In the region of Eroth, multiple men and women in dark robes appeared in the entrance to the Celestial Time Palace. There were seven of them, each with a different mark on their heads, They were the seven Elder Demons of Chaos. A group outside Cosmos who also followed the universe's heart and the prime king. Cosmos and they were not the same, but it was not like they didn't work together from time to time.
At the front, a man with half of his face being nothing but bones spoke with a evil glint in the eye. "Elders, most of the Time Palace experts are not here at the moment making of this the perfect time to start our plans. Remember we need that time gate artifact, the king's soul was sealed in the endless river of time and this artifact is the only way to gather all the pieces to bring him back. Second and Fourth, go locate the artifact. As for the others, we should focus on cleaning this place of enemies while we have so little of them here."
"Understood!" Six voices rose in unison, before the man referred as Second smirked, "It shall be a huge surprise for them when they return."
.....
"Ohh, So my true body has reincarnated?"
"Well, yes. I thought of going there to see it, but I soon realized it was better to leave like that. She is not a deity anymore, so why should I help her remember all of that?"
The entire cave had a calm atmosphere as the two of them talked about the past. He could not say he was unhappy with this reunion, yet he could not shake this ominous feeling in his heart. His senses told him something terrible was about to happen, even if he didn't know how.
On the other side Chloe was feeling surreal. For deities who lived a long time like her, death, reincarnation and love were more like hobbies. Some even liked to collect broken heart of others. From the vision she received that day, she already knew everything she needed to see how high that young boy could reach and she was shocked.
"Ell, the eternal time clan and this time palace were all made up by 'him' right?"
The corner of his lips rose in a light smile as he nodded. Only the two of them knew who they meant by 'him'. "I suppose so, who else in this cosmic realm could do something like this. He must be wanting something to happen."
"Elijah! Come here quickly." Elijah rushed to the small camp set up by Heracles outside the cave and was caught by a hand that pulled him to the side a moment before a huge rock feel where he stood. It was Ryok, the man stared the surroundings as the ground far away dissolve and turned into nothing.
"Young king, something happened outside. This entire s.p.a.ce is collapsing really fast."
"He is right, this place would not hold any longer. The gate must be suffered an attack, if we stay here there is a risk we ended up stuck between time and s.p.a.ce."
It was when a they all saw a silhouette flying toward them, as he approached his facial features could be seen by all. "It's Aion."
Boom! Aion landed on the ground before he rushed toward Elijah with a worried look in his eyes. It seems something really bad happened for him to look like that.
"It is demons of chaos, they killed everyone in the palace and took control of the artifact. The other had already left with my help, now I'm going to take all of you out with me."
Brilliant light covered them as they figures vanished from this world. Seeing himself in the Time palace main hall, Elijah was stunned to see many bodies spread across the hall as the floor was dyed in golden blood.
On the distance he saw Seven dark figures slas.h.i.+ng celestial after celestial like they were nothing. Their bodies bathed in the golden blood of celestials as one body feel after the other. At the end of the path, he saw the huge artifact slowly opening as a translucent disc of light flew from the gate towards a huge body hanging in the air, waiting for his soul to be complete.
"This is what I have been feeling..." Elijah finally realized this is the ominous feeling he had all along. The prime king was about to be reborn. Truth be told, it was not a bad thing as the present prime king was Yawen's brother. But this would not make much difference because he knew that another thing was going to come too.
As the translucent disc merged with the body, particles of light merged to form a huge crown above the man's head as he slowly opened his eyes. With a single look from him, all the thousands celestial beings here turned into dust. Elijah saw the danger and turned to look at Heracles, Ninia and the others.
"Don't look at him! Close your eyes!" Elijah screamed with all he had, but it was too late. The few of them could not move their eyes away and soon they all turned into dust. Body and divinity erased and turned into nothing, even if their reincarnate it shall only be as mortals without any possibility of rising again.
Soon only Elijah stood on the hall facing the huge figure and the seven demons with closed eyes. Not matter how much he tried to keep them closed, a powerful force tried to open his eyes time and time again until he could not hold any longer and his eyes opened.
The elder demons and the prime king who just awoke stared at the youth waiting for him to have the same fate as others, but it didn't happen this time. Elijah only felt his entire body burning as ninety-nine runes appeared on the surface of his skin. Four rays of light left his body before turning into four different objects. A blue and a grey gauntlet on the right and left hands respectively, one multi-colored belt on his waist and a pair of purple boots.
Above his head a bright and radiant halo of light condensed above his head. Not like the faint halo from the first time, but a dense and holy light that made the aura of death in the hall gone in a second.
His eyes stared full of hatred, but not toward the prime king on the demons behind him. He was staring at the figure behind the open doors of the artifact, where a huge eye, bigger than the sun iself covered by billions and billions of tentacles slowly moved forward.
