Author: Kiriya Kadzuki Original Source: Syosetu Word Count: 1336 characters Translator: Zzonkedd English Source: Re:Library Word Count: 750 words"I'm sorry, I made you both go through a lot there."
Right as she apologized, she bowed down at both of them.
Despite being the one in charge of the restaurant and the safety of the rest, she still couldn't keep them from having to go through that experience with Karyu. They managed to talk things out due to the presence of Reesha, but if it wasn't for her, who knows how things could've turned out.
Kishana held Schenna's hand tight and comforted her.
"You don't have to apologize for that! Plus, I'm already used to this kind of treatment…"
"No way, Kishana! I won't let you get hurt again, I guarantee!"
Just her existence as a dark elf was already enough for people around to give her cold treatment. Schenna was willing to drive away anyone that tried to trick Kishana in any way, whether it be someone of lower status or a holy knight from Rinsr, it didn't matter to her.
Meanwhile, Luthors put on the armor that Schenna had prepared for her at the store and put her giant sword on her back.
"I'll be going now to gather that dark core you spoke about yesterday. Both of you just take care of the food."
"On second thought, I'll go as well. I'll try my best not to get in your way, Luthors."
"Schenna, you're the leader of the restaurant. I'm not good at cooking, all I can provide for you guys is physical work so just leave the monster hunting to me, I'll be just fine by myself."
The previous day, they had explained everything about the restaurant to Luthors including the necessity of the dark cores, which Luthors instantly volunteered to gather.
Schenna was perfectly aware of her amazing skills, but she couldn't bring herself to just let her go by herself. She suggested hiring adventurers to accompany her, but Luthors wasn't good at dealing with others and preferred to hunt alone, so she declined.
As Luthors headed out for the monster hunting, Schenna called out to Luthors and stopped her on track.
"Luthors, don't forget that now you have a home to come back to, and people worried while waiting for you to come back."
"… Thank you. I'll be back in no time."
Luthors responded with a smile on her face as she headed off to gather dark cores with her brand new armor, leaving the old one that marked her as a dark knight behind and taking on a new adventure.
"Looks like she's willing to work hard, let's make sure we do our part as well!"
Kishana happily walked around the kitchen checking for what ingredients were lacking and then headed to the Holy Bow1 merchant guild to buy them.
Every merchant guild had their own way of dealing with requests. Over at the G.o.ddess' Sword 2 guild, they had a hero as the leader so most of their work was based on taking down monsters. [Ancient Archives] guild leader was the chairman of the a.s.sociation of magicians of Hashel, therefore most of their work revolved around dealing with magic-related items and exploring ancient ruins for relics.
As for [Holy Bow] with Reesha in the lead, most of the requests had to do with pretty much anything from various races, kind of a jack-of-all-trades.
It was a small scale guild in comparison to the other two, but they had employed elves who provided them with grain and livestock, so it was perfect for Schenna and the rest who had just started their own business since they could get all they needed for quite a cheap price.
The only concern was the fact that Kishana was a dark elf.
"There's no need to worry about that. Most of the elven members in "Holy Bow" had to go through Reesha's approval to even get into the guild. So Schenna, there's nothing to worry about."
Kishana used to get all her ingredients from the marketplace, but ever since they decided to open the restaurant she started buying everything through the guild instead.
"Schenna, you're in charge while I'm out."
"Alright, be careful! I'll take a look at the recipes meanwhile."
Schenna was left by herself at the restaurant, so she decided to review the recipes to see what had changed, while at the same time thinking to herself that she had to put in just as much work as the other two in order for everything to work out well.
References using Holy Bow of the Forest is quite a mouthful, let's just shorten it to Holy Bow Guild.Same reason with Holy Bow of the Forest, quite mouthful to read them
