[Alert! The two ent.i.ties in front of you are reincarnated celestials.]
So both of them were celestials from the very beginning! Understanding appeared in his eyes. If immortals didn't age, once killed in battle was the end while G.o.ds were eternal as long as they had their divinity intact, reincarnating from time to time.
"We should talk in a more private place." Ava was startled, but managed to keep her mind under control. Both her and Evelynne heard news about Elijah since they arrived in the region, its seems he bought a high-ranked mortal world with decreasing concentration of elemental energy, and managed to recover it to its former peak while being know as the founder of a brand new path known as neo-origin path.
A path where most talents didn't matter, and only by merging with a origin it would bestow a law upon its user directly. Divided into stages, levels and skills like a game, this path started to spread across the universe.
The only problem was that the origin inst.i.tute was the sole holder of the neo-origin's way of fabrication with Elijah as its president. Only they could see origins to other planets as cultivation resources or energy source to power s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps and other artifacts. So in a few dozen years since his birth which was close to nothing for a celestial, Elijah rose from a unknown mortal to a successful businessman.
Reuniting in a private room, all four of them sat while Elijah and his former cla.s.smates remembered the old times. However it didn't took long for Evelynne to ask something that was on her mind for a long time."So I heard you have an affair with the princess of the void clan which coincidentally is here in this city. May I take it as the reason you are here?"
Giving a hollow laugh, Elijah scratched his chin while feeling a little embarra.s.sed, but he could not keep himself from nodding. "There is no way I can hide it when there is even my a child to prove it. Yes, there is something between us and I'll need your help to get inside the palace."
Then he explained everything that happened within the time war, the prime king and the inteligence born within the cosmic heart finding a way to the celestial world while keeping most of the details. Ava and Evelynne were members from a small celestial clan named Ploan with seven minor G.o.ds also known as the seven star G.o.ds. And despite being small, they had a good intelligence network as well as friends.h.i.+p with most celestial factions, so they knew one thing or other about the prime king and how thigns reached the present time.
"So you lost your cultivation while trying to escape the prime king's crown, and now you are here to meet your lover as well as finding allies to fight the prime king. Did I say correctly?"Ava also understood the seriousness of the situation.
"Okay, me and Ava are only two and the tournament has a limit of four per team. But what about this you girl, are you thinking of taking someone this weak into the battle?" Evelynne was looking at Yalli with some contempt. No matter if it was a member of the void clan with a relation the the royal family, anyone could see how young was this brat only at the sixth realm. Elijah may have lost his cultivation, by his power to rule over time is scary at least and even if he couldn't fight head on, he could a.s.sist from the sides when Yalli could not.
Now it was Elijah's turn, since before he met the two he asked the same thing to Yalli and the latter said she wished to partic.i.p.ate in the tournament. And after a long discussion they came to a decision.
"Chloe, come here for everyone to see you." From within his body, a huge hammer came flying before stopping above his head. The heart pattern in its head shone before releasing a holographic image on the ground where a thin little lady with green hair stood smiling.
"Ava, Evelynne, it has been a long time." With Chloe appearing out of nowhere, both were shocked. With all of them being reincarnated G.o.ds, they knew of each other existence since the begging which made them pay a little more attention on Elijah than the others as he was the one being followed by an Aesir G.o.ddess. Since before arriving, he had asked the same question to Yalli and the latter was absolutely against being left aside, so they reached a conclusion.
"With Chloe's a.s.sistance, Yalli will be powerful enough to protect herself and not be a burden to the team." If they really wished to work together he had to disclose some of his own secrets, and at the same time Ava contacted the tournament staff about adding two new partic.i.p.ants on her team which was pretty fast, soon all of them were on the same team.
"If we are going to work together, we need to understand each others abilities. I will be a support character controlling the battle from the shadows and using my powers in secret, as an artifact Chloe can summon a bunch of pure flames of life that can heal most injuries and being hit by her is really painful." Elijah thought of his lower parts when he said the last phrase. Yalli also stared at the illusory hologram of Chloe, being the G.o.ddess of healing, even in the form of a hologram couldn't decrease her beauty, it even added a mysterious dreamlike feeling.
After discussing about their own abilities, it would take an entire day before the tournament. Elijah and Yalli parted from the two and returned to their respective rooms in the inn close to the palace. What he didn't noticed was the black-bearded man floating on top of the city nearly touching the dome while closely observing this golden-haired man. An ink-black crown on his forehead shook, but its reason was unknown.
And if you look closely, the man was staring directly at a few inches above Elijah's head, on an otherworldly halo of faint light resting on top of his head, if its light condensed a lit more. It was so illusory that even Elijah could not realize it was there all along, but this man could.
