War had truly come to Shearath, and in a form it had never expected before. The alleged death of the newly crowned king of Spero had turned the whole planet upside down. At first not many expected that there would be any repercussions, after all, how much damage could the king of a bunch of prisoners cause, the answer to that was a whole continent worth of damage.

Almost a month after the alleged death of the king of Spero Kael Cor, the human coalition gathered themselves to lay siege to the continent of Leo. The forces of Spero, and the PRIDE paramilitary force owned by the Cor family all had to withstand the rage of a 100 million soldiers, or at the very least that's what everyone in universe thought would happen. However during that time the continent of Spero went through a very b.l.o.o.d.y and short civil war; as most of the governors decided to rebel from the Cor family and claim their lands for their own on the basis that Kael Cor was evil and a tyrant.

Most of the governors had at this point already been brutally murdered and exposed of their dirty secrets by the secret organization the Fellows.h.i.+p. What remained had banded together to create a small coalition of their own. Unfortunately for them, the combination of the PRIDE and the Speran armies of vampires, humans, Nephilims, Serpentis, dark elves, and Giants, very heavily armored giants completely squashed their resistance within the week when their so called rebellion was incited.

The were brutally defeated and killed, all of their wealth was sized, and all of their supporters were banished off the planet. The Sovereign Queens of Spero gathered the people and gave them a choice. They either chose to stick with their new government or leave. They were all given a week to make their decisions, because any sort of insurgency would be dealt with swiftly, and mercilessly. Within that week alone, The continent of Leo lost 15% of it's entire population, accounting for a whooping 63 million people; men, women and children included.

And as soon as they had left the continent, much to the shock of the entire world, and to the army that was currently laying siege to the continent; the continent of Leo that has been a beacon of success and wealth for well over one and a half million years, growing under the careful and nurturing care of generations of Cor family heads, just vanished. And in it's place remained a spatial zone riffled with spatial storms and black lightening strong enough to end an army in seconds.

The universe was shocked, whatever had happened to the prison sub continent where the vampires where once incarcerated, had happened to the continent of Leo. Based on the spatial zone left behind, even the dumbest human being would know that the entire continent was not destroyed, but rather transported somewhere else, and obviously that somewhere else was nowhere on Shearath. It left the world shocked and very much in fright as they all waited for the retribution that they knew was sure to come.

And it did, in two forms. The gates of Transylvania, now likened the gates of h.e.l.lvania flew wide open as demons, and twisted versions of hybrid vampires and werewolves flew out of it. They came out in droves slaughtering and killing everything in their wake, causing untold amounts of destruction to both lives and properties. Shearath responded swiftly, defeating most of them and sending them back into Transylvania, but not without a heavy cost.

Transylvania became a battle field, as the monster of Transylvania became the worry of Shearath for three years. After said three years, when they were almost completely forgotten about, the Sperans made their reappearance. They were strong, powerful, had technology that not even the Toroth; the most technologically advance civilization in the cosmos could rival. And steeped heavily in their technology was their magic, and their rage.

The leader of the Nix Family and much of their direct line were murdered in an open altercation led by Tiberius Nix, now known as Tiberius Cor, and adopted member of the Cor family, and now very much a vampire. His enemies and his admirers called him Tiberius Blood Spear. But the Nix family where not the only targets. City states within the remaining four continents of the human coalition that believed in the a particularly set of G.o.ds that became know as the council of the dark G.o.ds were wiped out, and out of that battle new and very fearsome heroes of the Speran army came to light.

The void princess and dragon queen of the earth dragon Rhea, the elusive and whispered Masters of secrets and Shadows Gus and Teluna; who quite frankly are the most feared members of the Speran civilization. They were a.s.sa.s.sins and spies unlike anything the world has ever seen, and had an organization of spies a and a.s.sa.s.sins filled to the brim with vampires, dark elves, and race of sub-terranean shape s.h.i.+fters known as the Cameleonites. Next the human general Asare, his wife Kuyait who rumors say is the mother of the master of shadows Teluna. The queens themselves, one a G.o.ddess, and the other a vampire with the blessing of the night itself. And amongst all the heroes of Spero that sprung up, from vampires, gnomes, all the way to the dragons. The most loved and well known remains to this day the Guardian; Kodak the golden.

The Sperans devastated every target within their sight, leaving no survivors in their wake. The council of light was forced to acknowledge their power, and offered a truce. The council of light made reparations to the Speran council and their queens. So a truce was made, and the Sperans were left alone to do what they wanted. And so the Sperans took their wars to the stars and to Transylvania, fighting against the Toroth and the never ending slew of monsters from the vampire's ancestral land.

