Yunsheng Liang, "What if I don't agree?"
Cheng Yu, "You'd better have a second thought."
"Are you threatening me?" Liang stood up and smiled coldly, "Go ahead to tell my uncle. I won't fear. Let's see if he'll buy your words."
"It proves that you don't know your uncle at all for speaking such words." Yu yawned. "Well, I'm tired now. I'll get some sleep here. You might as well leave me alone."
Liang frowned at him and went upstairs. s
Hardly had Yu closed his eyes for less than two minutes than he heard Liang turning back. He grinned but kept his eyes closed. He only asked, "Have you thought clearly?"
"What do you want me to do?" asked Liang.
"Both is fine to me." Sleepy Amber was wrapping around Yu's neck, resembling a necklace. It contracted all its muscle subconsciously the moment it heard Liang's voice. Yu patted it, waited for it to retract into his collar while flicking its tongue out, and then took a throw pillow to tuck under his waist, laughing at Liang while half lying on the sofa, "If you do not want to go back to the room, it's OK to do it here. As for in what kind of position, I do not care. It's up to you."
Liang turned around and prepared to leave.
Yu hurriedly shouted to stop him, refraining from laughing out as clutching his own chest, "Come on, it's a joke."
Clenching his fists, Liang turned around and glowered at Yu, "How old are you now?"
"I'm twenty."
"Shameless!"
"Come on."
"You."
"You want to know what to do? It's very simple." Yu interrupted him with a smile, and pointed to his lips. "Kiss me once a day, and I promise I won't say anything to your uncle."
Liang did not expect it to be so easy so was in doubt. "So easy?"
"Well, yes." Yu laughed and said, "When you grow up, we'll do something more complex."
Liang turned around again.
"Well, just kiss and nothing else. Is that all right?"
Liang came back again and said to Yu with a cold face, "The kissing is also impossible."
Yu, "Then what can we do?"
Liang, "Holding hands."
"Wow." Yu touched his chin. "So pure."
Liang gave him a stare, while Yu raised his hand in surrender. "OK, ok. Then let's start a love journey with no s.e.x."
"Remember what you've said." At this time, Liang's phone vibrated in his pocket. Liang took it out and sent a message to his cla.s.smate, then said to Yu, "I have something to go out for. I won't come back for dinner tonight. You take care of yourself …"
Yu wore a happy look, "Starting to care about me so soon?"
Liang replied with a cold face, "Take care of your pet."
"Sad." Yu lay back on the sofa clutching his own chest.
Chen fell asleep in songs and woke up when it was right the time for dinner. Feng Ma came upstairs to ask him to eat. Chen washed his face and went downstairs. He was the only one in the dining hall. Chen sat down, picked up the lotus root and rib soup in front of him, blew it and took a careful sip.
Then he asked, "Where have they all gone?"
Feng Ma stood aside and replied, "Childe Liang has gone to play with his cla.s.smate. Mr. Yu is sleeping and he had asked me not to wake him up for dinner. As for the Sir …"
Chen looked up at her and asked, "What happened to him?"
"He's in the hospital. He just called to say that he won't come back for dinner tonight and asked you not to wait for him."
"The hospital?" Chen put down the spoon in his hand. "What happened?"
"I don't know. He only said there was a little accident … hey, where are you going, Little s.h.i.+?"
Chen ran out of the dining hall but returned quickly inside, asking, "Which hospital?"
It was the private hospital where Chen had been last time. Chen went straight to the inpatient department after getting out of car. And then he stopped at the door, pulled out his phone and hesitated. Feng Ma only knew that Bo was in this hospital, but she did not tell him which ward he was in.
Should he ask Bo? A phone call or a message? Chen was wondering whether Bo had been badly injured. Could he answer the phone? Maybe he wouldn't be able to see his message …
Chen walked back and forth in worry, holding his phone.
"Mr. Zhen." The nurse at the front desk noticed Chen who was standing outside and hurriedly came out to welcome him. "Are you here to visit Mr. Bo? I'll bring you there."
"Ah? No …" Chen touched his temples. "I'm just pa.s.sing by and just heard about his injuries so I decided to stop by to have a look."
With an expression that showed she understood it totally, the nurse smiled at Chen and said, "Please follow me."
Chen had a touch of his face, bowed his head and followed up.
After taking the elevator to the sixth floor, walking on the soundproof carpet through the long corridor, the nurse finally took Chen to the suite door at the end of the corridor, "Please, Mr. Bo is just inside."
Judging from the nurse's reaction, the old man was supposed to be not badly injured. Chen breathed a sigh of relief secretly and whispered to the nurse, "Thank you."
After the nurse left, Chen stood there for a while more and then raised his hand to knock on the door.
There was no response for a while. Chen looked around, and then rang the doorbell instead.
The person who came answering the door was Bo's a.s.sistant, who Chen had praised as very handsome. Chen did not know his full name. He only knew his surname was Yang.
a.s.sistant Yang took Chen through a small living room into the bedroom.
In front of the sickbed stood two persons, a man and a woman. The woman was holding a pile of files in her arms while the man an Ipad. The man was buried in recording something on it as he listened to Bo.
a.s.sistant Yang pointed to a single sofa on the side and whispered to Chen, "Please wait here for a while."
Chen nodded, looking at the direction of the sickbed.
Bo spoke very fast, mixing some English names in his words from time to time. Chen only remembered words like "Rome", "Old street" and "acquisition".
Chen couldn't help but sigh again for the benefit of being educated.
It would be f.u.c.king great to be both educated and rich.
After the man left, the woman stood in front of the sickbed for a long time. Chen overheard Bo call her Secretary Shue. After signing all the doc.u.ments, Bo commanded some other things, and then let her leave.
With a clatter, the door was closed. There were only Qing Bo and s.h.i.+ Chen in the ward.
Bo was previously blocked by Secretary Shue so Chen could not see him and could only listen to his voice. As soon as She left, he found his left arm in plaster. Chen was startled and hurried over, "Your arm …"
"It's all right." Bo asked him, "Get me a gla.s.s of water."
Chen poured him a gla.s.s of warm water. "You're already in this. How could it still be all right?"
Bo drank it up without breathing and returned the disposable paper cup to Chen. "So concerned about me?"
Chen squashed the paper cup and threw it into the dustbin. "Please don't get me wrong. I'm not coming all the way just to visit you. I'm just pa.s.sing by."
"Thanks for pa.s.sing by and coming to visit me." Seeing that Chen was frowning over his injured left arm, Bo said with a smile, "No big deal. It's just a fracture."
Chen grew more serious, "How did you get into this?"
"A car accident."
Hearing the words, Chen's body quivered subconsciously.
Bo noticed it and asked, "What's the matter?"
"… nothing."
It's nothing. "
It was also because of a car accident that Chen's whole body was burned up. And somehow, Chen had taken over the body of another person. Well, that was fine. But now, he seemed to have grown an interest in that person's husband.
Was Chen being too greedy?
Suddenly, Chen slapped on his own forehead, squatted down and was pulling his own hair crazily.
Bo was frightened by his sudden action. But the moment he was about to ask, Chen suddenly stood up again.
"You can still work, which means it's truly no big deal. In that case, I'll go back home first." Chen finished his words fast and turned, preparing to walk out.
Bo called and stopped him, "You're already here. Help me take a shower before you go."
Chen turned around and said, "Haven't you got your own hands?"
Bo pointed to his injured left hand.
Chen closed his eyes, "Go find someone else!"
"I don't want anyone else. I only want you." As if treating it as a matter of course, Bo boasted, "I'm your man."
