"Well, Mr. Roland…do you still need more time to answer my question? I guess everyone here already tired waiting for you to answer that question. As a person who attends Royal Academy this kind of question is not hard to answer right?"
Some laughs can be heard in the dining hall after I ask Roland that question.
"Noisy! You deliberate to make me out of focus and causing my counting to fail, right?"
"Huh? That's an easy question and you still haven't finish count it?
Some laugh can be heard again from VIP seats
"Grrr! Five more minutes and no distraction"
"Okay…make sure you count it right"
This time Roland shamelessly asks his guards to count with him. Some of the guests who see this only can shake their heads. They surely can see how shameless this Roland guy is.
After more than five minutes, finally, Roland seems already finish his counting. Although he a.s.sisted by his guards when doing the counting, he looks confident as if that answer is made by his own thinking.
"Well? Mr. Roland, are you finished yet?"
"Of course! This kind of question is nothing for me"
What a thick face! He took a long time to count, need a.s.sistance from his guards, and yet he still said this is nothing for him. If there's the champions.h.i.+p of the thickest face, I believe Roland will be the one who held the t.i.tle. Alright! Let's hear what is his answer then.
"So…what the result?"
"That's…the answer is two thousand and two silver coins!"
Huh? After taking so long time time to count, the answer even not close with the correct answer. I already predict that Roland can't answer my question, but such a big difference between his answer and the correct answer, I wonder what method he uses to count.
"Mr. Roland…Are you going to make the kingdom bankrupt by embezzled the military fund or you just can't do this simple counting?"
Loud laughter comes from every side of the dining hall. Roland's face becomes red then changes to purple because of the anger and shame he just received
"Quiet!! What do you laugh at? I bet he can't answer it himself that question. That's why he asking me that question"
Roland still tries to defend his pride even though it just makes him looks sillier and pettier.
"I made that question, why can't I answer it? Of course, I can answer my own question"
"Then, what is the correct answer?"
"The answer is 1730 silver"
"Bulls.h.i.+t!! You just said any random number as the answer"
"Humph…do you think you are the only one here that ever attending the Royal Academy? There're other people that also attend Royal Academy here. You can ask him whether my answer is correct or false"
"Huh…you're just bluffing. There's no way I can find anyone who ever attends in Royal Academy in such desolate place like Harvard territory"
After Roland said those words, Anthony rises from his seat. I already predict that he won't sit idle when the name of Royal Academy being mention as I'm sure that Anthony also ever had education in Royal Academy for his status as an Earl's son.
"Roland Easton, do you know who am I? Do you know what my education is?"
Roland Easton looks shocked when seeing Anthony. Well, Anthony did looks aloof which makes people can't notice him and he also sits quite far from Roland's seat.
"You….you…you are Anthony Stamfort, top five in Royal Academy graduation in your generation….why are you interfering here?"
"Huh, why can't I? I'm also studying at the Royal Academy and I don't like someone using the Academy's name to bully people. Henry's answer is correct, the sum is 1730 silver. You can ask other people in Royal Academy too, if necessary, but the answer will not change, it's 1730 silver"
"Hah! Maybe you both already prepare that question before I come in. if you can answer my question then I will believe that you have some brain there"
Still stubborn and didn't want to admit his defeat, but it's okay, let him testing me. I believe I can answer all of his questions.
"Listen, here's the question, in the sky there are ten ducks flying above, two hunters shoot their arrow at them. How many ducks are still flying in the sky?"
What is the simple question is that? Is the Royal academy counting lesson equal with an elementary school in the modern era or only this Roland is the stupid one? Since this Roland looks so smug after asking that question, let me play this Roland with logic and reason.
"That easy….the answer is none. There're no ducks left in the sky"
Roland laugh come out from his mouth, it's so loud which make the dining hall full with his laugh
"Huahahahaha….i never thought you so stupid Henry. So it's true that your question is prepared by sir Anthony before"
I let him laugh until he satisfied before start talking
"Then what is your answer, Mr. Roland?"
"It's eight, you stupid country b.u.mpkins, even a child can answer that question"
"Even a child will know that answer is wrong Mr. Roland"
"What do you say?"
"Even a child will know that ducks will not stay in there waiting the hunter shoot their arrow again to them. They surely run away from there, right? Second, you never say that the hunter's arrow hit the ducks. If one arrow hit the ducks, then one duck remains, if both arrows. .h.i.t the ducks, then two duck is remaining while others flee away. So the right answer is zero because all the ducks already flee away because they sense the danger after both arrows miss the target"
Loud clapping sound can be heard in the dining hall. It seems all people in here also agree with my answer and reason. Well, if they have brains of course what I'm saying is making sense and reasonable since Roland never said that both arrows. .h.i.t the target. But for people who lack brains like Roland Easton, they surely can't accept such an answer.
