Qing Bo was willing to wait, but s.h.i.+ Chen was not. Chen was not stupid. He knew that if he stayed, he would only be like the lamb waiting to be slaughtered. So, he'd better run away as soon as possible.
As it turned out, Chen was not stupid. But Bo also turned out less stupid than him. Chen simply packed up a few clothes and intended to leave. But as soon as he arrived at the gate of the villa, he was stopped by two men in black. He wanted to fight with them, but ended up, of course, being easily defeated. He was not reconciled, so he decided to escape in the early hours of next morning, but was caught up again. On the third day, he chose the time when everyone was taking a nap, but he was still caught. Chen grew more and braver with each time of failure. On the fourth day, he ran out every half an hour, but ended up being carried back like a chick in front of Bo by a tall guy who was over 1, 90 meters tall.
It was so humiliating.
The tall guy let go of his hands, and Chen sat down onto the ground with his head hanging down.
Bo tried to restrain from laughing out. He waved his hand to signal to his bodyguard to get out, leisurely leaned against the headboard and flipped through the newspaper for a while. When he noticed that Chen had no intention of moving, he then asked, "Are you still gonna run away?"
Chen was in such a low mood that he even didn't have the strength to speak. Instead, he nodded his head.
"Then keep kneeling."
Chen retorted angrily, "I'm not kneeling. I'm sitting here."
"Then keep sitting there until you don't want to run away."
Chen was p.i.s.sed off. Thinking that he should not do as what Bo said, Chen stood up and stared viciously at Bo, "You are actually detaining me in disguised form! It's illegal!"
"I know."
"Then why do you still do this?"
"I can't help it." With a smile on his face, Bo said, "As soon as I see you, I want to commit a crime."
Chen was enraged, "Pervert!"
Bo looked at him interestedly, "Do you believe that I can be more perverted?"
It was Chen birthday tomorrow. Not knowing whether he should give an affirmative or negative reply, Chen directly refused to make the reply, turned around, and rushed out of the bedroom. He walked back and forth in the big empty house holding a stomach of anger. Cheng Yu had packed up and already returned to his own home the night Chen fell downstairs for fear that his darling Amber became their food. And Yunsheng Liang also went to school for the term began.
Feng Ma, instead, appeared and disappeared mysteriously. She only appeared before or after the time for meal. The two guys in black outside were even more like invisible people. Thus, Chen got the kind of illusion that there were only two living people in this villa.
Chen could put up with the fact that there were only two living people in the villa. But what was too excessive was that the other living person would come to hara.s.s him at night.
Chen had been hiding from Bo since their quarrel and did not sleep on the same bed with him. Three days later, sure enough the old rascal could not contain himself anymore for he should come to Chen's bed in the middle of the night!
"What are you going to do?" Chen woke up from his dream and retreated hurriedly, with his hands clasped tightly over his chest. He was in high tension these days so he dared not turn off the lights when sleeping at night. Now he was even more irritated seeing Bo staring blatantly at his chest. "You, you'd better not do anything. It … it wasn't my birthday yet!"
"It'll be tomorrow." Bo said, "It's almost twelve o'clock at night. I'll wait here."
Chen was too frightened to speak at the sight of his seriousness.
"Are you scared badly?" Bo reached out his hands to Chen smilingly. "Come to my arms."
Chen was so angry that his eyes went bloodshot. "No. You're the one who scared me!"
"I lied to you. I can't do anything even after 12:00." Bo coaxed him in a soft voice. "Come here."
Chen wrapped up the quilt, "I won't believe you!"
Bo pointed to his left hand which was in plaster, "I'm already reduced to this."
Chen, "What does that matter? If you really want to do it, you can do it even if both your hands are broken!"
Bo, "Oh? How to do that?"
Chen was in irritation, "Do you really think I'm stupid. You can ride on me!"
Bo smiled, "So smart. How comes I don't think of this. I've intended to wait until my arms fully recover. Now that you're so active, let's try the position you like tonight."
Chen hated himself for being unable to bite off his own tongue.
"Why don't you speak, or do you want to do it now?"
How could Chen dare to speak any word? He jumped over to get out of bed, only to be held into Bo's chest by his long arms. Bo laughed so hard that his chest trembled, "Are you really so afraid of me?" With Chen struggling in his arms, Bo frowned, "Don't move. My arm aches."
Chen did not dare to move.
"Good." Bo patted him on his back. "Don't be afraid. I was just teasing you just now. I won't do anything tonight. I'm just coming here to accompany you tonight considering that you've been sleeping not very well these days and you've got dark shadows under your eyes."
Chen carefully broke from his arms, "Really?"
"Yes." Bo lay down on the bed and took Chen back to his arms again. "I won't do anything as long as you're well-behaved."
Chen behaved obediently and slept with Bo for a night.
The shadow under his eyes grew darker the next day.
After breakfast, it just took Bo a phone call's time that Chen fell asleep again on the dining table. Bo shook his head helplessly, walked forward, and bent down to half when Chen suddenly opened his eyes.
"What are you going to do?"
Bo straightened up his body and touched the top of Chen's head. "Go back to your room to sleep if you're sleepy."
Chen rubbed his eyes hard and thought perplexedly that this man must plotting something while he went asleep. He was not going to take the bait.
"No, I'm not sleepy."
"Don't think of me that way. I'm really not going to do anything to you." Bo sighed.
More clear-headed, Chen stared at him and said, "How do you know what I'm thinking of you?"
Bo poked him in the face. "It's written here."
Chen slapped his hands away, rubbed his face hard for a few times, looked up and said, "Were you really joking when you said you wanted me to trade s.e.x that day?"
Bo nodded, "Yes."
"Then promise me one thing." Chen paused for a moment before continuing, "Then I'll believe you."
Bo, "Go ahead."
Chen, "Haven't you said that you are going to celebrate for my birthday tonight? Let me go after dinner."
Bo, "Ok."
Chen, "Do not go back against your words. Otherwise you'll be impotent for the rest of your lives."
Bo, "Ok."
Chen was kind of unaccustomed to Bo's being so unexpectedly reasonable considering his normally overbearing manner. "Then that's a deal." Chen got up and went out. But he turned back again when he got to the door, and pointed to Bo, "It's a deal."
"It's a deal." Bo smiled at him. "Go to sleep."
Chen went back to his room, locked the door and slept until at night. At seven o'clock Feng Ma knocked at the door saying the dinner was ready. Chen got up to wash his face and thought it worthwhile to do some ceremonial things considering that today was his 18th birthday after all, which meant he would be an adult hereafter. So, he also took a bath. Finished, he put on his clothes and stood in front of the full-length mirror. He didn't go downstairs until having a close look at himself for a while.
Bo also changed to a set of clothes. Although the suit coat only dangled over his shoulders, it didn't make him less handsome at all. The more Chen looked at him, the stranger he felt. He touched his chin and circled around him.
"What are you looking at?" Bo put down the pad in his hands.
Chen stared at his left hand hanging from his chest and finally found where he felt wrong, "Where's your plaster?"
Bo said plainly, "I've taken it down."
Chen, "After such a short time?"
Bo, "I can't get my arms into the s.h.i.+rt if I don't take the plaster down."
Chen, "So you just removed the plaster in order to wear a s.h.i.+rt?"
Bo, "Is there a problem?"
Was there no f.u.c.king problem?
Chen said angrily, "Do you still want your arms?"
Bo replied, "Happy Birthday."
Chen, "…"
Bo stood up, took Chen's hand and walked to the dining hall. "Of course, I still want my arms. Otherwise how can I hold you in the future?"
