The next morning, Minhyun had disappeared from the bed. Expected. He left to work early with the intent not to wake her up. She was grateful for she loved sleep, but she also wanted to see his face once more.

After that day, she didn't get much chances to see him. His schedule got busier by the minute. There was a good reason for it to be.

In less than two weeks after the gala, many incidents occurred. The internet had been in frenzy everyday with the release of new information. A few days after the Moon sibling's scandal, the next big explosion to hit was the release of the Moon group's under-the-table deeds. All the evidence that Minhyun had gathered about their illegal activities came to light.

First, was the heads involvement with prost.i.tution. Although this was a shock to many, it was expected for rich people to commit these actions. Therefore, it did not have too much impact. The police also did little upon hearing the news.

Next, the embezzlement, illegal stock trading, and their inner secrets deals were released. Now with all this publicized, the government had to take action. It was not only one wrongdoing but multiple all cras.h.i.+ng at the same time. With all this concrete evidence released to the web, it was impossible to not give any repercussions! That would be unjust!

Outside of the Moon group buildings, many people protested with red bands around their heads. They all lifted up signs protesting for equality and for the Moon group to be banished. With the combination of the Moon siblings bullying incident, the Moon group was already in the spotlight.

Since they had ventured into illegal territory, everyone was on the train to bring them to the ground.

Finally, the darker side of their business brought chaos upon the citizens. The black market was a different world. This time, it was very personal for the police to get involved considering that gang-related evidence was hard to come by. All the bribed officials went into frenzy seeing their names on the news as well for conspiring with the Moon group. The names of gang members resurfaced.

The rich society was turned upside down.

To make sure no member would escaped, all members of the Moon group, except for the children and people 'not involved with the business' were under house arrest. Unfortunately, Jaemin and Jaeun did not work under the Moon group yet for they were students, removing all those restraints from them. However, because of their social scandal, they weren't keen on going outside anyways.

Everyone had deserted them so there was no one to meet.

All the hard work was thanks to Minhyun and Ji-ho who worked constantly to get this news delivered out to the public. They planned everything to the roots so that the greatest impact could be made. Minhyun also used his network to encourage the investigation so that no bribing could lessen the Moon group's sentence.

In the end, the Moon siblings had done wrong but the people who shaped them to become this way were the adults. Therefore, they had to suffer as well.

After cla.s.s ended, Yoona quickly cleaned up her things and left to go back home. Everyone was going crazy over the light shone upon the Moon group. Now, all admiration of the Moon group disappeared, turned to disgust. Therefore, she expected for today to be just a day full of cla.s.ses and studying. Perhaps she should call up Lucas and Eunha, that sounded fun too.
Either way, today was supposed to be a normal Friday. Or so she thought.

The minute she walked out of her cla.s.sroom, she noticed a familiar white-haired boy leaning against the wall with his headphones on. He was bobbing his head to some music while waiting.

Upon seeing her face, he waved his arms happily with a grand smile. "Yoona!"

He ran up to her and flung his arms around, engulfing her in a hug. Luckily, due to Ji-ho's light weight, she didn't stumble backwards.

With widened eyes, her whole body was frozen, before a smile burst on her face. She ruffled his white hair. "Ji-ho! It's been a while! How have you been?" "Great!" He leaned in to whisper in her ear. "I've been helping Minhyun with the Moon group situation. It's been going very smoothly. We're basically done now." Happiness burst in her heart. If that situation was handled, didn't that mean Minhyun would have more time for her? The news brought her excitement. Now there would be no more danger to worry about and the man she adored would have time for her. Perfect. Different date ideas whizzed in her head and she couldn't chose. Should they visit the beach again? Go hiking? Watch a play? There was so many options to choose from. But wait a minute... How did this boy find her building and cla.s.sroom? Then she realized that answer could be easily solved through his hacking skills. Scratch that. Why did he come come to see her? "What are you doing here?" She asked. There was no reason for him to personally find her.

"I have come to deliver an announcement!" Ji-ho exclaimed proudly with his chest puffed high.

"An announcement?"

He nodded. "Yup! You're going to love it." She c.o.c.ked her head. Curiosity swirling in her eyes. "Tell me." There was a moment of silence to build up the tension. "You and Minhyun are going to Jeju island for a two-day trip." No way. She couldn't believe it! A trip? No wonder Minhyun was okay with being so absent. He knew that they would be able to spend some quality time with one another. A blush filled her cheeks. She wasn't sure whether or not they were dating so everything was very ambiguous but a trip sounded like fun. After all, Jeju had beautiful scenario, vast oceans, and wonderful tourist attractions. Perfect for her taste! "That's amazing!" She gushed with her hands clasped together. Minhyun really knew how to surprise her. Ji-ho let out a loud laugh. "It is! And you know what the best part is?" "What is it?" "I'm going to be joining you!"
