"Why are they dropping on the ground one by one?" Klyn mutters to himself as he pierces through the forest. The monsters are writhing on the ground while howling in pain. Their bodies are contorting and changing shapes. The skin is turning charred black and eyes are bulging out of the sockets. Some angels arrive and start butchering the monsters' body until they find the cores and destroy them. 

He also sees some humans in the forest. Other creatures are also coming out of the hiding places. Angels are coming down from the sky and going to humans, explaining things to them and telling them that everything will be fine now. The supernatural world is revealed to whatever is left of the human population. 

All of this is fascinating. The supernatural creatures don't have to live in hiding anymore. However, Klyn doesn't have the time to see the dawn of the new world. He runs toward the dark gate as fast as he can. The dark gate is quite far. At this time of his life, he wonders why didn't he master the flying technique. He can only fly for ten minutes at most. That would take fifty percent of his strength.

He bites his wrist and drops blood in her mouth, sensing her condition stabilizing again. 

"Does it hurt, Huang Qiuyan?" He asks her. "You are not immortal yet. Why would you do something crazy? Creating a new life out of nothing requires a lot of magic. You needed it for yourself. Do you like to make me worry so much?"

She doesn't answer him. Through the bond, he could feel her warm presence. She could hear him. Though he couldn't hear her voice, he could tell that she's smiling wherever she is. She's not worried at all. He sighs. "My queen likes to make me worry."

After a knock, the moon guardian walks into the room. She sits on the other side of the bed and places two fingers on Huang Qiuyan's wrist. "Her soul is intact. She will live."

"Why is she not waking up then?" Fu Sheng questions her with a calm voice. He could also feel her soul.

"Body needs time." Moon Guardian checks Huang Qiuyan's eyes. "She's not an immortal. A part of her body is still human... something dead? Nevermind! She shouldn't have tried that type of magic when her body was trying to find a stable point. Now, her body can't find stability and changes in the world are also causing instability. The good news is that the energies can't escape her body and her core is strong. You can keep her alive with your blood, but she might never wake up."

Fu Sheng holds Huang Qiuyan's hand. "Her hand is warm."

"The boy she created." The moon guardian continues, "He won't wake up anytime soon. He's also affected by the world's energies."

"Please help him if you can." Fu Sheng glances at her. "He is an important person to her."

"The blood guardian can be more of the help for him than me." The moon guardian c.o.c.ks her head and gives him a polite smile. "You did the right thing by letting your daughter take the path of blood magic."

"It's her destiny." Fu Sheng feels as if Huang Qiuyan is agreeing with him. She's with him, though she can't speak to him. "Her gifts become her curse because of my intervention. Because of you, she can regain control over her gifts again."

"Helping her means helping myself." The moon guardian's tone is casual. "You don't owe me anything."

There's a long silence. The moon guardian doesn't leave. Fu Sheng looks at her. "I heard a rumour."

"What might that be?" She smiles at him coyly.

"Among all the guardians, only the moon guardian is capable of making a miracle happen."

The moon guardian laughs. "That's just a legend."

"Some legends are true." Fu Sheng's tone is desperate. "Can't you?"

"I don't know how to make a miracle happens." She gives him a kind smile. "Someone once told me that love and hope are the most important ingredients for a miracle. If you even gave one of them, there's a high chance that it would happen to you."

Fu Sheng turns his gaze back on his queen's sleeping face. "Your words give me hope."

She walks toward her door. As the door closes behind her, Fu Sheng hears a voice as soft as the moonlight, "Then, it will happen to you soon."

A few seconds after the door closes, a white-haired man appears before Fu Sheng. He takes a casual glance at Huang Qiuyan. "The trickster moon… I should have known. "

Is he the miracle? Fu Sheng can't help but wonder. The primordial G.o.d turns his head toward him. "There are two ways to save her -- make her immortal right now or stop her time. She's not in a condition to leave this world and look for other ways to find immortality. You can keep her alive using the method that you are currently using, but she won't wake up since her body keeps changing and can't reach the stability. If I stop her time, her body would stop changing. She has a high chance of waking up when the world reaches an equilibrium. It would take a long time. Since you are her true mate, you should decide for her."

Stopping her time means her body would never change. She won't become stronger or weaker. Death and time won't touch her. It's a type of immortality, but the price is being forever stuck. 

" Stopping her time is different from immortality. She will also lose her chance at immortality." Reis adds, "The moment I restart the flow of her time, death would arrive her faster. She won't be able to go through the trials to reach immortality."

"Do it." Keeping her alive is more important than anything else. He could sense that she is also agreeing with him.

"I will." Fu Sheng stands up and gives a bow to the primordial G.o.d. "Thank you for saving my queen's life."

"Someone asked me to help her since she helped the moon guardian," The G.o.d of time tells him. "The moon guardian gifted you two miracles. I already completed the first one. Tell her not to bother me in the future."

A second miracle?

The G.o.d of time is gone before Fu Sheng could ask any question.
