Lying on the bed, Huang Qiuyan stares at the ceiling. The burning sensation is getting worse by each pa.s.sing moment. The empty blood packets are lying on the floor. She turns to her side and clutches the white bedsheet. It's so clean. She's feeling unclean.

His host loves her more? He grits his teeth. "That's not true. She loves your father more."

"That's fine. I love my father more than I love her," Fu Mian replies with a clear voice. "But, she loves me more than she loves you."

"Why would she love someone who can kill her with a drop of blood?" Xiao Chun Dan lets go of her arm and bursts into laughter.

"You!" Red with rage, Fu Mian points her trembling finger at him. "You are a bad uncle."

"You are a bad niece," He barks. 

The door opens and Huang Qiuyan comes out of the room. Her dark gaze falls on the boy and the girl. "What's going on here?"
