Kael Cor: A Vampire's Awakening C-2 The Dancing Caves Of Noxis Nyx

THE DANCING CAVES OF NOXIS NYX:

The dancing caves of Noxis Nyx are enchanted, so its tunnels are always moving and s.h.i.+fting positions. It is a mine and a prime spot where the universally acclaimed compound Ionite is mined. It is divided into different areas as listed below.

THE MINE: this is where the vampires and sometimes hired gnomes come to mine various ores. It is quite literally one giant mountain of multiple mineral deposits. The mineral deposits that can be found in the mine are as follows.

I: Orichalum: Also known as G.o.d's Gold, magic Gold, Mama seed: [it is not as hard as Mythril, or as versatile as Ionite, but it is the only metal capable of channeling energy, storing it, and amplifying it's effect. It is mainly used to craft the cores of weapons, especially magical staffs, and Mama guns. It's ability to absorb energy makes it a prime material in forging anything for defensive purposes.]

II: Mythril: Also known as Dragon silver, or magic metal: [it is the strongest metal on Shearath, power and durable enough to withstand a full blown a.s.sault from a dragon or nuclear warhead and come out unscathed. It is hard to shape or forge, with only the dwarves and high elves having the capability or technology to shape this metal. It is also the purest form of silver imaginable, and is very deadly and poisonous to vampires or any undead race.]

III: Ionite: Also Known as Void Ore: [ionite is also a compound that's mostly in a physical form. As such it is categorized as an ore, but it is capable of existing in the three forms of matter. As a solid, liquid and Gas. Ionite has the complete ability to disable any and all abilities void and incapable of use. Be it a racial ability like speed or strength, or the manipulation of any form of energy. As long as there's Ionite around, it wouldn't work. It's the second most expensive material on Shearath.]

IV: Dasenite. Also known as Das: [it is a compound capable of bonding any kind of material together, creating new elements, and new materials. It also has the ability, if properly synthesizer, to increase the grade, rank and purity of anything. It is the most valuable compound on Shearath.]

THE PIT: the pit is the living area of the prisoners (i.e) the vampires. However it is also home to the gnomes and occasional dwarves who have decided to make a home for themselves, in the prison. Other races could also be found, as the pit can also be considered a place for tourist exhibition. The pit has four districts, the red and white district for the those with a better life, which are mostly dominated by other races. The green district which serves as a general area and where the market is located. The vampires here would have bought a certain degree of freedom with the ores they have mined. And finally the blue district, it could be considered the slums and the place where most of the vampire race is concentrated.

This is the true prison.

Each district are further divided into seven sectors, and each sectors are further divided into 13 areas. The pit has so for not been completely mapped as it stretches for thousands of kilometer underground, it is also rumors to house unknown creatures and monsters within its darkness and uncharted lands. It is also doted with ma.s.sive three thousand feet tall pillars, each with a circ.u.mference of five hundred meters. This pillars or towers serve as the home of all residents of the pit.

THE SOLITARY: this a separate section of the caves where prison cells were built. Death row inmates, and people being punished are put there and tortured. The Vampire's call it the lovers den.

THE BURROW: this part of the cave serves as the home for the gnomes who were thought to have lived here from the very moment the dancing caves of Noxis Nyx was created. However not much is known about this place as they don't allow outsiders to come in.
