Inevitably Trapped With The Amorous Husband 117 Chapter 117 : Let's Date In Japan! 2

While the Xing couple eats their breakfast, Secretary Yang Bo briefly reported to Hongqi. He also mentioned Mr. Sato's sudden visit last night.

Hongqi doesn't have any clue who that Mr. Sato was. There are a lot of government officials in j.a.pan. He met a few either through connections or a government official comes to meet him.  He can't memorize their names but he might be familiar with their faces.

"I see. I don't know him but please tell him that I can meet him maybe at 6 pm-ish. My wife has plans and wanted to see some places. For sure we will take our lunch somewhere far away from here. Just let Mr.Sato know that I can only meet him shortly." Hongqi mentioned while he looks at the reports. 

"Alright. I'll inform him. Anything else, young master?" Secretary Yang Bo inquired more tasks since his boss might too busy later. He briefly checks the madam and she seems to be glued on her mobile phone looking for the best attraction here in Kyoto.

"If urgent matters need my presence, tell them to change the schedule and I don't want any of them calling me unless it's Han Pierre. That's all I guess." Hongqi strictly mentions. Matters with Han Pierre are very crucial and critical. 

Secretary Yang Bo nodded and get his tablet back. "Noted, young master. For now, nothing to worry back in the country and your other businesses. You can have a nice trip with madam."

Hongqi actually took this chance to have fun since it's almost winter, everyone is busy and having a vacation. The only ones who are busy are the actors and actresses in his company. When it's winter, they are booked non-stop by tv specials and year-end parties. 

Usually, he's present in these year-end parties since bosses like him must attend and be generous to the unfortunate ones. But since he has other plans, he'll skip this year and will do it next year instead.

Knowing that nothing's wrong in any of his a.s.sets, he can completely have fun outside with his wife.

When they finished their breakfast, Xiulan became livelier and got more excited. She checked a few places where they could go. Ancient shrines and palaces were the top suggestions.

The last time she went to j.a.pan was during university days when her parents decided to bring the whole family in j.a.pan. It's been so long. She wasn't able to visit again because she got busy with her previous work and now her own company.

"Let's visit some temples first before we go to the ancient palace. It's been a while so I'm really excited." Xiulan happily mutters next to Hongqi. 

Hongqi was never a fan of boring trips like this, but it was a good way to have more talk and time with his wife. This might be the first time he'll have an intimate trip with a special someone.

Even with his ex who he had a serious and special relations.h.i.+p with, they never visited boring places since most of the time both parties are busy and they can only spend the time together in a hotel or anywhere with a bed. 

He was not the type to be romantic anyway. He only became slightly romantic to Xiulan. Maybe it's because he's getting old and the overwhelming feeling of being in love got into his head. Well, he's not complaining.

Their first destination is the famous Kiyomizu-dera, the most popular temple in Kyoto. The main hall and the stage in this temple were built without any nails, it became a national treasure. Xiulan was fascinated by this fact so she wanted to check it.

Hongqi will only follow what his wife wants so he doesn't have any comments to share.

When they arrived and was looking for a parking lot, there are a lot of tourists! It's jampacked and just by looking at it, it can make someone tired already. Hongqi loudly grumbles and complained to his wife. "There are so many people. Do you really want to go there?"

Xiulan frowned at her husband and hissed at him. "Well, you abducted me and wanted to have a vacation, right? This is part of the vacation."

Hongqi rolled his eyes. "We can go somewhere else with less crowd."

"No. We are here already. We should just continue and punish ourselves with the rest of the tourists. And for your information, j.a.pan has millions of tourists every year. So anywhere we go, there will be a lot of people." Xiulan rejected his request. She wouldn't dare to leave this place yet. She must see it up close!

Hongqi didn't try to argue anymore. This is what he wants, right? He wants to make his wife happy, right? Just endure the sea of people.

They pay for their admission fee first along with their personal a.s.sistant and went in. While they walk, they took some really cool pictures.

Like the typical excited female, she kept asking her husband to take some pictures of her with the best sceneries, angles, and statues. She brought the high-end camera they bought last night when they shopped for items and Hongqi bought one as well. He wanted to secretly take pictures of his wife in HD.

"Here, take a picture of me." Xiulan pa.s.sed the camera to Hongqi and she excitedly posed near the edge of the railings in the temple's hall.

Hongqi was slow in taking pictures since he wants the best angle for his wife. He simultaneously uses the two cameras and he pa.s.ses the two cameras to their a.s.sistant so they could have a couple's shot.

They were the most annoying couple since it takes longer for them to leave a certain place.

Once tired, they went to the shrine to cast their prayers and to rest a little bit. The couple's prayers seem to be a lot since they stand there for too long. 

After casting their prayers, they went to a very large incense burner room that could ward off and chase away the bad spirits lingering near a person. 

While they were holding the incense, Xiulan quietly muttered a joke to Hongqi. "I won't be surprised anymore if we suddenly leave each other since you're the bad spirit in my life." Then she laughs very loudly.

Hongqi didn't like the joke at all. He didn't want to burn the incense anymore. He was about to let go of it but Xiulan stops him. "Aish, this man. It was a joke, a joke!"

"It's not a cute joke, my love." He bitterly said. 

Xiulan laughed more at his remarks. With her free hand, she cutely pinched his cheeks and tenderly pacified him. "Why are you so cute, my dear husband? Come on, let's light this and see what will happen." She still can't stop her giggles.

Hongqi didn't want to continue but his wife was gripping him not to leave. He burned the incense with too much grief. It was so evident in his expression that Xiulan couldn't help but tease him all the way to their next destination.

Their next destination was Otowa waterfall, it's a nearby hill that produces a clean stream of water. Rumor has it that the water has wish-granting powers. When a person drinks the said water, their wishes could be granted.

Xiulan held one of the water scoopers so she could catch waters from the rooftop that are produced from three streams. She drank it without any fuss.

This caused Hongqi to bewilderingly look at his wife. He's not sure if the water is really clean but he wouldn't dare drink water from a roof.

"That's disgusting," he commented while he watches his wife puts back the water scooper.

Xiulan rolled her eyes and snubbed her husband. "It's clean, everyone drinks it. Drink it before regretting."

"Still, you won't see me drinking that." Hongqi looks back at the water falling from the roof. He cringes when he saw more people drinking the water.

Xiulan held onto Hongqi's arms and teased him again. "You're a man yet you're so fussy!"

"I'm not an ordinary man, love. I'm worth billions and you'll never see me drink dirty water." Hongqi was narcissistic but he has all the reasons to be conceited.

Xiulan pinched him again and dragged him away from the water streams since the guardian was looking at them with a glare.

"I still want to visit the other shrines in Kyoto. Are you ready for more walks, my dear husband?" she has that vengeful smile on her face. She knew her husband doesn't like walking in crowded places.

The ruthless husband ate her dry last night, she must avenge!

Hongqi sneered and easily flashed a million-dollar smile at his wife. "Will your legs keep up? I'm sure they are tired."

Xiulan narrowed her eyes at her husband and hit his arms with her very expensive bag. "This annoying man! How could he say such things while they are in a holy place."
