Chapter 372: Rise of the Snipers?

“Da, da, da!”

The wall of the shot had a cl.u.s.ter of bullet holes. .h.i.t into it by machine gun bullets, and the transparent strengthened face of gla.s.s had been shattered, creating spider-shaped crack lines!

A white fireball combo the size of a soccer ball flew in to the ground from outside, setting ablaze a huge area of products, quickly creating a sea of flames!

The other few members of Dan Hen’s team and four Veterans Tribe members were then all stuck at the bottom level of a shop by the roadside.

In front of them across the street of over 20 meters long were all sorts of skills, fireb.a.l.l.s, ice blades, submachine gun bullets and machine gun bullets sealing a blockade of death.

Whereas behind them was a horde of infected zombies with broken limbs, open stomachs and intestines, blackened blood dripping from their mouths and grey eye sockets s.h.i.+ning with bloodthirsting l.u.s.t, continuously charging at the shop which they were in!

The owner of the two hands let out a groan, its eyes without any look of pain.

It stretched its fleshy head with half its skin gone past the window, opened its blood-stench mouth and attempted to bite the arm of the Heavy Armored Warrior!

“Screech!”

But even the sharpness of a stiletto could not break the full-defense-type Alloy Heavy Armor with a thickness of over two centimeters. Let alone teeth, even this male zombie biting onto the Alloy Heavy Armor had only produced a disturbing metal-screech!

“Chop!”

An Alloy Sword stained with a reddish-white substance followed up and chopped down from a side, slicing off the head of this zombie which had already had half its neck bitten off by others infected. Then, as the Heavy Armored Warrior wiped off the blood on his face with a “pei”, he kicked the headless body of the zombie out!

“Leader Dan Hen, what now, are there anymore members replying to the SOS signal in the surrounding? d.a.m.n it, must have been that the signal is cut off, it can’t even be sent out to 50 meters!”

Standing outside the door that had already been completely broken down behind the shop, Frozen Red Giant withdrew his Alloy Sword and yelled loudly!

Hiding himself in a corner and continuously using Chip expert skills to activate the Communicator, Ion Flames who was attempting to contact Skynet and his people was grim.

He did not partic.i.p.ate in defense or attack, not because he was freeloading, but because he already had no means of attacking!

The range of the skills of Manipulator players was huge, but their weakness was that the usage was too much – compared with weak-skilled Gunners who would almost never have their MP depleted, it was very easy for Manipulators to lose their MP!

This was also the reason why “Intelligence-type” basic permanent Enhancement Potions were so wanted by Manipulators. The “+20% MP recovery speed” was actually an even more useful attribute in the eyes of Manipulator players than the main attribute of “+10% Intelligence”!

“Skynet and the others probably are outnumbered, a Level 50 Commander monster with 300,000 HP technically can’t be taken down by anything less than more than 10 better players with Level 50 equipment!”

“Plus their position is more of a dead end than ours here!”

“Seems like there’s no way to return Old Brother Feng the favor this time, perhaps we’ve even done something terrible, that NPC might be very important to him…”

Dan Hen, whose combat uniform was cleaner than those of close-range professions but whose stiletto on his tactical vest had thick bloodstains, stretched out his submachine gun from the side. He pointed it at the Roaring Dragon Mercenary Group Sniper found by Detection to be behind a sculpture at the back of the square, continuing to fire a string of bullets!

There was already a Veterans Tribe Doctor player beside Dan Hen who had fallen into a pool of blood, with a cavity hit into his temple by a sniper bullet, his eyes wide open as he died!

In the game, in some missions or plots, players’ corpses would not immediately vanish after their deaths, and were likely to exist until the end of the plot or until they were cleared away by NPCs!

In actual fact, even in PK, players’ corpses did not disappear at the moment of the white light of death but would similarly stay a period of time.

Of course, these corpses in the eyes of players who had switched off their gory visual mode would turn into a few set types of default appearances. As for female players who died, if some private parts were exposed, they would turn into default roles even in the eyes of players who had their gory visual mode switched on.

There was naturally no need to explain the reason!

“In such city environments, it’s indeed too easy for Snipers to perform, there’re no better ways to face a Sniper than using a Sniper!”

Dan Hen’s face turned grave as he quickly changed the magazine on his submachine gun.

Although Snipers were powerless when fighting monsters in training, there was a need to admit that especially in group PK in cities, they stood with an extremely huge natural advantage compared with the other professions!