A little ways down the line the Sperans gained fearsome allies, people that were know as the dragon kings. They were exposed five years after the alleged death of Kael Cor, who many now knew was actually the leader of this group of people. But their exposure changed the way people perceive the universe, as a great change happened that could not be stopped or expected.

Two universe merged into one, bringing a variety of races known as cultivators into play. And with their appearance, new alliances were made, so were new enemies, and new wars started allover again. And through it all Kael Cor slept, as the people who loved him tried to find a way to wake him up. From that time till now, three universe have been merged into one, and the time the fourth one would be merged was drawing close. But today was the day, it's been thirteen years since then, and I've waited this long for him, even more than my mothers and my sister. They told me they finally had it, the one thing that could wake my father up. I don't know what it is, but at the very least I known I've waited long enough, and it's about time too. This is Michael Decus Cor, Grand Prince of Spero signing out.

I heard a song, and the voice that it came from was the most melodious I've ever heard. It was male's voice, particularly that of a young boy, probably a teenager or less. His voice could change pitches and tones in the most marvelous way, so much so that I'm pretty sure he would give even the best musicians of all time a run for their money. I wanted to see him, to know who exactly it was that owned such a miraculous voice. And just before I opened my eyes, I heard the relaxing sound of a saxophone as it gave more eloquence to his song, it was a serenade unlike anything I've ever felt, and when I though it couldn't get any better, he changed to a stringed instrument, a guitar. And he played with such finesse it left an ache deep within me, and the lyrics of his song reminded me of the people I love, when all I've known for quite a while was darkness.

{See I Know It Hurts, Don't You Worry Baby It Will Be Okay. Promise You Your Daddy's Coming Home Tonight. And We Will Be Standing Tall At The End Of The Night.}

I opened my eyes and sat up. He never stopped singing, he was beautiful with his silver hair with streaks of black and blue. He cut is short though, at least the sides anyway as he sported a buzz cut that was quite popular amongst the marines from back on earth. He looked about twelve or thirteen, I wasn't really sure, however he looked like me. Maybe a little too much like me, well a more handsome version if I had to be honest.

He stopped singing, but he refused to open his eyes. I wonder why, I took a look around and realized I was in a simple cabin room. It was ornately designed, but it was small and quite comfortable. I could smell the forest outside, the air the bugs and the wet earth. I could feel life teeming out of each and everything around me, I could feel and see the army that was stationed around the perimeter of the forest, all seven hundred and seventy seven thousand of them. I felt very different from the last time I was awake, and even though I don't know how long it's been, if he's this big, then it's been a while. I looked up at him, where he was perched on the window and asked.

"Why aren't you opening your eyes?" when he heard my voice, his breath hitched and he shudder a bit.

"Because I'm afraid." He looked like me, but he didn't sound like me though, of course he was young, but I knew he had a voice all of his own.

"Why are you afraid?" I asked him as I used my aura and floated towards him, having more control over my ability than I ever thought I would.

"I'm afraid that just like before, my mind's paying tricks on me. That I would open my eyes and the heartbeat, and the voice I can hear is just a figment of my imagination, and that I would be left empty and still missing you. That just like all twelve years of my life you've still not opened your eyes. I don't think I can take any more of it Dad, it's just so hard. I want you so badly to be here, I needed you so many times and even though Ca.s.sie has given up hope my moms never really want to talk about you, I still needed you. I still hoped that you would wake up and be my father, be my best friend. But if I open my eyes and you're not here again, if…..if…..I..."

In a life long past, I remembered suffering a lot of abuse from a father that loved me more than anything in the world. And even though I knew he loved me, the fact that he hurt me made me angry, and I fought back. And then I killed him, one well placed counter and my father was bleeding away at my feet, dying with a smile of regret and remorse on his face. I did the same thing, I hurt him, left him and sister along for twelve f.u.c.king years, they must really hate me.

I moved forward and placed my hands on his shoulder and pulled him into a hug, I felt his tears soaking my bare chest as he started crying. I felt his pain and his relief, just as I felt the connection between me and his mothers and sister snap into place and they felt me in turn, just as he did. And even though he could feel his connection to me he still refused to open his eyes.

"I can't imagine how much hatred you must have for me right now, I'm really sorry I couldn't be there for you when you need me. So please open your eyes Michael, I'm here."

"I don't hate you dad, I never did. I'm just happy that you're awake, but I can't open my eyes." He said to me as he held me tighter. I looked down and I placed my hand on his head, and stroked his hair.

"Why can't you open your eyes son?" I asked him with a soft voice.

"Because...because Dad I can't see, my eyes are gone."

"What!"

Authors note: also I'm sorry for taking so long to update, but my mom and I sort of got kicked out of where we were staying, so we had to find somewhere else to stay. I've not been myself for a while, but there's always light in the dark, so I'm quite okay.
