The shareholders had no confidence in this deal but his instincts told him that this was a rare opportunity. So ignoring all the rumours he had strived to push this through. While others lost faith seeing them lose w.a.n.g Jingwen and Yan Kun he believed if they could create three stars in a row then why couldn't they make a fourth.

Cheng Wanli was the vice president and editor-in-chief of Vimeo Net. He held considerable weight at Vimeo Net. As one of the co-founders he still retained in his hands a lot of power.

To him this was the chance to catch up to QuoDuo and regain their status. Before while QuoDuo held the position of 1# video hosting site the gap between them and Vimeo wasn't so huge but after partnering up with HuaXiang Entertainment and now New Century they had widened the gap leaving Vimeo behind in their shadow.

Their website traffic had taken a huge dive over time with some of their old clients being s.n.a.t.c.hed by QuoDuo.

Arriving at Xu Fengnian's office, Cheng Wanli walked in.

Xu Fengnian waved his hand and said: "Please go ahead."

"Since Manager Xu is a busy man, then I will get straight to the point."

Cheng Wanli opened his briefcase and took out a contract and swiftly placed it in front of Xu Fengnian and said in a concise manner: "I heard that your company has recently cancelled your contract with QuoDuo. This is our offer, I'm sure you've been looking to establish your presence online again."

Xu Fengnian immediately took on a serious att.i.tude, he picked up the contract and began to look through it.

Reading through the conditions Xu Fengnian saw everything was in order even reading the ratio of division he was still pretty satisfied.

The ratio on offer was Vimeo 50%, and HuaXiang 50%.

Though it was less than their old contract with QuoDuo it was to be expected considering their current circ.u.mstances to be truthful he expected Vimeo to offer something like 60:40 with 60% being them. Seeing this Xu Fengnian could feel the sincerity of Vimeo.

Originally, Xu Fengnian planned to make things difficult for Cheng Wanli in order to get an equal split.

Seeing Vimeo being so direct, Xu Fengnian was a little surprised.

Politely excusing himself, Cheng Wanli got up and left to give Xu Fengnian the chance to discuss the contract with Zhang Xiaohua.

Walking out Xu Fengnian returned and dialled Zhang Xiaohua's phone number and told him the contents of the contract.

Zhang Xiaohua listened then as expected gave his seal of approval.
