After the mood lightened up from Yoona's words, the old woman found the courage to bring their food to them. She was quite frightened to interrupt their deep talks before, especially after seeing Minhyun's face. With some side dishes on their table, the two took small bites as they continued to talk. The atmosphere was still heavy - but it was bearable for other's to turn a blind eye.

"Well," Yoona began. "Since we are starting over, I think I should introduce myself again. How bout it?"

Minhyun leaned his back against the wooden seat. His eyes not leaving hers. "Go ahead."

After confronting Minhyun, she could feel herself warming up a lot faster than before. Although he had saved her from the Moon siblings, it was a lot harder to become relaxed because she was burdened by his kindness. The boy was too nice for her for no reason. Now, since he unveiled the more genuine side of him, instead of a childhood friend, she viewed him as a new friend. Someone she wanted to become closer with.

And since he opened up, she couldn't help but relax as well. They both lowered the expectations they had for one another and decided to accept the other no matter what.

Therefore, for her introductions, she decided to have fun and just wing it. There was no need to eye Minhyun to see if he was uncomfortable or put herself in a cage. She was just going to say whatever from now on.

She sent him a little wave before flipping her hair. Just like she would introduce herself in front of a new group of people, she acted the same in front of Minhyun.

"h.e.l.lo my new friend. My name is Yoona and I am twenty-one years old. I am currently attending university as a business major. My hobbies include socializing with my friends and uh... Getting tips? To be honest, I never had time to do anything else so i'll just stick to those two. Fun fact about me is that I won second place in my major's beauty contest during freshman year. What about you?"

Normally, she didn't brag about her looks but after that serious conversation, she thought she should liven up the conversation a bit more.

Minhyun coughed. And for the first time, he felt himself swear in front of Yoona. "What the f.u.c.k?"

He always knew Yoona was energetic, but he didn't expect for her to spout such nonsense for her introduction. All of the traits she mentioned were quite interesting, but they were unexpected. He never seen someone talk to him in such a lazed manner. It was just too out of the ordinary.

For a moment, he felt bad for swearing because he didn't want Yoona to hate him - but he reminded himself that they decided to be real.

"Hey!" She said before hitting his shoulder. A chuckle escaped her mouth. "Don't judge."

Minhyun's heart relaxed. From her reaction, she wasn't hurt. Maybe he should really let his worries down now. Besides, there was something about her introduction that tugged annoyance in his mind.

"What kind of school has a beauty contest?" His deep voice did not hide its disgust towards her student body. It was silly to think of a bunch of young adults judging girls based on their looks for an event. In school, they should be productive, yet he was hearing such stupid things.

Yoona completely agreed with him. "I'm not sure either. The seniors said that it would be a fun little activity so I was forced into it."

"Forcing girls to be the subject of their shallow judgement is fun for them?"

Yoona shrugged. "Apparently so. What can I say? University boys, particularly the seniors haven't always been the best bunch. Especially when it comes to freshmen girls."

So those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds were the problem. "Do you want me to get rid of any of them?"

Surprised by Minyun's sudden proposition and the strangely dark look in his eyes, she gulped and then carefully spoke her next words. "What do you mean?"

As if there was nothing wrong with what he said, Minhyun fixed the position of his wrist.w.a.tch nonchalantly. "My power allows me to fire them from school or to prevent them from entering the business world for the rest of their lives. If you want, you can ruin their lives in an instance."

For a moment, Yoona a.s.sumed he was joking for his words sounded so far-fetched. Yet, from the serious look in his eyes, she knew that he was telling the truth. It seemed as though these types of actions were common for him.

The atmosphere suddenly became grim again with the click of a light switch.

She awkwardly laughed. "Y-you don't need to do that. But if I ever feel like they don't deserve those rights then i'll definitely tell you."

"As you please."

Although having this option of revenge was quite nice, Yoona wasn't the type to ruin someone else's life. Even when it came to the Moon siblings she wasn't as vengeful as most people would be.

Revenge was not her cup of tea.

Yet.

The future was unknown and she didn't know what it held. But to try to stir away from the current topic, she decided to go back to the original topic. At the moment, revenge was not her main focus in life.

"Either way, my point stands. I am very pretty," she bragged while placing her hands against her cheeks in a cute manner. "Only second place to Jaeun."

There must've been something wrong with the compet.i.tion. Perhaps, it was rigged. Minhyun couldn't understand why Yoona would come second place to that devil.

"You lost to Jaeun?" He said while letting out a low chuckle. "Those boys are much worse than I thought. You're much prettier."

Ignoring the blush forcing their way up to her cheeks, she flipped her hair back. There were plenty of males who went after her, however, hearing these words come out of such a stoic character was a different feeling. In fact, she almost believed he was telling the truth. "Thank you for believing so, but even if I hate her, I can't deny that she's pretty."

Minhyun crossed his arms, a.n.a.lyzing Yoona from afar. His burning gaze almost made her squirm. "I disagree."

"Liar," she sang. Of course, she was grateful that he thought otherwise, especially since Jaeun was her enemy, but facts were facts. In her eyes anyways. "But I was under-dressed during that time which could be the reason for my loss... But enough of me. I want to hear about you and something different from last time."

He lightly tapped his delicate fingers against the table. Usually he wasn't the type to go about these types of childish conversations but it didn't hurt trying. But he found it very hard to dig in for information about himself as most of his days revolved around work.

"To introduce myself for the second time, my name is Chae Minhyun. Currently, I am twenty-four years old and hold the position of CEO at a large corporation. I don't have hobbies. Most of my days are filled with work. And other than my academic and business career, there are no other interesting facts about me."

"So other than work, you do nothing else?" Yoona asked. Even Jaemin and Jaeun had time to do whatever they like - in fact, for them they had infinite time. Seeing that Minhyun was saying that he had no time to do activities that he enjoyed kind of saddened her.

"Mhm."

She shook her head. "But there has to be something. Think Minhyun. Use that genius brain for something other than work."

Minhyun raised his left eyebrow. "I really don't."

"Wow," she said. "I guess your life isn't as great as it seems huh?"

He let out a bitter chuckle, one resonating with thought and backstory. Although the corners of his lips tugged into a smirk, it was clear that the rest of his face showed distaste. There was something about his actions that showed there was worse to his life then she would imagine.

"You don't know the half of it."
