friend to get injured or die because of it. He could only curse the Governor and his stupid actions.

Ruven tugged on Ailwin's sleeve, "You going to tell him to save Governor Kelim, right? They can't leave him out there to die…" Ruven looked at Ailwin pleadingly.

Ailwin looked down at the young advisor and smacked his hand off of his s.h.i.+rt.

"You had no problem leaving my men out there to die...why are you asking for our help now?" Ailwin turned away from Ruven and went back to his seat.

Behind his back, Ailwin didn't get see the vicious face Ruven made when Ailwin denied his request. 

"Braeden switch to video…" 

"Okay...hold on."

Ailwin hooked up his wristband to the computer screen as Braeden changed the settings to cam mode.

With steady hands, Braeden showed Ailwin the drunk Governor Kelim.

Nothing was out of the ordinary at watching a drunk Fae walk down the streets until Braeden caught something from the corner of his eye.

"What is that…?" Braeden panned his wrist towards the area that caught his attention.

Ailwin stared at the screen not seeing what Braeden could.

"Tell me...what is it?"

"A...shadow?" Braeden stared into the darkness. Shadows were all around them, but for some reason the shadows he was staring at felt like it was watching him and Governor Kelim.

Ailwin didn't question Braeden's description. If his friend's instincts were telling him the something was there then something is there. He trust Braeden's six sense sometimes more than he trusted his own.

They went silent, all anyone could hear was the off beat steps of Governor Kelim's feet and his mumbling as he came nearer to Braeden's rover.

"Fug...em….Bezzza...lan...I...sow...uu"

The high roar made Kelim jump in fright, almost instantly sobering him up. Turning around in circles, he looked around him realizing that he was walking outside after sundown.

"….wha...no...why…" Losing himself to his fears, Kelim panicked.

Braeden, who was in the rover, had still been keeping his eyes and the cam trained at shadows. So he was able to spot the minute the thing hiding there moved.

Ailwin saw the movement too.

"What the fu…..ck" Braeden hands shook a little as he watched the thing sneak and slitter it's way from it hiding spot to stalk Kelim.

In the office Ailwin was stupefy by what he was seeing. There was no better way to describe what they were watching than a monster. Coming back to himself, Ailwin starting recording the scene.

"Braeden...is there no way to save him…."

"Unless there is a ten course meal in his pockets…I would say no." Braeden sarcastically remarked.
