Ye Enchen raised his eyebrows and said, “Of course we can, because I got this.” Then he took out a pa.s.s.

Looking at his vicious expression with high aspirations, Xia Nuan had a bad feeling inside.

Looking around, she wanted to leave here, but found out that he had already sent several subordinates to guard here strictly, which meant, she could not leave at all.

Xia Nuan had to go to the bedroom and opened the window, then she watched the bustling neon streets not far away and felt lost. She was thinking about the children and Ye Sichen.

Ye Enchen said confidently he was gonna recognize the recidivists and regarded Ye Sichen as the target, but why could he do that?

Did he have any evidence that Ye Sichen was the wanted criminal?

There was a steady knock on the door outside and Xia Nuan’s thought was interpreted. When she came to her sense, she took the prepared pepper water in her hand before she opened the door.

Ye Enchen appeared in front of her with steaming hot food.

She frowned out of surprise.

“I made you a midnight snack. You can have some food before sleep.” He smiled warmly and went in with a plate of food. Then he put it on the gla.s.s tea table.

She looked at him and then the food he served her warily.

He smiled bitterly, “I know you are afraid that I may out something in it. I can taste it first. Will you feel relived if I do so?” Then he forked a piece of shredded meat, and then put it in his mouth and chewed it.

“I’m not hungry.”

“Just eat a little. You’ve been flying for a few hours and must replenish your energy.” He said.

She walked to him and sat opposite him. Then she took a sip of soup with a spoon and said, “Let’s eat together.”

He felt extremely flattered and stopped frowning.
