Supreme Origin: Time King 253 Xxiii Ryn

With the tournament end, The void king waved his hand and the entire city was reconstructed in a few moments. Then the Black and the Golden-haired Yawen carried Elijah to the palace to rest in one of its many bedrooms before the banquet. Most of the G.o.ds, fairies and other Celestials who couldn't arrive earlier due to the bringing their armies and some of the experts in their clans to the meeting point. 

  "You are really stupid, aren't you..." Staring at Elijah, Yawen pinched his nose. Elijah naively smiled at her action before replying in a baby voice. "It's nothing that serious, it is just that I can't use my legs for the time being. But I have you to carry me, so I'm fine with it. As long as I recover before he arrives, it won't matter not feeling my legs."

  Both of them knew the present state of his body, he haven't even totally recovered from his escape from the prime king. Then he fought the tournament with powers he didn't even understand very well, later he had to duel a much older celestial where he burned most of the Ichor in his body before taking all that energy from the dimensional s.p.a.ce protecting the arena as well as many formations where countless experts of her clan put their energies in it.

Yawen had a few eleventh-step celestial beings of her clan come to see what was wrong with him, but none of them were that good of a healer or had any insight in the laws of life or anything similar. They just feed him a few heavenly treasures and divine medicines to help him stabilize his state before warning him to not force his body in the meanwhile, or that his injuries could worsen.

  After a moment of silence, Yawen decided to ask the question in her mind. "That last move of yours. What was that? If I didn't notice you held back at the last second, not just the city, the entire celestial world would crumble."

  "The true power of the supreme origin. What I have been using in the past was not even 1% of the supreme origins. The move I used in that last moment was the shadow left behind by the supreme origins, just a piece of their true power I was able to summon due to the supreme origin of time." If he never used more than 1% of the supreme origins in the past. Then right now, he could use about 80, the only problem was energy. He had no way to recharge his Lifeforce after it was ignited.

  *Knock* *Knock*

  "Who is it?" Leaving the black-haired Yawen with Elijah, the golden-haired Yawen went to see who was knocking on the door. A middle-aged man was waiting by the door with a strange expression as his eyes fell on Yawen.

  Coughing, The Void king swept his eyes across the room and stopped when it fell on Elijah. No matter which body, Yawen felt nervous when she saw her father staring at Elijah.

  The man, however, observed Elijah closely as the latter also turned to stare at him in the eyes. 

  "Yawen?" Seeing the expression on his face, the golden-haired Yawen thought of something before speaking.

  "There is need to call me by this name. I may share the same soul, but both me and Elijah already agreed since he's reunited with my true body i would use Sarina as my name. It's the name I've been using since I first arrived in the celestial world.

  "It's good to know. But be it you true body or not, I can only see my daughter in front of me."The middle-aged man patted her head before his face grew serious. It seems he another reason for coming here other than seeing her."Daughter, please excuse us for a moment. I wish to speak with this son-in-law of my first." For the first time in years, Yawen felt surprise when noticing her father had an expression of joy on his face when staring at Elijah, there was even respect and some other feelings.

  Sarina gasped, she didn't know why, but at least she was sure her father doesn't have any ill will towards Elijah. Lightly nodding, she bowed once before leaving the room with the Yawen. Only after a certain both of them were gone did he continued to stare at Elijah like he wanted to see something.

  "If you are staring at me like this you must already know..." Elijah picked a small Euva in his hand and played with it as he sipped into the medicine brought to him.

  The middle-aged man didn't know what to say, since he confirmed the ident.i.ty of his son-in-law, he felt baffled. Memories of that majestic man walking on the stars to visit the eternal void palace, bringing gifts from all over the universe to him as a child, then it changed for many years later when he faced armies of G.o.ds by the same man's side who never aged a day even after countless eons.

At the same time it is a huge threat to every being in our cosmic realm, it's also a great benefit for those who manage to refine it for themselves. However, this humble me doesn't have any interest in any of this..." At this moment, the aura surrounding Elijah changed drastically. If he seemed like an approachable and n.o.ble-looking man, then the man standing in front of him was the same otherworldly and transcendent being in his memories. Even though his mind and feelings he showed moments ago seemed to be an act, he was not Elijah Branches, but the King of Time and the patriarch of the Eternal Time Clan of the abyss, Ryn.

  "After the battle just now, I finally understood my role in all of this. The stage has been set and prepared, but I'm not in a good state to fight right now. I feel it is possible to recover my powers, if I just have enough energy, and there is one near place with enough energy for it."

  The void king didn't need much time to realize what he meant, looking back it all made sense. "I see it now. You plan to find the Celestial World's Core while we face the prime king's forces." Even after so many years when his father was the past Void King, he didn't understand why after the war with the G.o.ds were so many of our people died, did the time clan came with the proposal to construct an artificial cosmic realm together with every celestial race.

  The thing most celestial beings couldn't understand was that transcendent wasn't a realm of power or existence like the difference between the celestial and mortal. Transcendence was in reality a special state where a cultivator becomes one with the laws before it surpa.s.ses the realm of law, making it a transcendent power. The specters Elijah heard in the past were a form of half-transcendence. They managed to touch transcendence, but it also made their cultivation almost impossible to advance voice the realm of mortal.

  "Yes, and I want father in law to support me. The main cosmic realm is not a safe place right now, as it is possible our energy to decide to use those who live in there as hostages against us. So I propose to take those who won't take part in the battle to hide in the abyss."

  "Okay, I will accept." He didn't know if it was cloned, reincarnation, parallel world or even time travel. He would support the person chosen by the one he admires the most.

  Seeing the void king turning to leave, Elijah called him. "Wait, when you see Yawen don't tell her or the others about my plan. Even If I die, Elliot has even more potential than I have, and he can certainly defeat the prime king and refine the cosmic heart in the future. None of them need to know that I changed."
